I liked Johnny as a character, but I think the relationship with V is a lot more interesting when it's contentious rather than if the player just chooses to suck up to him. I like that you can agree with points that he makes but still call him out for being a piece of shit.

They often even refuse corporate study programs because there's nothing to gain from it.
This is why Panam speaks so clearly and in a sophisticated manner, actual proper education.

I played it this month and I liked it too, but 4 years later and it's still janky. Collision with vehicles is really bad, every time I use mirror in my apartment the mirror reflects weapon in my hand as V is rubbing his face with said hand and enemy weapons often get stuck in mid air or in terrain after I kill them.
I still find the talk of CDPR "redemption" bullshit. Having a cool game 4 years after release is not something that should be celebrated.

That's true. I actually like Cyberpunk more than the Witcher 3. It's more commercially accessible to the masses. I didn't experience the same level of boredom that I did in Witcher 3 playthroughs.
Cyberpunk speaks to us more because we're already living in a prologue to a cyberpunk dystopia and we're heading there at full steam. Just yesterday I though how insane it is that I have a pocket supercomputer which can get me all the information I need almost instantly, headphones that charge from a small case in my pocket, how I'm wearing small lenses on my eyes, that give me perfect vision and filter out blue spectrum to make it easy on the eyes, and I'm also paying for subway with a small electronic keychain. All the while being monitored by cameras with facial and walking patterns recognition at every corner and bombarded by the ads everywhere.
Cp77 might not be an absolute masterpice people hoped for, but it's a very solid game after all the patches and fixing. Cyberpunk universe however is a masterpiece of world building and has enormous potential. Thank God the whole IP was saved by the anime.

Now I cant play the game without thinking of how many mercs have had their lives brutally cut short in night city while trying to chase some grand dream. It also gives some context on why V is so desperate in wanting to live or be a legend.
These mercs like Maine's team are similar to those poor fricks V kills while working for NCPD. Maine's crew never stood a chance against the major leagues legends like Adam Smasher, Morgan Blackhand, Kenichi Zaburo or Alt Cunningham.
