Probably WAR, since few buttons. The challenge with controller isn't that it might be difficult, it's that you can legit run out of space with the most button filled jobs, or at least have to place them so inaccesible you effectively forget to ever use them.
at level 90 all warrior abilities + sprint/lb/tincture is 33 slots, controller maxes at 32. controller gays are griefing and don't hit all their buttons while also having to deal with slower targeting

fight the same 4 ballbusting bosses for 8 weeks for meaningless gear that gets invalidated in the next major patch (unless you need the gear to do 1 super ultimate ballbusting boss rush that exists only for bragging rights, and even then, only if you want to do that boss rush the moment it comes out so you can brag that you did it on release)
farm 7 easymode not-so-ballbusting bosses for cosmetic mounts that are functionally exactly the same as your company chocobo and possibly even worse since at least the chocobo can be customized
farm a glorified ballbusting boss rush but instead of 8players it’s 4players and sell the mount for money. yes the mount is also functionally identical to your chocobo. there is also a more ballbusting version that exists only for bragging rights

dr normal - make a pf for 8 players. then just queue for it. it will pop after a 10min timer regardless of if it fills to 24 and you will gain an echo buff that’s stronger the less people you have. from what i heard, 5 players is actually optimal if they know what they’re doing, you should do 8 if you cannot guarantee the quality of the players though
dr savage - you will need to join a discord. on aether, it’s lego steppers. they will post announcements of scheduled runs and they have channels and pins that tell you what loadout to bring + mechanics guides. look for anyprog runs, which welcome players at any prog point. runs are by and large first-come-first-serve, the pf opens up at the scheduled time and whoever clicks on it and types in the password fastest gets in
the raid leader will do callouts based on the guides posted so you should read those. you are expected to attempt to do your job and then floortank as a newbie. if you are lucky, you might even get carried to a clear since the raid is extremely powercreeped today. most anyprog runs wipe at trinity avowed, if you clear that, you will usually clear the entire thing

They need to go really ham with the difficulty in DawnTrail OR at least give a hardmode/ Savage version of Alliance raids. They're too easy after the first week because people overgear them, know the mechanics and even in minimumIlevel it's just too easy.

I finished the PvP season and I still don't understand how most jobs work in this mode. How the frick do SAM and NIN one shot people?
sam LB oneshots an opponent that hits into chiten
NIN LB oneshots an opponent below 50% HP
sam's LB is a line AOE that can hit multiple people if they've hit into chiten
nin LB can chain to multiple people if they are below 50%, but there's a timer that loses a second each time they chain

it's much worse because of the compression, but after a while you barely look at the center of the screen in pvp
the big things in order are the DRK pull, the AST dual gravity, the zantetsuken, the RDM line AoE, microcosmos from an AST, and a SMN aoe on the ground at the end
