The fact they never made a high budget movie using the unique artstyle of FF will always make me wonder.

We had Spirits Within, FF as a whole hardly as a unique style.
Unless you just mean FFX which is kinda unique in its pacific islands setting. I wish we had more tropical island settings.
FFX doesn't have a job system.
Also the true final boss might as well be Braska's Final Aeon, and he is tough enough for the main story if you haven't grinded on the optional content beforehand.

That boss fight was kinda shitty looking back compared to seymourkino, sin airship battle and yunalesca fight that preceded it. Couldn't even give us Tidus vs Jecht in his human form like cloud v sef in ff7.

From Sin's head to Yu Yevon is one continuous "boss" - the entire thing, including Braska's final Aeon, the crystal field, the tower of the dead - this is all part of the multiphase epic boss battle against Sin
>3 bullet points talking about the map, the biggest non-issue imaginable >implying x has a job system >hurr ff7 had a terrible final boss you just press omnislash and win!
if this is the best you got, yeah, I'd say we're doing pretty good, ffx is a great game, try harder next time
Why did you pick that corridor dungeon segment specifically, was it because unlike the others it actually gave you a little bit of freedom and our little FFX fan got confused?
This dungeon did confuse me a little because the camera angle changes depending on the direction you're going in the top hallway, so I kept on switching orbs at the same pedestal.
It's there any bonus to putting the work in for things like the special summons, dark aeons, celestial weapons, other super bosses? It's not like there's any additional story is there? I can't see myself ever being able to dodge all the lightning or do all the blitzball.
those trials were so much easier than I remembered when I replayed this game a few years ago (and yes I had forgotten the solutions, it had been like 15+ years since I'd last played it).
Nothing is insecure than a person who's favorite FF is 9.
I'm playing 9 right now for the first time. I get hot and cold about it - sometimes it's the coziest game I've ever played, other times I'm scratching my head why this plot is even continuing. Iit's pretty much an idiot plot right now as Garnet just left with Steiner to Burmecia, the obvious thing is to muster the entire party to return to fight Brahne while Cid sends a detachment to Burmecia, but everyone is acting stupid and now my party is a literal roving circus freak show...
Same, 5 and 9 are the only ones I missed dring my childhood. So playing through 9 now, I can agree it is very cozy and does feel more like a classic fantasy adventure that FF hasn't done in a while. But, at the same time I have to agree with the momentum of the story. Stuff is just happening and coincidently lining up after watching the new party member act like a moron for 10mis
Sure, but why did she even enter Garnet's chamber to join the hunting festival to begin with?We bumped into each other in town and that was that. Next thing I know I'm competing with her.

Just because there's a reason given it doesn't mean it's particularly good or well thought out

I do - there's nothing explaining her appearance in Garnet's bedroom before the festival. At least not that I recall. Happy to be enlightened as to the dialog line that would have informed me.
that dungeon is short as frick and it's easy to accidentally get the destruction sphere before you finish because ultimately you realize you have few movement choices due to literally being on rails. the actual shit part of the game is maxing luck to fight the endgame bosses
Dra
is male.
d
>LE BOOBIES
you need to be 18+ to post on this website
she's much more than a d cup ya?
There needs to be a remake where you get to bang Lulu
I want to see Yuna in short shorts and a hoodie
>no world map
>hallway sim
>shit job system
>airship is just a menu
>final boss is a joke
Anyone who said 10 was good is a moron
>final boss is a joke
Here is the thing anon. You don't get the honor of saying you've beaten FFX if you didnt kill all the Dark Aeons period.
This. Also Penance. Also if you beat them using Zanmato you didn't beat them.
Are you really waving your dicks for having beaten a "hard" boss in a turn-based game where grinding solves every encounter?
Yes.
>grinding solves every encounter?
Tell me you have no f* idea what you'r talking about without telling me you have no idea what you are talking about.
Every dark aeon except like one and penance almost instantly fold to a maxxed party
>Rapid Hit
>Rapid Hit>Rapid Hit>Rapid Hit
>Rapid Hit
>Rapid Hit
>Rapid Hit
>Rapid Hit>Rapid Hit
>Rapid Hit>Rapid Hit>Rapid Hit>Rapid Hit
>Rapid Hit
Wtf were they thinking. Should have just made rapid hit increase the speed of auto attack
yeah if you had a PAL version. In america I bought the game like 3 times and never got a PAL
Well we had to capture 10 of each monster whilst running the game (and more importantly animations) 17% slower so you pick your torture.
>whilst running the game (and more importantly animations) 17% slower so you pick your torture.
but why
Because PAL is PAL.

you forgot blitzball
Damn you're right. I memory holed it.
>job system
>X
Doing the exact same shit that 7-8 did is a problem?
Frick off shill
FFX doesn't have a job system.

