Break mechanics are pretty neat. It makes weapon and class choices very relevant.
Engage and super skills are over the top. It does offer a great way to play test a ton of mechanics and see what plays well and what doesn't.

The rings struggle to be destinct from each other.
The Corrin ring lets you make terrain whereever you want, which makes map design completely pointless.
Also the low movement feels clunky.
