Would F!Ike prefer CC4/Repel 4 or Special Spiral 4 for a triple unity build with L!M!Robin?
Personally I'd go Special Spiral 4 so he'd be able to punch through DR and heal back up through his Prf special. Since he has triple unity you can usually assume he will be a giant stat stick thus not requiring the DR in most cases, that and if the enemy is running DR piercers it nullifies the point of DR so hopefully your stats negates most of the damage from the tri-unity.
Does DR even come up that much? Even if it does it's usually first hit only or something and Aether will proc on the second hit. Different F!Ike user and I don't have Robin for unity stacking anyway
speedy infranty sword axe and lance units have a bunch of different kinds of speed based DR skills available to them
Armors tend to have plenty of DR as well.
I guess I should've mentioned I'm thinking in the context of Aether Raids, but if the speedsters are using a dodge skill they won't get DR anyway if you outspeed them
True, but I'm not sure being able to blow them up in 1 round is worth the tradeoff of dodge 4
DR is currently one of the most common effects you'll run into in the game (especially in pvp). You say Mayhem Aether will proc on the second hit but who is to say the opponent isn't running skills with guard effects preventing that which makes SS4 more valuable.
Also due to there being many different kinds of DR, (Spd, Res, Def based, and non-stat based ) SS4 helps pierce through them without doing a stat check and helps you poke enemies with innate DR. The main point though is if you are a stat stick with unity DR isn't necessary because if your stats are high enough you'll be take zero to scratch damage making DR redundant.
That's a good point with guard as long as you stick with a breath seal for insurance, but maybe there's a chance Velocity 4 comes out before the revival

I mean in the context of trying to tank nukes or offensive units, who usually don't have access to DR. Infantry dodge tanks mostly rely on outspeeding or else they get nothing, and those armors rely on you not having NFU to not get maimed immediately
What do you mean does DR come up that much!? Have you not seen the common infantry dodge tanks in Arena/AR, Fallen Edelgard, Formortiis, full invested ranged units with remote sparrow which gives DR on initiation and etc.
I'm also gonna second SS4 because being able to pierce through DR isn't so easy for melee units (with the lack of a Deadeye or Lethality equivalent)

Tiki survived with 2 HP and healed enough to tank the mage. I also tested with her prf to take advantage of the anti-dragons effect but it's so bad, she died on the third encounter.

How many orbs am I supposed to be getting monthly? I feel like I only get ~120 but I keep hearing about how you're supposed to get more
300ish. I hit 800 orbs on the 1st and 900 orbs on the 12th, which is in line with what to expect per month.

I don't instafeather anybody. But every once in a while if I am running low on feathers because I just did multiple back to back merge projects I might go into my manuals and mass feather people. Frankly the way this game works now you can safely feather pretty much any 3-4* that you don't care about though, considering new rank 4 skills generally don't work off of old rank 3 skills.

including the drives and stuff from other units I was sitting around + 41 def ; -20ish atk on the enemy, and 25% damage reduction on the first hit before her prf takes effect. once the ball got rolling the only issue I had was bridal Shanna in one of the sub boss fights

Colorless units do feel a bit underwhelming in the mode unless you need heals. My Serra did almost nothing the entire event. I'll probably end up replacing her next time.
Seeing Olivia as the main workhorse over F!Grima is still bizarre to me.
Need a 5x SP event. Grinding at x2 is tiresome and I don't feel like trying to set up an auto battle auto clicker setup each time I max out SP on a character.

I've only heard backlash for bad art and Young Tiki representation being constantly glued to Adult Tiki. I've yet to really see anything thing about Young Tiki being a kid in the bridal banner.

How does Time Pulse 4 work on a unit with no CD-1 on their prf?
TP4 pretty much gives the non CD-1 units a discount Slaying effect. I say discount as TP4 is still susceptible to units that can reset cooldown until the next turn.
Help a Nino out, how does it work with Special Spiral4?

