Cid should have been part of your party and Jill too. The main character absorbing everyone's power was cringe as frick and made everyone useless. It reminded me to when Naruto took all the tailed beasts and made everyone else useless too. Nobody mattered but the main character only. In fact FF16 and Naruto shares way too many things in common and it is awful.
