What do you think is the most difficult map or side quest to try and complete? Relative to whichever units you had available at the time, since something that was difficult before may be easily solo-able nowadays.

Got Heather on my third pull. Threw in a few more orbs hoping for Sanaki and Zelgius but to no avail. Might try again depending on how the next new banner looks.

She's cool and all but I'd rather see her skillset and stats before deciding.
She honestly might have pretty middling stats, like her Atk is her highest stat while her Spd, Def, and Res are all pretty close to each other
I just went and did the Lunatic 7 map to check, she has 45 Atk, 38 Spd, 37 Def, 38 Res, it's a bit inflated because it's Lunatic but I feel like that probably means decent Atk and maybe low 30s for everything else
However, she's gonna come with a prf that'll give her Time's Pulse, or an extra charge during combat (like with Brave Tiki), and it'll have the Guard nulling Tempo effect
She doesn't have it right now, but given that she has Lethality and they wanna sell this new dagger, then they're gonna want her to activate Lethality very easily, and that's also why it has a guaranteed follow-up attack, because she's not that fast

She's gonna have okay Atk and middle of the road stats elsewhere, unusually slow for a dagger unit, and she'll come with some way of spamming Lethality without breaking a sweat

I got a Sanaki and two Zelgius. SF4 is sick, I want to give it to Dozla but I'll wait for the Arcane Dagger first. Zelgius makes me think a shogun banner would be cool, Ashnard would be perfect on it

Lol no. It's nice to see characters like Heather and Reina get in the game but holy shit I'm sick of Tellius + the banner is mediocre in all possible ways. Nobody apart from SDgays care about Zelgius, Reina/Heather both have mid art and IS pulled another soulless POR/RD duo instead of something creative between titles that have little to no connection to each other. Even the freebie is bad compared to how groundbreaking NinjaHana was to f2p players a couple years ago.

The blessing garden chain maps used to be a real pain years back. its funny how their massive amounts of stats don't mean much anymore.

Another cultural banner like the desert/tribe banners wouldn't be bad. It's cool to see other characters in outfits from another world. Seeing some random Archanea characters in a Sacae tribe outfits, or seeing Fates characters dressed up in some of the Jugdral outfits would be neat, even if underwhelming to some. Picnic banners also had some nice outfits.

I wish I wasn't such an impulsegay because Zelgius looks so cool and I want to +10 him...I've only gotten a 5* Reina which I'm pretty happy about, but I'm still trying for Zelgius. Unless I like the next banner I'll probably skip on that new arcane dagger (doesn't seem too great anyways) if I don't end up with a copy of him by then.

I switched phones with a binded FEH account once, and the only thing you have to worry about is switching between iOS and Android as the orbs will not be transferred.
Even if you were to transfer not knowing this, you can just switch back to your old phone and your orbs will still be there. You can have the game installed on both phones and play but, naturally, you can only have one active account at a time.
Is Ninja Duo Sanaki worth merging if if I have +10 Ninja Duo Corrin, +10 NY Duo Askr, and +10 Valentine Duo Chrom?
If you think 3 Atk is worth over 1000 orbs I guess. I'm going for just +1 since her performance wouldn't be that different.

Not sure why you're using neutral IVs. The difference between +0 and +10 is 4 Atk if she's +Atk and I was comparing the difference between her first +Atk merge (which I thought was +1, but looks like you need +2 to get her first +atk merge) vs +10 which is a difference of about 1000 orbs .

I've seen a video of an umerged ninja snacki taking down some of the top tanks in the game... at level 1. Her ability to shit out true damage and shred non-special DR means she is as close to "never obsolete" as possible. The only way they will top her is if they just do the same thing on a unit in the future but with fewer conditions.

