>haha yes its just a trial 😉
>actually kills your army and acts like nothing happened afterwards
what the heck is wrong with the emblems?
>haha yes its just a trial 😉
>actually kills your army and acts like nothing happened afterwards
what the heck is wrong with the emblems?
They didn't think about it
Lucina being a stupid cancerous c**t is nothing new.
True but what about the other 11 emblems?
Ike is a serious buisness guy, doesnt frick around. Byleth doesnt give a shit, has thee face of a fricking serial killer. Miccy was always an butthole.
Everyone else is just being dumbasses. Definately makes sense for Celica, Erika, and Corrin.
>Ike is a serious buisness guy
He's still generally a good natured person though I can't see him killing someone for no reason
If they fail the trail, they don't deserve to live
It was just a test, bro. If you die, you failed, simple as that.
a bit counter intuitive dont you think?
I WANT TO GET OFF MR. FUGA'S WILD RIDE
Old game mechanics clashing with stupid modern writing tropes.
Why did she do it?
Why is Ruki like this bros...
more like rukillna
She murdered her with a smile on her face.
That doesn't look like a smile
Death is only what losers deserve
Can her corpse be used as Cute onahole then? Framme should serve divine dragon's dick even after death.
Huh, that's actually pretty neat that characters have post-map quotes if someone they care about dies.
Jesus
>Kills her own father in a friendly arena tournament
Nothing personnel
What's her problem?
I actually never realized that units have special dialogue on the map depending on if someone died.
I'm honestly surprised they put in the effort when they know that people just reset if somebody dies these days.
Given that you didn't know that, you might also be interested to learn that path of radiance has massive branching dialogue paths for what happens when characters who speak in the story and various base conversations die. It can result in some pretty dark shit if you let one of the brothers die, for example.
SoV did it first
>SoV did it before PoR
bruh
>PoR did it before FE7
Bruh
I'm mostly joking, but what sticks out to me is that if Matthew is dead when they find Leila's body, he's buried next to her. It's a nice touch for stuff like that[/spoilier]
Why do you talk like me? Are you me?
I just woke up, I can't type for shit today.
SoV had something similar.
hatefrick Lucina
>"That was a great fight, Allear! I feel like we really connected, you know? Oh, by the way, you know that 10 year old kid you picked up from some backwater town? I killed him, Allear. I plunged my sword into him like it was fricking nothing, Allear, in his last moments he wept bitter tears and cursed you for bringing him into this war, Allear. Did you see him die, Allear? No? I thought not, you were preoccupied I suppose, even though you can literally turn back time and erase his death... or at least you could. It is too late for that now Allear, his death has been sealed, and it is all your fault. How will you explain this to his little shithole pisswater village I wonder?"
>"Anyways, great fight, lets do it again some time!"
What the FRICK was his problem?
Classic Marth. You should know by now that's the price of accessing a paralogue.
The most in character Marth's been in years.
Thanks, IS.
They come back at the end of the battle though?
>He played on Casual mode
They dont
Pussy
Get those disgusting prostitutes away from Ephraim, he's only got eyes for his sister
L'archel*
>3HRT cant cope with units dying
Chapter 11 is bullshit
The emblems in general are really casual about fights to the death. It's kind of the same with Advance Wars where the generals act like sending legions of troops to their death is fun playtime.
I mean, all of them have been through wars of their own so they're probably pretty desensitized to it at this point. When you're a metaphysical copy of somebody (that knows you're a copy, no less) who has barely any free will of your own outside of very few moments, it's easy to believe you'd stop having a conscience about shit like that. Ephraim had the right idea, just hang out in the ring until it's time to fight and then go back. Stop trying to socialize with sociopaths.
