One thing that annoys me about Rimworld is the fact the dev is keen to sit on his ass and just sell dlc, and not actually add more stuff that mods can't do. Like a bettter UI? Like seriously, why is Rimworld UI tolerated? Rimworld is popular now, the ui should've been improved years ago.

Buildings are premade, customization is limited to decorations. According to the devs this is because it's based on a city builder, not a colony simulator.

From the video and what I'm seeing they all have doors facing south, and all buildings come prebuilt, no custom building like in Rimworld.

This is not a colony sim, you cant build custom buildings. It's a "city builder" with politics. The rimworld aesthetic is just to trick people into thinking its like rimworld.
