I dunno, I feel like Atk Smoke 4 is important to the build since it gives him Anti-Follow Up. Though Seal Atk 4 would still work with that.

Is there something I'm missing here? I get not giving the Arcane weapon to multiple units restriction but seems to me Rearmed units can't be foddered out of your barracks entirely.
One of the main gimmicks for Rearmed Heroes is that they don't go away after inheriting their skills, but you can't fodder them anymore unless you merge into another fresh copy (as in, you didn't fodder that one either)
Which is why Formotiis was a shit pick for AHR

Once you fodder then they'll stay in your barracks unless you send them home(which is beyond stupid), also you can give a rearmed hero some rare skill (let's say far trace) and as long as you keep getting copies and merging the original copy into newer ones you can get a nearly infinite amount of far trace skills

I'd say panic smoke. Speed smoke isn't gonna help her survive anything she wasn't already going to survive, but panic smoke is better for an overall way of softening the enemy for the rest of your team too kill.
Panic smoke 4. V!Veronica lacks bulk and dodge isn't going to save her especially with how fast units are now. She is a player phase unit so panic smoke 4 is better since it can be used to help out allies.
Def/Res Smoke 3. She'll hit something, debuff and give herself Pathfinder.

When will Robin season ever end? Not sure if I'm crazy but it feels like L!M!Robin has been usable this entire month from him being a bonus unit to it being earth season.
With the combination of him and the new Arena score changes, I've gone down from hopping between T20-T21 to T18-T19. It's just not worth the headache for me anymore unless the bonus unit is someone I actually have invested in.

The thing with vanilla Yuri is that he could insta-charge Lethality every round with SS4/TP4, and his movement gimmicks were built into his weapon. Meanwhile, L!Yuri has all the movement gimmicks in his PRF C Slot, so he can't do all the things that made vanilla Yuri so dangerous.
Worse yet, L!Yuri has no form of Desperation or (if his Special isn't up) Anti-DR, and he's made of glass. Any unit who can take the first hit is going to turn around and smash him into the floor.

He's the same as the original Yuri, but red, and stall doesn't frick him over. He's fricking stupid and anyone saying otherwise is a moron.
He also has built in Null Follow-Up (the bypassing follow-up denial part at least), gets some true damage, and can even get some DR himself if he has to exchange blows
Because his mobility comes from his C skill, he actually can't use Time's Pulse to help precharge Lethality, which is something the original Yuri still has over him
Time's Pulse + Duo and regular Askr makes for some very fun, insta Lethality plays, and if you bring him back to the two bull gods after attacking, he can precharge it again for the next turn
Otherwise, Legendary Yuri seems better overall, with better innate combat capabilities and better mobility, but the point remains: a very dumb, super mobile unit

Should, but no reason to use it since it'd just be a 2 damage increase which is far worse than using a typical Atk/Spd boosting A skill like Solo or Blade Session.

What are everyone's thoughts on Harm./Duo weapon refines so far? Do you think they are great how they are or should have gotten better treatment especially the ones with lackluster duo/harm. skills. I personally think they should have gotten better refines and so far none stand out among the refine batches they came from. I personally fear Duo Alphonse isn't going to be that great because so far refines for duos have been effectively Omni +8 stats and a lackluster ability.
Hector and Ephraim's were nothing special, but Altina's was good enough for a DC dual phase brave weapon, while Duo Marth got a top tier refine.
It's anyone's guess wether Alfonse will get something good, but it's hard to imagine him becoming as strong as NY Askr.
The only thing I can see Alphonse getting is maybe a tempo effect, extra stats, and/or breath effect. I hope his refine isn't mid I really used to enjoy using him when he was introduced.
I used to use him a lot too, so I'd love it if he got some decent effects. Here's what I'm thinking:

>At the start of turn 1, grants -1 Special cooldown count to unit

I feel like those are all simple but hopefully still good changes for him.
Quickened Pulse means that with Time's Pulse, he can precharge Open the Future just by himself, no Duo button required (which would then be for if something messes up his Special loops), and then he'd get more stats, a follow-up attack, and some DR for good measure, since he's supposed to be tanky and all.

Instead of this I'd rather them:

Whoops, forgot my explanation. Only reason I'd change the reduce damage on first hit is because that is only really useful on speedy units on slow units it wouldn't really work especially with most modern units pretty much have null follow-up or a guaranteed follow-up on top of being faster than Duo!Alphonse so they'd block his foe cannot make a follow-up attack effect just by being faster.
I just pitched 30% DR since I just wasn't sure if they'd be willing to give the Def based true damage and reduction to Duo Alfonse, even if that is a better change overall. Even Askr only gets 20% on both for his. Maybe 15% for Alfonse?
I'm just hoping Bantu gets anything that gives him some sort of niche, I've been waiting forever to see what he might get before investing too much in him. I really like both him and Tiki but it's hard to ever find a reason to use him with how redundant another red dragon is. I'd be happy if he had some decent support function or something like Nah.

