SDR2 was a really wild ride on a first playthrough but I've had less than 0 interest in ever going back to it, whereas I frequently get the urge to jump back into and think more about DR1 and V3
Basically every mystery is easy as shit throughout because they force all the evidence onto you almost every trial before you ever get to the courtroom. Unlike something like AA where the prosecutors themselves have their own evidence, you just know everything beforehand so if you're looking to actually try and solve the mystery instead of just playing to the game's emotional beats you're just stuck wading through terrible arguments for hours on end until they finally get to the one decisive piece of evidence which you could've brought up from the beginning. The only trial that really beats this problem is 3-4 because for once DRV3's themes actually were effective in that no one in the courtroom wanted to believe that Gonta could commit the crime, so it was both satisfying and dejecting to prove that it had to be him.