Only SS kicks in to grant -2 CD special after combat.
In practice it doesn't actually matter which happens since in both cases it'd charge your special after combat assuming you're using a special whose max charge is 3. (3 count after combat = -3 which charges your special. 2 count after combat = -2 which charges your special)

By the end, if you managed to acquire enough good skills, your units basically become gods, to help you take down units that are statistically way stronger than yours

Actually filtered me pretty hard the first boss battle, I realized that bonus units are just a suggestion and built a better team. I also got to use skills that I don't have on my units so its pretty good for test running. I had Escape Route 4 on one of my units and Dazzling Shift on my healer and it was really fun to use so I might consider trying for a copy of Ascended Elincia and Easter Bernie if they rerun

I originally made this account to pull for Ninja Camilla just to see if she could solo the game (she does like 95% of the content by herself, btw) and I was gonna keep it just to pull for Engage units, but since then, Fomortiis and now Tiki dropped, so that original objective is long gone.

I do it by rarity. 5* are auto heart locked, and i use the green and yellow hearts to pick the legend/mythic/duos/strong units that i actually use, sorting it so that those show up at the very top. I save at least 1 copy of a 4* and throw those in the barracks. Askr Trio are also saved to show up at the top for those orb missions every few weeks and every month

I've officially gotten a flawless AR defense week. Watching the replay of the final opponent that counted was a letdown though. I assumed they were going to player phase me with a mixed galeforce team but they oddly decided to enemy phase me with units catered toward the former. Was by far the weakest opponent to attack my defense this week.
Despite all my efforts I was no where close to a golden throne. Out of curiosity how many people here have at least a golden throne? I lucked out with my only golden throne despite being F2P. I know I gotten it before VoH was introduced. Golden thrones are much harder to get than arena crowns as F2P.

I lack any meaningful offensive mythics built to score really well. My closest one to being +10 is Altina sitting at +6 merges and ironically they were all pity breakers of me trying to +10 another mythic unit.
I'm sitting on 3 from when AR was newer. You basically need to roll for mythic merges for higher scoring to get golds these days, but I don't care about the extra rewards enough to spend thousands of orbs for that purpose.

Using Fallen Byleth feels so brain dead in AR-O and I love it. She prevents opponents from passing through her with bulwark effect and neutralizes enemy buffs. With the help of Jeralt you debuff the enemy team so most unit's buffs will be reversed and if not will be neutralized by Byleth. Using Bunny Triandra for foe penalty doubler you debuff all enemies for -12 atk/def and -14 spd against opponent's fastest unit if using chill spd. Throw Flayn for extra DR support and foe's first attack does a measly ~9% of original damage (or ~91% DR).
Yeah, it seems like outspeeding her is the only way to kill her.

There's not a lot of things Arcane Eclipse + SS4 doesn't counter, to be fair. Throw on a Pulse Tie on a support unit to get rid of precharged defensive specials and that numbers drops even further.

It's just OCs. I scanned the artbooks last year, and 99% of it was just character art that is copy pasted into a book. There was some JP text, that might have been unique to the character but I'm guessing it was just a quote from the hero. The only interesting/original stuff was for FEH plot info, OC concept art pages, and scant few seasonal concept art. Interestingly enough, the seasonal concept art suggests that IS has someone design the outfits, but they hire an artist to do the pose/art.

Not that I recall. Oddly enough they had the rest of the Valentines banner concept art, but didn't include Lili. I might have forgot to scan the page, but I'm pretty sure I got all of them. I don't know why IS didn't bother to put all of the concept art into the artbook over shitting out copy pasted art from the game.