Oh yeah, the art's great, and as a character Azama's cool. And in Fates he was surprisingly strong for what's normally a healer unit, to the point where it's better not to even use him as one and just use him as a combat unit.
It's just a damn shame that didn't translate into FEH. He's got less base Atk than an entire wepaon, and I don't even know if they'll even bother making an Arcane staff either.
Book 1 units will never be good again but I do appreciate the art (most of the time). Niðavellir themed outfit was a surprising choice and he looks pretty great

I'd personally go with Bramimmond since it doesn't accompany a Lyn alongside it, even tho Mark is more of a (you) than Bramimmond will ever be. Sure you can disable the backpack, but in this case I think it will depend more on the enemy having toggled that option (?), I don't know how this works exactly, some might see Lyn there and be like ???

You CAN NOT get Arcane Weapons in HoF, you are correct.
There is a stipulation that they will appear if the Rearmed hero is ever in the HoF, but that has NEVER happened.
Honestly they should just have HoF run a bit more frequently with different types. a HoF with the same weapon+ Arcane sword might sell decently. They could also just expand the roster and let people create their own team, but that will never happen for some reason.
They should really do a solo character emblem HOF, ie all Lucinas, Camillas, Lyns, or Tikis lineup

Why don't they reun HoF more often? There's 1000+ characters in FEH. Odds are there is a character someone would debate buying, or using their free forma on. It's not like making Sully appear on HoF would break their bank.

Because of fomo. If every hof reran, say every week, then no one would spend their forma souls and just wait for the cheapest opportunity with highest return. Fomo puts the consumer in a crappy position of buy it now or cross your fingers and hope someone on Twitter bots the hof you want to rerun in like two years. Thats why penisfart and reddittroon push out a video and infographic for every hof, respectively, so the consumer can know which premium skills give the best roi for their forma unit.

Yes it is. I got it on my Nowi and replaced it with Brash Assault, but I'm considering trying to aim back for Desperation. BA4 is mainly for its pseudo-NFU, but typically units that block follow-ups are slow bulky units that Nowi would have trouble breaking through even if she was doubling, so it's probably better to just aim for uninterrupted doubles on less defensive units due to her frailty.
Yes, that and the Arcane tome also gives guaranteed FU's, so having BA4 will feel a bit redundant. Good to know, I'll aim for that then, my luck has been pretty shitty so far unfortunately.

what it makes me think is that you can get away with putting veyle's tempo on melee. it's not like lull where it can change a stat by far more than 4 points. the only major parts of the effect works for everyone. 4 points of speed "can" decide a matchup but it's actually quite rare with the increasingly wide distribution of stats. stuff like gotoh actually being slower than the entire game before him, plus having less dragonflowers which makes the gap bigger.

My units that hit the hardest are a few modern units, but I feel kinda lame putting +1 to +3 units with their base kits as my lead.
It's been a long time since this mode last ran, I don't remember anymore, is it possible to reach the highest tier in this mode by doing the second hardest map instead of the hardest? While I can do the hardest one thanks to my japanese whale friends, I find it way faster to do it on the second haardest diffiiculty and I'm kinda lazy lately.
Yup, I always just auto the second hardest with a combination of my strongest units and the strongest units of friends I've added

I don't think we have, but that would be a pretty good theme, there's plenty of mercenaries they could bring onto the banner
Not sure what they could be doing though, it's not like mercenary work is something that's celebrated, but it could be something like what the Ninja banners were (where they bring in characters that were based on their original class, like last year it was Wyvern Lords)

The only problem is that there aren't a lot of females outside of F!Byleth and F!Shez, so the banners might flop. IIRC, Eyvel isn't actually a merc, but the leader of a militia, and Soleil's class is mercenary, but I don't really remember her background at all. Mist is also technically a mercenary. I don't remember if Shamir has a background as a mercenary, and Engage is full of nobles and retainers

Help me choose a way among this crossroad I'm currently stucked at.
I have one Rearmed Triandra and 3 potential choices to inherit skills from her. L!Leif and B!Gullveig for the extra Death Blow and Freyja for the Atk/Spd Clash. Which one should I choose?
Death Blow X skill will be powercrept next Atk-related Attuned. Clash.
death blow echo is mega shit on those since you can't use it with njorun's zeal or gold unwinding.
but at the same time, clash is only a minimal upgrade over catch, and both clash and catch are very common.
just find someone else to give death blow to. i have it on ninja camilla and summer ivy.

