If it comes down to these two, it's Briar all the way. We have to go back to Area Zero at some point, and she's the only one who cares about that. Kieran just wants to beat the player, his storyline will probably get wrapped up at the academy.

Kieran won't be the final boss since his arc will be wrapped up at the academy. I think it's something else like the actual professor or the true form of the peach pokemon
said, that was just characters you fight at the academy. And even if we don't fight her, that doesn't necessarily mean she won't be the big bad. She could still go down to Area Zero and cause major damage. We might not fight her, but she might end up summoning a whole host of wild Paradox mons we have to fight, or maybe even Terapagos itself

Aizen from Bleach. He's a minor character that dies unceremoniously early on, then later reveals he just faked his death and everything that happened in the series so far (and I mean fricking EVERYTHING, from the main character's birth to their parents getting together) was all part of his master plans and everyone's been in the palm of his hand the entire time.
His glasses are hexagons, and that's all the evidence I need to say he's connected to Terapagos. I say he used to be a scientist in Area Zero before retiring early and becoming a school teacher. He's secretly searching for Terapagos to fulfill some kind of evil plan
That doesn't mean shit when Kieran is one of the people that you can date in the dlc, also that Go reject teacher is the only teacher that doesn't have a bonding quest.
Both Briar and Jacq know each other, are aware and studied area zero and even if he denied to travel to Kitakami he's still there coincidentally very nearly where Briar is located
You are gonna face both in the dlc, maybe they were "misguided" or something
He means Kieran dummies. Guy in his pic, Aizen, was on the good guy faction, but defected. When he publicly announces his betrayal to his former companions, he changes his hairstyle, from the left pic to right, sweeping it all back. Kieran is seen doing this at the cliffhanger scene of the 1st DLC, after going heel out of a wish to be stronger.
I really think they're going with something like a redemption arc, where Kieran teams up with Briar, but after talking out with you he decides to help you out against her
He's Momotaro from the story, of course he's the bad kid in all of this until he gets defeated by MC. They swapped Momo and the animals to be evil in this story.
This is actually pretty hard to predict. You have: >brand new area >Area Zero stuff >the school being obsessed with battling
I'm guessing they'll have MC run around the areas and fight a new NPC. Then they are finally interrupted, go into Area Zero, battle Kieran at the end. Then, with the story wrapped up, the island becomes a batle facility.
Kieran will be the final boss of the academy storyline and Briar will be the final boss of the overarching Area Zero story after the academy part is finished.
Basically this. The Blueberry Academy will have its own storyline about Florian/Juliana studying at the school and battling their way to the top, wherein they have their final confrontation with the student body's Elite Four and Kieran as the hardened Champion of the school. After that will be the DLC's own version of 'A Way Home', where the Protagonist and however many of their allies finally discover "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" and put a stop to Briar's schemes related to it.
As far as anime tropes go, most characters "looking to clear their ancestor's/family's name", and yet are not the protagonist themselves, are often the antagonist and villain. The only other conclusion I can come to is that Terapagos is rampaging or has lost control of its power in the new Area Zero story, so Briar genuinely pleads to Florian/Juliana to help save it.
This. Alternatively Briar may not actually be villainous, hence why you supposedly don't battle her. But she may go down into Area Zero and meddle with things, leading to disaster. A surge of Paradox mons, Terapagos going berzerk, something. She may not be actually malevolent, but that doesn't mean she won't be the cause of the climax
I have no idea where it came from either. Literally nothing points to it, she just wants to clear her family name. She's even following proper procedure to get to her goals, like asking for permission to explore the Great Crater.
Where were you people the last 4 generation? "villain that pretends to be well meaning to then reveal their evil motives" has been their default template since gen 6.
You're reaching to push your moronic theory, which TM already de-confirmed hard.
See you when ID drops. Not going to bother with this thread anymore, so feel free to seethe in the manner to which you're accustomed to. >verification not required
Her attitude at the Crystal Pool wasn't enough for you. I thought it was pretty heavy-handed how they had her be culturally insensitive on top of suspicious and creepy
Anon this is GF, their idea of "subtle writing" is the villain not outright saying that they're evil but still raising the most obvious red flags at all times.
Kieran is going to be the Champion of the Indigo Disk but once you defeat him he will atone and you and him will go travel Area Zero then fight Briar. Seems like the most 'Pokemon' way to do it. I don't see why Kieran would be the villain if he doesn't have any relation with Terapagos.
Wasn’t it datamined from release that Heath was a full character along with Billy and O’Nare? It could be that he acts as the final boss (either as he travelled through time or as a fake version of him created by Terapagos)
It was already leaked you don't fight her.
That leak was only BB league characters, there's obviously going to be more than 4 trainers in the dlc.

