Yep. Plus the special dungeons in boz are hard enough to be engaging, but not dominated by raidtrannies that ruin “serious” content. Hunt train shout chat also feels like the old days. it depends on if you check logs. the title itself is largely meaningless but there is some merit if you have, say, logs of top on-patch, that aren't hidden and aren't with saus or rmters

The pixie one bothers me the least because they're the reincarnated souls of dead children, boys and girls. I was told they're still supposed to be gender neutal in JP, but since they have gendered language like most non-english languages, it comes across as only feminine. Dragons being aliens is fine, and I don't really have an issue with it, but the scene in 6.1 did feel forced since its just like "we're different btw, but I still call them sisters and brothers". As if the WoL was not aware Middy birthed his own eggs at all.

My man I have 100 wins. It’s legit horrible, because of how the map works you know the game is over in the first 2 minutes with the first opp spawn. If for example one team takes a tower and the other doesn’t, the game is legit over. There is zero percent chances for comebacks to happen because advantage gives you more map control which gives you more resources which puts more pressure on the map which gives you zero resources. When I was doing my 100 win grind there was even people who just let end because of this.

And that’s just the honest version, if I was dishonest I could say it’s over in the first 30 seconds. But the team that wins mid (not gobbiejuice of course) first only wins about 80% of the time rather than 100% the team that wins first push.

Any EX that demands a bodycheck is objectively harder by virtue that one mistake wipes the group where in Thordan it's all individual aoes, tethers, the rest of the party doesn't need to worry if you die or not. There's a wild charge in the second half, but that's kinda it. It's all bait/spread/gaze which everyone has seen a million times by bow

Their all mechanically piss easy compared to what we put up with now, all of their difficulty came from how much more difficult jobs used ot be

the thing is, thordan has a tight dps check, in fact thordan was the first fight where healers realized they needed to dps
golbez ex has no dps check that i've seen, i will also add that i think body checks all the time are cheap in any fight, having the ability to recover and squeeze out as much damage even with weakness is far more engaging than black screen because the moronic faerie monk was confused about which one is south and which one is north

It's funny because they really don't and JP players are often confused why changes are made or things are added that they didn't ask for. CBU3 does things on their own and the regions point fingers at each other, although cross-region being on hold is most likely because of JP in this instance. I still think it's gonna happen, the <Voyager> is in the files as of 6.4 and they never add things they don't intended to use.

xiv actually has real fan q and a's, they just do them in other places and always only with the japanese playerbase. remember that lalafell that gave yoshida a hard time about third party mods during the streaming q and a where they all stood inside labyrinth of ancients to organise the queue and stuff?

yeah. they did end up asking some (relatively) spicy questions that made yoshida do double takes too. i don't think they'll do that in a live event though, it's strange but they seem to think that it's ok to have less corporate and more loose events during these random ass livestreams than things like fanfes