It was mostly to benefit the old heroes who mostly had severely underpowered Prf skills like Brave Ike's Beorc's blessing which no one runs. Unfortunately it hurts the old heroes that had really good prf's that are invaluable or unique like Black Luna, Sirius, Grima and their dragonhide skill, Fallen Star, and etc. Overall I particularly hate echo skills since it forces units into the same builds. >Example: Prfless and non-prfless now have the same exact build with exclusion to their weapon but if you run a rearmed weapon on both the only difference is stat distribution.
I still don't know what were they thinking with giving the echo skills so many restrictions. Forcing you into the same copy-paste builds in every unit by discarding their unique skills is a terrible choice. It's not like an extra +6 Atk would change the meta overnight.
I know units with generic weapons or just a prf weapon with no unique skills or specials can get a bigger benefit of the echo skills, but still, limiting your choices is not fun.
I think if echo skills had different restrictions it should had been skill by skill basis.

Funny how penalty neutralization was considered a liability for some because they couldn't exploit Unity effects.

I gave Special Spiral 4 to Brave Marth, and although there's some redundancy (his built in Tempo means nothing can deter Shining Emblem from activating anyway), it's mainly there for the DR piercing, and he can Vantage, DR pierce, get a frick ton of stats, and he's actually quite fun to use
Atk/Spd Gap is just there because I didn't really have anything else and to guarantee that his NFU is always active (since +5 Atk/Spd totals to 10)

Citrinne doesnt work as well with LRobin because she doesnt spread the debuffs that he provides to his allies making you reliant on the opponent to provide debuffs. he also probably doesnt work well with freyr or ymir for similar reasons but i havent tested those interactions.

I'm not you but I'd keep her Grimoire refine over Arcane Eclipse. Arcane Eclipse is only good since it allows you to loop specials. Since fliers are barred from special spiral she is better off utilizing her move type's specialty in warping/repositioning allies. It is a plus too since she can warp easily with her Prf refine making maneuvering allies and herself easy.
I'd give her a Trace skill. She's not fast enough to reliably double modern units so Desperation isn't going to be very effective.

There's two issues I have with daylight issues. 1st, it's blatantly obvious that giving the midnight reset to the west coast DURING Daylight Savings is absolute detriment to literally everyone else in the world. TMS/Cipher banner should be in just because they're a part of FE history. Warriors 1 OCs, and even Al from the Manga should have a chance at getting in if the game goes on long enough. the amount of people who would spend for them is incredibly low, but it would still be nice to get them in.
Grand Conquests should be like most other events where you only have to put in a minimal amount of effort to get all the orb rewards and going further is just for feathers. I feel like I have to spend triple the time playing the game getting GC rewards than rewards from any other event including TT depending on whether you have the Pass's repeat auto play feature.

hardy won't do shit for him since his weapon doesn't come with cd-1. it's good for those people with killer weapons since they get to have 75%+5 dr instead of just 49%+5 dr.
Murdock's weapon gives defense so it's more like 49%+9, half the time. but yes, if the enemy's atk minus your defense is at least 6, slaying weapons are better. if we give it a lower weight to account for magic vs physical, that number needs only to be 3.
I'd say go Lumera, Zephia, Cervantes, Murdock, Flame Emperor, or Cornelia. Assuming you were playing when Flame Emperor came out you could have six copies or so iirc so she'd be the cheapest to fully +10 out of the ones I listed.

I doubt it personally, IS will either take kingdoms from lesser popular norse/germanic stories or pull out alternate worlds like Alt!Archanea which attempt to conquer other worlds. That last option is a bit far-fetched but it would be cool to see.
I think in one of the forging bonds they talked about how theres a possibility that other worlds (like archenea, fodlan, tellius etc) COULD invade (The one with the ashen wolves I think?) so maybe we'll see some consequences for using our funny summoner gun thats probably where the arcane weapon stuff comes in too. The last time we got any in story interaction with mainline characters was in book 1 and a bit of book 2 so maybe we'll go back to that formula I miss it tbqh

Define "end". They've been setting up ragnarok for a while, and it's been technically going on since at least the book 2 TT, but Alfador's death could be the end of that arc. There isn't really many other places to go in the Nordic pantheon beyond giantland, Ymir's realm, and Asgard. the former are likely not to see full books as they've somewhat been addressed already.
As you mentioned, what IS does after is the more important question. Do they just move onto a new pantheon, or perhaps finally do books involving other worlds? There's potential in doing a few books about Loki fricking around and messing up timelines/continents lore, but IS avoids doing anything that could be interpreted as fricking with/cementing any form of canon.