I did do it with a squad of Nowi, Katarina, Darros and Valentines Lissa but still, actually took some thinking to get round those boss stages even on the non-advanced tiles
Was watching a replay of AR and noticed that Mila had a refine/remix which I completely forgot about. Her ref/rem feels nonexistent and didn't really add any real benefit to her kit. I don't know why IS does this to Mythics and Legendary units? We have powerful ref/rem that reinvigorated units like Altina being mid-tier to now high-tier and the inverse like Sothis who got no true benefit that helped their kit or function in the game mode they're made for. When I remember this I fear building a Mythic/Legendary for IS to give them a miniscule upgrade that makes them fall off because a future Mythic/Legendary out performs them in every way with just their base kit.
I feel like they didn't want to go overboard with Mila because she's still very unique. Excluding Duo button skills, she and B!Fjorm still are the only units that can inflict isolation, and they were released three-four years ago.
Sothis on the other hand... I guess they gave her a trash remix because too many players already had her at high merges, giving her a major upgrade might have shifted the AR meta too much but IS would have gained little by doing it. Meanwhile few players invested in Yune and turning her into a must have mythic was more profitable.
I can sorta see why they made some upgrades better than others but mythics/legendary heroes are already difficult to acquire and some units they chose to give bad refines to sorta needed it examples being L!Ike who partially was gimped for sharing a weapon and Peony though still a great dancer was given an abysmal refine on par if not worse than Sothis. I really wished there was consistency where the refine is good but not busted and at least fixed one failing of the unit like Sothis could of had Null follow-up tacked on or slowed enemy specials like a pulse smoke. Because otherwise she can still be blown up by enemy specials despite her innate DR that doesn't help to much due to poor defenses. At the end of the day it's just a minor gripe that we may see a few more mythic/legendary units get mistreated.
Palla's weaker than I thought she'd be. Don't think I'll forma her after all since she just gets completely walled by DR. I'll regret it later when her refine ignores DR.
Anybody else already forget Desperation is a seal? I don't know who I'd even use that on except maybe desert Linde since she can barely even take 1 hit.
I didn't forget. It honestly might have some decent use now that a lot of slow units get guaranteed follow ups.
It isn't all to useful due to you never wanting to be that low on health to use it nowadays. That and you need to set up to use it making it only useful on perhaps galeforce teams. I find the best users are those with guaranteed follow-up attacks on initiation and the Bernie Alts. Speedy units sadly wouldn't want to use it due to it forcing them to give up too many stats or more reliable follow-up attacks and denial with null follow-up. It isn't a bad skill just niche now.

Not exactly. After-combat cooldown reductions stack, so SS4 and TP4 going off would drop a triggered Special's cooldown by 3. If you can stomach the C skill doing nothing else, you can lead with a 3 CD Special every combat (or 4 CD, if the weapon has slaying).

I'm also planning on +10'ing Bride and Valentia Catria, but I'm prioritizing Valentia since I'd say she gets more out of being +10 than Bride does. The way I see it, Bride mainly benefits from being +10 by being able to bring her for Arena. That and Valentia is currently a 4% pull while Bride is a 3% and may possible be getting bumped up to 4% next year.
Any way to make these better? I feel like the only one that could actually improve is Palla, but maybe I'm forgetting something

Cornelia synergizes well with Jeralt, Yune, Hrid, and Gunnthra off the top of my head. I love her too. I'd say she is a tier 1 unit for AR-O/D she helps with initiation and typically ruins enemy formation for AR-D. She is a menace to fight against when fully decked out.

Thoughts on Bulwark skills? It seems like more of a Dragon-only skill since I feel you give up too much bulk by replacing DR B skills with it for infantry melee units. I'm just trying to convince myself that giving my spooky Mia Atk/Spd Oath is better than giving someone else Spd/Def Bulwark from this male Shez I have lying aorund.
I feel like if you can somehow get DR through other means (like through Godlike Reflexes, Vital Astra, or Spd Smoke 4) then they're good for the healing and for keeping foes from advancing towards your back line
For that reason, I feel like Ascended Mareeta can use it pretty well, since she already gets DR through Vital Astra, or she can use any of the other skills I mentioned pretty well too

Really depends on who you support with her miracle drive. She and Formortiis combo well since Formortiis has the bulk and annoying ability to end enemy units' turn(s) if he survives. She also combo well if godswords and speedy units since they tend to only get hit once and can help them from a single otherwise lethal DR piercing attack.

Camillabros, what do we want for our inevitable Legendary Camilla? Brave was already Nohrian Queen, and we still haven't technically gotten the Camilla at the end of Birthright (since she cedes the throne to Leo). In all of her endings, she always gives up her royal title to either be with family (if she's married) or her solo ending is "focusing on humanitarian efforts and adopting 11 kids". I think focusing on a humanitarian based Camilla that tries to blend Nohr and Hoshido culture would be kinda cool, especially since they keep making her a weeb in her alts (New Years and Ninja).

