The game is apparently already playable from beginning to end and the remaining year until its release will be used for polishing.
I don't know if this is yoshiP perfectionist autism or the game has tons of bugs, performance issues, or shitty AI they are trying to fix.
Either way, seems like it will be solid.
never been a found of FF gameplay but I do understand the appeal and respect the series for what it is, but when I look at 16.. as a new comer I feel its .. soulless, like its not a final fantasy game anymore
Yoshi made an remarkably bland and stale game in XIV. He seems quite resistant to risk taking unless SE is hamstringing him, but I don't get that impression from the live letter streams they publish.
If he takes that attitude to this game, I'm sure it'll be fine. Just an ok game, but not something that'll make the top 3.
that's all I want. I don't want something ground breaking, just a decent quality game that doesn't feel like early access at day 1, like what happened with XV
my problem with ff action games is that the enemies are not designed to be in them, there designs are jumbled messes that become really hard to tell what is going on, and mostly rely on status and aliment effects.
Imagine DMC but every enemy can either stun, sleep, slow or frick with dantes abilities. This was my man issue with stranger of paradise.
Maybe we'll get some shit to talk about at TGS. Until then, all we're getting are bait, shitposting and barry threads. Now go back to playing other video games.
They went from being a trendsetter to chasing trends.
Its so clear they started development during peak Game of thrones. The producer even praised the show lol
I dont even care about graphics, they are the same sice ps3 anyway.
I just want a game with innovative gameplay,
a design vision instead of 3rd world assets and a good story.
FF16 is beyond salvation, just make something else and let the series die gracefully already.
>Hopes?
cool battle system
cool world
fun story >Fears?
boring political shit in bong language that makes me fall asleep like FFXII
shitty boring music >Expectations?
fun in general but still a scholck of a story
VI is always going to be my favorite I think. It's hard to beat such a large cast, most at least decently developed, with such a memorable villain. I think they did a fantastic job at telling the story without forcing an absolute main character on you.
I hope it's good, and so far I think it's looking really good. But they've shown so little it's impossible to tell. It could easily go either way still.
Although I think there's an extremely low chance of it releasing as a train wreck like 15 did. I feel like with the dev team on it the worst case scenario is that it's a kind of middling title, but competently made. So still fun and worth playing.
barry lost
>Hopes?
Its fun
>Fears
Its not fun
>Expectations?
Fun
PC release or it's DOA
Thumbnail makes it look like he's showing off is abs. lmao.
Even if it sucks I'll buy it to spite the XVgay(s). Unless it's not on PC or EGS exclusive
interested but not buying it day 1 interested

I feel this game would be an awful experience for both FF fans & "younger audiences"
Why'd you say that anon
never been a found of FF gameplay but I do understand the appeal and respect the series for what it is, but when I look at 16.. as a new comer I feel its .. soulless, like its not a final fantasy game anymore
>never played an FF but NEW GAME bad because muh OLD GAME GOOD
you're a hipster
It has the same atmosphere as the Matsuno games and FFXIV. It's basically Vagrant Story 2.
>basically Vagrant Story 2
I wish
>Hopes?
It's good
>Fears?
EGS homosexualry
>Expectations?
EGS homosexualry
Nomura isn't involved so I don't expect EGS homosexualry
Don't really care. I just really dislike whenever FF goes for that edgy aesthetic.

That's probably their best bet anyways. Another miserable game like XV would really kill the franchise's image.
I'm hoping that it will be great, but if it is at least a solid entry that helps rebuild the brand then Yoshida has done his job.
Doesn’t seem intriguing. If the characters aren’t well developed and likeable I probably won’t enjoy it that much
I’m hyped for it. I enjoyed ffxv even though it isn’t a good game. I hope they release ff16 on ps4
Is this game going to be about crystals, l’cie, ivalice or it’s own thing
Every FF game is about crystals.

Looks kinda Kool but I need to see more gameplay. I will say I am interested
There's nothing to talk about.
I love you lilisette.
True I just wanted to talk about it since it crossed my mind
Maybe we'll get some shit to talk about at TGS. Until then, all we're getting are bait, shitposting and barry threads. Now go back to playing other video games.

How far back in FF do you have to go to find a good story?
X
best ff waifu
There's only been one.
Theres a lot of cool stories.
FFV, FFVI, FFVII, FFIX, FFX to begin with

Easy god tier game