>Solm - Italian deserts
>Elusia - Plants
>Brodia - Gems
>The Four Hounds - Colors
>Firene- Regular French names
How come Firene didn't get a quircky theme?
firene is more like a mix of english and french name
french: louis, celine, boucheron, jean
english: alfred, etie, chloe
Etie is a french name
I've never known anyone with that name in my entire life
Only Alfred is English and it wouldn't be weird to see a French person having that name. Chloe is a Greek name (seen plenty of French Chloe too) and Etie is made up but the closest origin would be Greek too.
i hate lucina so much
Same. I love flatties but somehow I can't like Lucina.
Same I honestly don't even know why
Very telling how the Awakening trial map was a big empty square
They really could have picked anything else but I guess that's the perfect representation of awakening
The majority of Awakening is like that.
Its most (and only) iconic map is only remembered for the story context and the boss being sympathetic.
>Defending japanise """writing"""
Who's defending it?
Why didn't Alear use the Draconic Time Crystal to save King Moron? His death even happened before the chapter instead of after, so you can't even say Alear is just a shitter who used up all the charges like say with Sombron laser'ing them in 21-22.
Its a canon event
Allear is red and blue just like spiderman what a coincidence
Has anyone noticed how the characters casual clothes can lean more modern-ish?
Specially Framme.
tbh I wish we could get a game with a more steampunk or magitech setting.
Didn't 3H have an I.C.B.M?
At some point they're going to make a modern FE.
I'm joking of course, they already made it. It was called Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.
>steampunk or magitech setting
God I wish
That's just a big bow
It's self-propelled, isn't it? It has to be moved by some primitive engine or enchantment of sort.
Self-propelled by a person’s self.
I don't see how. Flintstones style? Or some sort of crank the operator inside has to move with ungodly strength to roll it forward? I can't imagine that thing being light enough for the latter, and too impractical for the former.
Thinking on it, maybe an ingenious pedal system with a gearbox like a bicycle could work, but still, it might be too heavy to be moved by one operator alone.
>move with ungodly strength to roll it forward?
Fe characters seem to be stronger than regular humans
they put zero effort into the story and characters this time around, just mash skip through all of the dialogue
I like the support conversations
What’s funny is that Skirmishes that are actually Training battles (like in a city with the nation’s army), the perma-death is turned off.
>the perma-death is turned off.
Is it really?
Yep, if it says "Training!" then there is no perma-death even if you're on Classic.
I've never done a skirmish so I never noticed
Honestly, it's like any of the recent ones where the only units you'll want to deploy just a unit that can solo everything and skip the turns, since the dozens of enemies just bum rush your party.
At least with Awakening and Houses, you could partner up a secondary unit to level them up also.
I've never seen these. It it a "hard" more thing?
Ah correct. Maddening doesn’t have Skirmishes or such right?
It does, they're just rare
It does, but it's a shitload rarer to the point of barely existing. On fixed, I think there's a guaranteed one at some point but they outscale you pretty bad.
Aren't you guaranteed to get 3 or something?
Does this break the sanctity of an Ironman, anons?
Yes
What's funny is that if you do a training skirmish (they spawn on castle tiles), allies that are KOed do not die even on Classic. They could have easily programmed it the same way for Emblem trials but it would ruin strategy in these battles since you can sacs units without repercussions. In other words, it's moronic.
>map not even from her own game
>it's the most cancerous map in another game
what the frick was HER problem?
Plains.
Ribbi Flats
I remember this bugging me in Sengoku Basara when you fight Toshie who's supposed to treat his troops like family, then you kill thousands and he just completely ignores it.
I love him so much despite being responsible for everything that goes down in this game.
>loved awakening
>enjoyed conquest
>liked echoes
>3H is my favorite
>even had a great time with both FE warriors
and yet I cannot seem to justify giving engage a shot. something very off-putting about a mainline game bringing back mcs from previous titles I guess. is it fun?
It is more fun that 3H and on par with Fates for gameplay.
>>3H is my favorite
Skip engage
Bro? Your pre-Awakening FE?
Remember when Awakening brought back previous lords
>Remember when Awakening brought back previous lords
And fates
If you enjoyed all of those, you'll enjoy Engage.