Khu already leaked the villain
I don't read manga who is this
Meek and friendly looking person that becomes evil, all the things that happen in Bleach are just his keikakus
So it's Kieran
Kieran was never friendly, he literally told You he had no friends

>Sada/Turo were just pretending to be an AI and wanted to make it seem like they died so they can travel to the past/future and ditch their son
Jacq is the villain
what would he possibly want
His glasses are hexagons, and that's all the evidence I need to say he's connected to Terapagos. I say he used to be a scientist in Area Zero before retiring early and becoming a school teacher. He's secretly searching for Terapagos to fulfill some kind of evil plan
Can buy it. He and Briar together.
>We want the Persona 5 Royal audience
Except Maruki did it for the right reasons
It cant be, he is the one to gives you the pokedex diplomas, unless he goes through a redempetion arc
That doesn't mean shit when Kieran is one of the people that you can date in the dlc, also that Go reject teacher is the only teacher that doesn't have a bonding quest.

Nah he is too lazy
Thats what he wants you to think
100%. I don't buy that he flew to Kitakami just to give you a Sinnoh starter. He was probably following Briar to the pond
You know what, I did not think about it, but it is very possible
Khu is full of shit so this isn't a valuable source
t.

Oh, he's 100% going to see the error of his ways and try to atone. They're not making a 14 year old some irredeemable butthole
He's Momotaro from the story, of course he's the bad kid in all of this until he gets defeated by MC. They swapped Momo and the animals to be evil in this story.
no there's a separate Momotaro mon
Jacq can't possibly be the villain. He's not a woman.
WAIT WHAT IF JACQ IS TRANS

The final boss is so obviously Briar, I don't understand how this is a question.
Anyone who thinks Briar is the villain has tunnel vision and is easily fooled.
I have no idea where it came from either. Literally nothing points to it, she just wants to clear her family name. She's even following proper procedure to get to her goals, like asking for permission to explore the Great Crater.
her theme heavily suggests there's more to her than there seems on the surface
Where were you people the last 4 generation? "villain that pretends to be well meaning to then reveal their evil motives" has been their default template since gen 6.
Nah doesn't work, they pretty much revealed plasma was bad from the start.
You're reaching to push your moronic theory, which TM already de-confirmed hard.

Anon, that's literally motive to go and use the time machine.
Anon this is GF, their idea of "subtle writing" is the villain not outright saying that they're evil but still raising the most obvious red flags at all times.
Explain this, then.
What did clavell do or say that hint at him having a hidden agenda?
The scene with him and the professor, where he quotes something ominous after you leave.
>No Charizard option
Had to resort to Other i guess.
Main villain hints are as obvious as a brick to the face. Keiran has them with the end cutscene, but when is Briar's?
*where
Crystal Pool
Everytime she talks about Area zero
Literally evil eyes
Evil eyes are yellow
Watch it be her
both of these chicks are sus
Maybe there's no one big bad and we get a whole coverup conspiracy involving several characters, including Briar, Geeta, Jacq, and probably Clavell.
Is this likely? No, not at all. But it would be fun
>He thinks Briar will be a villain
I can't wait for her to get the Clavell treatment as in everyone thinking she is evil but in reality she is nice
Wasn’t it datamined from release that Heath was a full character along with Billy and O’Nare? It could be that he acts as the final boss (either as he travelled through time or as a fake version of him created by Terapagos)
Briar is paradox Heath