None of the royal girls in Fates even had a Prf weapon. There was a generic "Hinoka's Spear" that anyone could wield (you could get it randomly), and it was just a better Steel Naginata that granted 10% avoid.
Anyone else ignore Rally+ skills for scoring in AB in favor of Reposition? It feels like it'd be a huge pain in the ass to get max score without good movement since you're forced to only kill things with a color advantage. What's your AB team look like?
And as I say that, I get a max score run with Rally+ skills, but it helped that the enemy units this week were weak as shit.

Damn I was lucky near the end of my summoning session for this legendary banner. I had already reached spark to get the necessary fodder I needed for another unit, so I had to snipe green to get a copy of Robin. I reached 9% until I got a circle of all red so I had to choose a random red and got my % reset by a rouge Hinoka. Now with an 8% rate again I was going to have snipe greens over again but fortunately I was blessed by the next green orb and out popped a Robin. Truly was I blessed by the Goddesses this time. Honestly thought I'd have to forfeit another 60-80 orbs for the next 5* to appear.

It is the eternal consequence of frontloading the game as much as possible. They are stuck headlining banners with literal whos at this point, and powercreep can only sell so many units.

But for HoF you prioritize rare/useful skills for alternate builds for when it ends. And vantage would be a waste since one it is already in Palla's base kit and if she didn't already have it can be easily obtained from a common pool unit so vantage is the worst thing to try to get in HoF.

I think ranged horses' only real options are either Panic Smoke, Def/Res Smoke or Menace. I don't think there's a right answer unless a Prf clearly favors one of the 3. For Delthea, Atk/Spd Menace can help her reach the "18 total bonuses/penalties" requirement of preventing counterattacks.

Ninja yumi's mt is too low compared to whitecap, and you can't even refine it.
Meanwhile the arcane bow is hit or miss, it's only a direct upgrade if you have her in a B!Catria/W!Cordelia team.

Hopefully the new unit type includes the reveal of Arts/Gauntlet weapon being revealed as physical based healers. But for a new unit type in general I'd like to see would be units that can change their weapon type/skills at a push of a button. Ex: The unit can change from a sword to mage unit but when they swap weapons they can have a separate set of skills. If AI controlled the AI can't swap weapons but you can set either weapon type as default for defense.

Summer freebie will be a random FE Lord off a color you had no choice in appearing. Surprises that could happen are possible summoning changes, hopefully it is a demote of many year 1 units like Y!Tiki or Ike who don't deserve their 4* special title.

Depends on what you want to do with him I guess. If you want to make him into a near save unit, than yeah, downfall is probably what you want. If you want him to be more of a generalist or a far save unit, than you might be able to stick with his prf.
Guaranteed doubles alone makes it way better than downfall to me. He probably has like 20 spd

I'd say the refines this time around range from surprisingly decent for a free unit (Tanya), to serviceable (Igrene), to good enough to bring 'em into the modern day (Rudolf, Nagi)

I think "warp within 2 spaces of unit within 2 spaces" is pretty OP, but it is unfortunate that it's basically the only effect on it in addition to some stats.
It could've been salvaged if it wasn't for the dumb support partner requirement for the guaranteed follow-up attack

As a fellow Silvia enjoyer, I can confirm that one-tap Galeforce is a powerful asset. Just be prepared to go the extra mile to make her battle-ready, because she hits like a noodle without a proper kit.

Wasn't gonna go for Heiðr initially, but I was a hairsbreadth away from a full Summon Charge, had a pity rate, Green is the easiest to get 5*'s from, and nothing is too good for my daughter.
Using her in Tactics Drills made me wish I got lucky on rolling her. She seems really fun. Maybe one day if she ever shares green with 2 other units I'd want I'll pick her up on an 8% banner.

It was a little worrying seeing it, but everything turned out better than expected. Her blue stat nullification is probably the scariest thing about her. Can't cheese her with Bonus Doubler like 99% of other units in the game.