Seymour also got the best boss theme in the game
From Sin's head to Yu Yevon is one continuous "boss" - the entire thing, including Braska's final Aeon, the crystal field, the tower of the dead - this is all part of the multiphase epic boss battle against Sin
>Final boss is a joke
Jecht is the final boss, not Yu Yevon
the final boss is actually seymour
Whats crazy is, its actually worse than all those points
>3 bullet points talking about the map, the biggest non-issue imaginable
>implying x has a job system
>hurr ff7 had a terrible final boss you just press omnislash and win!
if this is the best you got, yeah, I'd say we're doing pretty good, ffx is a great game, try harder next time
I didn't have too much of an issue with this trial.
Why did you pick that corridor dungeon segment specifically, was it because unlike the others it actually gave you a little bit of freedom and our little FFX fan got confused?
I like these puzzles they are fun 🙂
have a nice day
kill me yourself
Where do you live?
cute cat
same. they remind me of resident evil puzzles but without enemies so you can just chill and take your time with them.
This dungeon did confuse me a little because the camera angle changes depending on the direction you're going in the top hallway, so I kept on switching orbs at the same pedestal.
I love timing myself on this puzzle every time I play through. This and Via Purifico are underrated as filters for moronic people.
>turn based slop
Final Fantasy XV was the first decent game in the series.
yeah it's the best game
It's there any bonus to putting the work in for things like the special summons, dark aeons, celestial weapons, other super bosses? It's not like there's any additional story is there? I can't see myself ever being able to dodge all the lightning or do all the blitzball.
>I can't see myself ever being able to dodge all the lightning or do all the blitzball
So just don't use Wakka or Lulu.
optional stuff in final fantasy games is always make-work for autists
NOW
THIS IS IT
Auron bringing that hype
I still think about that scene time to time. Everyone saying their quips. Yunalesca and her theme was so badass
LET ME BE YOUR LIBERATOR
those trials were so much easier than I remembered when I replayed this game a few years ago (and yes I had forgotten the solutions, it had been like 15+ years since I'd last played it).
My fav part of the game is benching Lulu for Yuna once she gets black magic.
I want to goo on Rikku
>hating Lulu
cringe
i love ffx and love goth girls, but something about lulu just doesnt do it for me.
misa amane or any of nomuras modern goth girl designs are far sexier, like yotsuyu
she's better than pein. Lulu is goth but also has features that show her island heritage. Pretty well done if you ask me.
lulu > rikku > yuna
rikku >>>>>>>>> lulu >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> yuna
dona > rikku > yuna > lulu
always cracked me up how they just removed Lulu and replaced with her an inferior goth chick in X-2.
Its not her fault she's in a wacky game
beat my meat so fricking much to this animation as a kid goddamn, bout to do it again for old times sake.
-oddamn amazing and full of SOUL
GO NOW
IF YOU WANT IT
THE OTHERWORLD AWAITS YOU
DONT YOU
GIVE UP ON IT
YOU BITE THAT HAND THAT FEEDS YOU
Go now, into the dust, and the sand, and the sky.
There is no better plan than "To Do, or To Die.
withyunabymyside
X is garbage. There's no good FF after IX. XII is particularly disgusting.
homie nine is like a cheap beer between the between the psychedelic that is FF8 and the pound of weed that is FFX
Nothing is insecure than a person who's favorite FF is 9.
FFX has its good moments but yes in general
Without hironobu the current games aren't FF games anymore
I'm playing 9 right now for the first time. I get hot and cold about it - sometimes it's the coziest game I've ever played, other times I'm scratching my head why this plot is even continuing. Iit's pretty much an idiot plot right now as Garnet just left with Steiner to Burmecia, the obvious thing is to muster the entire party to return to fight Brahne while Cid sends a detachment to Burmecia, but everyone is acting stupid and now my party is a literal roving circus freak show...

Everything makes sense in the end, but 9 does have some pacing issues.
I have no idea why Freya joined the party.
Burmecia is her hometown and she wants to do what she can to help
Sure, but why did she even enter Garnet's chamber to join the hunting festival to begin with?We bumped into each other in town and that was that. Next thing I know I'm competing with her.

She's an old friend of Zidane.
Even with FFX's lows, its still a better game than most modern JRPGs.
>playing the demaster
ngmi
>Seymour had mommy issues
>I have mommy issues
Therefore I am le'based
>villain is mixed race and completely unhinged
what did they mean by this
Yuna is also mixed
