And even if it's sincere, it doesn't matter. No journalist knows anything about games, journalists are subhuman and their opinions do not deserve respect.
How do you even make a "ranked games" list for the public anyway? Is a gigantic medium attending bazillions of different tastes and genres and the whole "revolutionary for it's time" argument

Impressively garbage, maybe. Anyone with a Witcher title in their top 1000 list either hasn't played a thousand games, or is a fricking subhuman.
The mark of a fantastic game isn't how few flaws it has, it's how well it overcomes and mitigates those flaws via the presence of its strengths. That's how people come to truly love games, those flaws just endear it further as things to remember it by.