I actually found it easier than usual this week. Literally got in by accident off of mid 750s.
the cutoffs were lower than usual this week, in fact, for t21 stay, 3870 was the EXACT cutoff (someone in the competitive FEH discord checked at 15 seconds left in the season and saw this, then reported back with a crown a few minutes later). FGrima not being a very popular legendary unit definitely contributed to the lowered scores, but I expect once we get a new legendary that is popular as a bonus (not counting new ones) that the cutoffs will go back to moronic levels.

This may sound a bit stupid but I usually have a soft spot for characters that I like even though the art is meh/doesn't fit. I don't think Lucina's resplendent art is bad but it definitely doesn't fit her.
Autism over Kakage art and I don't really like Azura (out of the main cast of fates she gets on my nerves the most) is my reasoning. Usually I'd let resplendents slide even if its not my favorite but for some reason Azuras' resplendent ticked me off. One of Kakages worst art for FEH and on a character I don't really like? No thanks. Maybe a bit of an overreaction considering I have her other alts despite me not liking her (she's kinda pretty, sue me) but I'm sticking with it now, its to satiate my autism. Correct me if I’m wrong but with the right and a somewhat unlikely set up Mark could make a unit have effectively -19 in Speed and Defense and -29 for Attack and Resistance. For example say Keaton has no way to prevent penalties or reduce them and have +7 in every stat at then end of player phase. During the enemy phase Keaton gets hit by Panic Ploy before Mark starts combat so then he has -7. Mark starts combat then duplicates those penalties during combat and adds -5 so effectively -19 in all stats then Sabotage A/R 3 adds -10 to Keatons Attack and Resistance for effectively -29 while Speed and Defense has -19.

Lyn is kinda stretching the definition of backpack. Unless Wendee Lee is also voicing Mark, she gets all the spoken dialogue, and she's positioned in the front for the default artwork. It's a Lyn alt in all but name.
99% of what anyone's going to see while menu'ing and playing is the faceless dude. Also, getting 100% of voicelines with WenLee's performance as Lyn seems like a worse proposition than if it was just a 50%.

I do not understand why everyone is freaking out. The only way this would be more fitting for Mark as a character would be if he were the backpack or his weapon was using the FE7 command arrow to control Lyn. Would people even bat an eye if it were Eliwood that Mark was paired with?

Not sure. I don't have any outstanding Far Save tanks. My 2 main armors are Amelia and Halloween Myrrh. It seems a little funky to use anyway. Doesn't reduce damage on the attack a foe's special activates? Only the follow up after that? Myrrh already has 70% DR on second hits and Amelia is usually too fast to get doubled.

It used to be fun to build team comps around some synergy when kits weren't as complete. Stuff like Debuffs in book 1/2 didn't have much support.
Angry Ike was someone I wanted because it seemed like he could be fun paired with Thrasir/Lif to help debuff himself.
I feel envious whenever I see L!Eliwood in SD. It's going to be even worse now that his kid alt has a very similar prf C.

I haven't used mine much recently because lacking both NFU and some form of DR unless you roll for Remote Sparrow kind of hurts. She was definitely extremely fun when she first got her refine, though. I think she was the first one to get the "warp within 2 spaces of allies within 2 spaces" effect.

No, but you could probably do some fun stuff with it either way. It's a better grab than NFU seal, imo, since you can now run stuff like Tempo B skills with it.
It's good on some galeforce initiators for AR. Bring them below 50% HP to use them as WoM beacons with seasonal Bernies/bolt tower/traps, and they also get into desperation range. A brave weapon + nfu + desperation + some true damage can melt almost anything.
Having desperation as a seal opens up a lot of possibilities both for initiators and follow up units that have their B slot taken up by WoM.

SS4 fodder would have been the best thing for everyone. You'd get a good unit to keep even when foddered and everyone would have a unit of their choosing to give ignore enemy DR to but too bad a majority preferred unga boonga Edelgard 2.0. The playerbase chose a unit who will be easily powercrept in a month or 2 over fodder that is timeless. Never will understand them especially since SS4 helps to blow up Formortiis.

Powercrept to hell and back. That said, PvE is still enjoyable. PvP however you should do the absolute bare minimum for rewards because it's never worth investing time/money into.

The game evolved poorly. We now have units that can out right end your turn (Seiðr and Formortiis), a unit that outright negates specials by preventing their activation, and a unit that effectively gives unity to all allies but every turn. Beyond that the game is meh and same as you last played.

A lot of anons say the game's fine as long as you stay in PvE, which is true to some extent, but over half the game is still pseudo-PvP or sources units from other players anyways. Additionally new units basically come with mostly/fully PvP-optimized kits, so half the PvE maps will just be fighting some PvP powercreep anyways, except it has 90 HP now.

I was hoping for some sort of follow-up attack for Alfonse but the Def based true damage and reduction (almost exactly the same values as Askr's too, just 15% for the damage instead) is really nice, alongside extra stats and being able to null Fatal Smoke a little bit so he can still get healing

FEH feels stupidly expensive after going back to some old ass game I used to play and being able to buy good armor from the cash shop for $2. Bantu is sadly a glorified stat stick. His refine hardly fixed any of his issues such as no guaranteed follow-up despite middling speed. Started with debuff weapon and they made it sorta better with his Prf since he is guaranteed to debuff in combat but Omni -6 stats isn't too powerful nowadays by itself.

