Campaign is boring and repetitive, nuCortana is ugly and annoying, the open world doesn't do Halo any favors, graphics are worse than Halo 4, the music is alright but nothing compared to Marty/Michaels stuff. It's all around just an 'okay' game, nothing special. That's it really.
Don't know if you were alive for Halo's heyday but Halo was fricking huge dude, it paved the way for console LAN parties and had a massive online community started with Halo 2. The campaigns are much more focused and memorable, the music is top notch and the gunplay is solid and fun. It was definitely something special. But nothing lasts forever and Halo seems to have reached it's peak back with Halo Reach.
It hasn't been halos heyday since 2007. The series never evolved or tried anything new and because of that it got surpassed in popularity quickly by games like cod and all these new school free to play shooters. People born in 2000 or later don't give a shit about Halo and don't play it
Halo was only popular in USA (only place in the world where people owned an Xbox) and even then COD quickly overtook it.
Halo gameplay is mediocre, slow and boring. Also i5 has insane aimbot and bullet mag. Only 1 weapon worth using per game.
The online aspect was the only thing carrying it.
>CoD surpassed it quickly
CoD only surpassed it with the release of Modern Warfare 2, which was released nearly 3 years after Halo 3's launch (Halo games released 3 years apart back then) and Halo 3 was still at the top of the most-played charts for the full 3 years.

even if you go into the menus and completely disable auto aim it still does it the second i purposefully aimed a headshot too high and still made it i stopped playing
The open world sucked because there is only one biome and it's there only to fill it with ubisoft style busy work. I'd much rather have open levels like Halo always had. I unironically enjoyed Halo 5 more than Infinite.
doesnt live up to rose tinted glasses expectations

the halo franchise in a nutshell

>What's the problem exactly?
Your distinct lack of taste.
even if you go into the menus and completely disable auto aim it still does it the second i purposefully aimed a headshot too high and still made it i stopped playing
>he doesn't know what bullet drop is
i was way too high and close for bullet drop and a little off center
>500 million dollars
>1 biome
>a bunch of copypasted structures everywhere
>expecting Ganker to do anything but b***h, moan, and coom
>She doesn't blow a bubble
You fricking homosexual why would you do this to me
The game is shit but it made Halo threads active again so I guess I can thank it for that
The open world sucked because there is only one biome and it's there only to fill it with ubisoft style busy work. I'd much rather have open levels like Halo always had. I unironically enjoyed Halo 5 more than Infinite.
I like Halo
Damn she's got a nice fat halo
-1 biomes
-so like what are the new vehicles, a warthog that you can put a gun on the back?
-teammate AI don't drive vehicles
-we finally get an open world map and you can't drive a pelican
-no Scarab battles
-even more stupid moronic enemies and another set of eviler enemies aka the banished.
-Stupid story
-no cutscenes with the Marines other than the pilot
-where is all the wildlife they promised
-no flood
-should have been Halo 4
-Phantoms actually don't blow up into parts they just pop
-multiplayer is dead and there's hardly any content
-no Co-op/Forge/Firefighter/ or a better ver of Spartan Ops at launch
-multiplayer is doing so poor that they're trying to add microtransactions in the Master Chief Collection
-combat ring for co-op
-no split screen for single playercampaign co-op
-no ability to replay missions at launch
-main menu for some reason heats up your computer like a motherfuker compared to actually playing the game.
-343
sorry meant to say that Endless not Banished
also forgot to mention the Mass Effect Andromeda faces that Cortana has
it's the best halo game after 1-3 easily
