That's the version of the exchange you get if you as the player chose to treat Aerith like shit during your playthrough and had her affinity low, it's optional dialogue so that the people who chose Tifa on the Gold Saucer date don't kill themselves when this second main story date with Aerith happens and will be able to sit through it while only half seething. The affinity system changes things more than just the Gold Saucer date. The actual high affinity dialogue was already posted, he just agrees with Aerith about there being a next time rather than the whole friend shit.
The reason the high affinity one (the one where he doesn't "friendzone") is the true version is because of the brooch Aerith gets from Cloud and it's identical connection to Leslie and her fiancee in Remake. That whole Remake chapter 14 shit with Leslie's backstory with his fiancee was specifically to tie in to what Cloud would be faced with in Rebirth with Aerith's fate. It doesn't make sense for Cloud to friendzone Aerith under this context because then the rest of the scene falls apart, so it's not the canon one, very simple logic

As long as Yuffie doesn't take our materia, make us chase after her for an hour across Wutai and then when we're finally done finding/saving her, she puts my materia back completely out of order in a clusterfrick mess, then I'm good. Her messing things up/being a brat in cutscene shenanigans is extremely tame annoyance in comparison.
She doesn't in part 2 because Wutai's not a location.
She 100% will while dealing with multiple world bullshit on top of it meaning you'll be stuck doing melee crap fights as a result without ATB gain cheese flipping between 2 parties in Part 3 though I swear to god I already see it.
I hope that doesn’t happen too. At least in the OG game you could complete Wutai before Aerith’s death. In this game, Wutai isn’t a place you go to, and it would just be weird for Yuffie to betray the group after Aerith has died.

Cloud tried to kill him earlier. I'm surprised Rufus trusted Cloud enough to come up with a truce. They were enemies in OG and were on decent terms in AC.
Not surprising when you consider the fact that Cloud and Rufus have similar personalities. They're both pretty pragmatic and cool-headed leaders that will do whatever is needed to reach a goal.

It gets brushed off once Barret tells everybody that it was for the best to not take the deal. It doesn’t even get mentioned again after that. Everybody is cool. Barret and Yuffie’s relationship stands out in this game. You can tell he has a soft spot for her and probably sees a lot of Marlene in her. It’s kinda adorable.
Even when she first gets introduced in the gang. Barret is the one who tells the gang they should hear what she has to say
Barret also loves Yuffie’s hate for Shinra. Their friendship is one of the highlight of the game for me as well. I don’t think this existed much in OG FF7 but I love when they interact
It's pretty funny too given out of everyone Yuffie's the one who doesn't even care about Barret's sap story on the way towards Gold Saucer and even calls him out for even once daring to trust Shinra at all. I guess they now retooled that as them bonding over Shinra fricking them both up somehow hometown wise.

Based on trailers, there's also a part in Mt. Corel where you play without Cloud and the party splits up. That split in the party is also in the original though, it's when you travel across the railroad tracks and gotta get to a shack to flip the switch for a drawbridge.
From what I heard, the last fight during the final boss, you only have Cloud and Aerith in your party. And there’s a part in the final boss where you only have Cloud and Zack.