If you have Feh Pass (or are willing to get it when she's on a b8%), you can just get a minimum one copy every b8% she's on in the future. B8% sparking is definitely the best feature of Feh Pass.

Honestly both dragons and beast units need their own low cooldown specials. It sucks having only blue flame a rare special and aether a high cooldown special to use especially for arena or game mode that requires scoring high.

Which one is better for rerolling? The legendary heroes banner or the popular festival one?
The seasonal banner units are all top tier but legendary has better rates, you'll get more 5* by summoning full circles. The blue units there and Otr are kinda bad, but everyone else is great.
If you are starting you might want to use a crapton of orbs in the AHR banners
You might be able to get a +10 or 2 with story orbs

So I don't know how likely it is that I can get an answer here to help resolve my issue, but the new update is out and like multiple prior updates I get hit with the message that its no longer compatible with my device (as someone who plays on bluestacks) does anyone here play on bluestacks and if so is there a solution currently available by which I could update the app and continue playing now?
Have you tried uninstalling, and then reinstalling using the apk? It worked for me once, but I use Nox because Bluestacks wouldn't run FEH for me for some reason.
I've done that before with previous updates and after doing so it just wouldn't let me reinstall it regardless of whether or not I tried to using an apk or from the play store. If needed I can and will wait until someone posts a solution to somewhere days from now like I've had to do wtih some of the previous updates, but I'd really like to continue playing ASAP to not potentially miss out on the dailies or banners. Thanks for the response though, anon.

New account? It's a starter support hero fest that's only available to new players. It's probably a good banner, but depending on which one it is, it might be better or worse than the AHR banner that's currently active.
All of them are worth rolling for, but it'll depend on what you want for your account. The best two to get would definitely be Mareeta and Idunn, not just because they're good and have good fodder, but also because they're ascended units and the first copy your roll will also give a floret.

Yes, depending on the mode. The arena modes (aside from Summoner Duels) all use a scoring system based on how many merges your units have. Aether Raids uses a scoring system for the Mythic units that counts merges, but only the merges on the Mythics. In other modes (as well as non-Mythic units in Aether Raids) the merge count on your units doesn't matter, beyond the slight stat boost each merge gives the unit.
Units in this game have stat IVs. If you don't know what that means, basically each unit comes with a little more/less in certain stats. Each unit will have a boon(+), or bane (-) in a stat. You can make these IV/Boon-bane visible from an option in the options menu. If you merge a unit once, they get their their stat bane(-) removed.
Not really beyond +1 for combat purposes. Spending 1000 orbs to +10 something for the sake of scoring is pretty dumb when the extra rewards from doing so are minimal.
This. For a F2P account it's far better to use those orbs to spark on each New Heroes banner.

AoE damage wont work because he'll Far Save and take the hit anyway. For the initial 3 map CC, i used Easter Karla, boosted by LAzura, and use her duo skill before going in for the one shot kill.
As for the 10 map CC, i had to sacrifice some red units to deal some damage before sending Karla in for the kill.

Yeah, debuffs paired with Spring Triandra's Penalty Doubler was the big difference maker in my Serra being able to tank Abyssal bosses.
I tried them in Astrid and Ninian but then I found another problem in the blue cav having Panic Ploy so I can't position Nowi in front of him without Yuri nuking her. I'd need Null Panic but I don't know if we have a unit that can give that buff.

I sparked for Camilla and was somewhat disappointed. Dual phase is nice but she can't nuke like Vero can and her tankiness is nothing special by modern standards. Sort of a jack of all trades, master of none.

For Arena, it's L!Veronica. I can deal with the gay Chrom with NFU and most ranged threats, but Veronica shuts down any chance of retaliation
L!Robin goes beyond a wall of stats, dude's a whole fortress.
In SD, I don't know, since there's no scoring requirements I usually have decent enough units to deal with some of the more busted units.
1) L!M!Robin Grand Strategy is a pain to play around more so in Arena than SD but still annoying nonetheless.
2) Calvary Dancers particularly L!Ninian she can dance and still attack you. It is made worse when the opposing team is the various To Change Fate Variants of Chrom with oath 4 making predicting attack pattern near impossible on some maps.
3)L! Veronica only because some maps are cramped and she prevents you from getting help from allies. It is even more difficult when she is paired with other powerful units with similar attack ranges because she will tend to attack second to ensure the death of your unit after the other unit softened your defenses.
LRobin - Both him and his allies become unkillable unless you have your own superbuffs. Can't wait for Lull 4 to come with "Negate Grand Strategy"
Brave Dimitri - Unkillable until he's no longer within 3 spaces of an ally.
I don't really have a 3rd. Maybe Duo Dagr or Duo Thorr just for their duo skills in SD.
