I usually use my skill to get Nebula, pop it then go in an enemy group to cause some chaos, and if there's a big ass chokepoint or DRK cheesing it I LB.
I'm talking frontier cause I don't really give a frick about the other PvP modes, much as I realize how much of a shitshow frontier is, I still want to perform better but I feel like I'm missing out massively on shenanigans here.
if you're being genuine, don't play GNB in frontlines play WAR or DRK in frontlines if you want to really contribute WAR can single out people for your team and they can primal rend stun whole teams and be CC immune with their ult so they can be annoying or escape DRK is good but requires LB and CC communication to combo with their salted earth succ PLD can be annoying with its insane mit and invuln LB, it also has a targeted attack that makes your teams attacks heal them....but anyone with a modicum of intelligence is going to just ignore the PLD and then they're useless GNB is like a gorilla that flails its arms in PVP, it's not very good at anything

When you take a tower, you can get a color debuff or you can get no color debuff, this determines if you're going to the opposite color tower or if you're taking the same color tower again
Just make sure that when you take a tower with someone, you tether and resolve the debuff, it makes a sound

The explanation for how the debuff works is more complicated than the strat. Basically the 1 and 2 debuffs are stacks of unstable factor. If you finish the mechanic with stacks you explode so you need to get rid of them. When you go in proximity with another factor they are added, divided and rounded down.

the lack of midcore content is very real and it's been especially bad in Endwalker with the lack of forays or any extra extreme trials. there has to be something that's a fine balance point between a boring dungeon where you can get hit by everything and survive and a savage raid where one untimely person getting clipped by an aoe spiraling into a partywide wipe. mechanics like thrice come ruin or stuff with more personal responsibility that doesn't punish the group could achieve that
and the raid design is getting pretty stale. it's all just clock spots, light parties, debuff timer vomit and limit cuts with this tier's special flavor being partner stacks

there is no point in doing that. the mechanism already exists via steadily increasing the echo over the course of multiple patches. gear is just that with extra steps
they could increase the echo by like 1% every 2 weeks or so to simulate gearing up and the fights becoming easier each week. of course they won’t because grinding for gear keeps people subbed
If the only midcore content they can shit out anymore is that garbage new deep dungeon and the c/v dungeon then they may as well not make anymore. They shouldn't make anymore ultimates either since morons just cheat at them and sell them for money

I usually use my skill to get Nebula, pop it then go in an enemy group to cause some chaos, and if there's a big ass chokepoint or DRK cheesing it I LB.
I'm talking frontier cause I don't really give a frick about the other PvP modes, much as I realize how much of a shitshow frontier is, I still want to perform better but I feel like I'm missing out massively on shenanigans here.

play WAR or DRK in frontlines if you want to really contribute
WAR can single out people for your team and they can primal rend stun whole teams and be CC immune with their ult so they can be annoying or escape
DRK is good but requires LB and CC communication to combo with their salted earth succ
PLD can be annoying with its insane mit and invuln LB, it also has a targeted attack that makes your teams attacks heal them....but anyone with a modicum of intelligence is going to just ignore the PLD and then they're useless
GNB is like a gorilla that flails its arms in PVP, it's not very good at anything

>long color white or red
>short color white or red
Once you understand that, it's much easier to understand what you do ahead of time and react

Aether uses this for PF. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to stay or go and I don't know what people mean when they say you change if your debuff changes. Do they mean the squally line changes?
When you take a tower, you can get a color debuff or you can get no color debuff, this determines if you're going to the opposite color tower or if you're taking the same color tower again
Just make sure that when you take a tower with someone, you tether and resolve the debuff, it makes a sound

The explanation for how the debuff works is more complicated than the strat. Basically the 1 and 2 debuffs are stacks of unstable factor. If you finish the mechanic with stacks you explode so you need to get rid of them. When you go in proximity with another factor they are added, divided and rounded down.
So then when people say "if your debuff changes" they mean the white and black color?

SE obviously agrees with me because they massively changed the savage loot system this tier by making every coffer drop, P11S drop chest pieces and accessories only require 3 books
the lack of midcore content is very real and it's been especially bad in Endwalker with the lack of forays or any extra extreme trials. there has to be something that's a fine balance point between a boring dungeon where you can get hit by everything and survive and a savage raid where one untimely person getting clipped by an aoe spiraling into a partywide wipe. mechanics like thrice come ruin or stuff with more personal responsibility that doesn't punish the group could achieve that
and the raid design is getting pretty stale. it's all just clock spots, light parties, debuff timer vomit and limit cuts with this tier's special flavor being partner stacks
I heard someone say that the 24 mans should drop gear with an ilvl equivalent to the raid gear as an alternate gearing method

there is no point in doing that. the mechanism already exists via steadily increasing the echo over the course of multiple patches. gear is just that with extra steps
they could increase the echo by like 1% every 2 weeks or so to simulate gearing up and the fights becoming easier each week. of course they won’t because grinding for gear keeps people subbed

Started thinking this when I learned club penguin did their writing this way by leaving lots of easy outs or different solutions so if players didn't respond well to something they didn't have to keep with it. Like by making the bad guys first reveal being just his fur so they could retcon him before the reveal if people didn't like him.