Alfador's death/Ragnarok could be the end of the Ragnarok arc, but I doubt they will discard the askr trio and end the main story.

I pretty happy that Seidr got to be happy at the end, I like the idea that Seidr was the one to end the never-ending loop of suffering herself, its been a while since I enjoyed a book's conclusion (Book 5's ending put a sour taste in my mouth). Personally I would've kept the romance out, not that I hate it but it feels too minimal most of the time in this book for it to even be mentioned or for me to care about it. I hope next book they add a little nuance to the romance that isn't "I feel some sort of way towards you maybe".

I'm going to start deleting any friend who packs a rally skill on their unit, they're useless in GC.
Rally skills are bad in any situation on friend units from allegiance battles to voting gauntlet. It isn't like it helps you score so when a friend unit has it it screws you over. The only exception where having a rally skill is okay is in binding worlds since you have the chance to soul them to keep if you paid for one.

When fighting her, you have no damage reduction, and she gets to deal a billion damage per hit just because

You are just supposed to ignore it being the armor or infantry round or whatever and just always use flying units. Your armor units and infantry units still always die in one round anyways, so flying units being theoretically more fragile just doesn't fricking matter, and they have the superior movement of the flying type.

Yeah, unlike the weekly mode, you don't get points for using the bonus units, only buffs, so you should just ignore those and use any units with warping skills or extra movement to swooce right in to the enemy fort.
Of course, if you're genuinely evil, you can always run Gatekeeper in your GC brigade to frick with people

There's just no way to salvage early game units at this point. I was just looking into giving an arcane weapon to my Summer Ylgr since I managed to get a Ganglot, but compating her to other current year free axes is just depressing. Valentine Effie for example has 8 more Atk, 5 more Spd AND 5 more total BST just to rub salt on the wound, and defenses have stopped mattering altogether because damage reduction and true damage are all over the place.

Sure, Summer Ylgr may be outclassed by Valentine's Effie or F Shez, but here's the important question:
Do you like Ylgr more than Effie or Shez? If yes, then give her the damn stuff anyway
There's always going to be SOME mode where she can be used, like Limited Hero Battles (which she could even potentially do solo), or you could give her a Duel skill and have her be a scorebot in Arena or something
It's not ideal, and there are stronger units for these purposes, but if you like a unit enough, you'll give them all the fun, fancy skills and tools and toys because you like the character, no matter how outclassed they get
Think about it, I remember seeing at least one or two anons who have a +10 maxed out Resplendent Serra, a first year healer

usually, if "at start of combat" is present at the start of a sentence, it should mean visible res. but it's a compound sentence so I would completely understand if they messed up

it is incredibly infrequent that we get new specials, particularly for specific movement+weapon type combos
even if she loses the speed check, she still gets spd-scaling damage, and then when you do run into slow units you get the full benefit still. GLR on the other hand, is fricked and was overhyped
if you like her, or perhaps need someone for Thracia LHB content, then keep her. if you don't care about her and won't ever use her then you can fodder her off safely.
If you don't like her, and don't have anyone to fodder her off to, then try using her and perhaps you will form a bond with her.

Speaking about Vital Astra vs Godlike Reflexes, which one is the better skill overall? I'm building a godaxe but I'm not sure which one would be better.
I think it mainly depends on how well you're able to keep either one looped, since both of them require you to have them active to get the most out of their effects.
Generally, if you have Time's Pulse 4, go with Vitla Astra, if you have some method of Special accel (through Pledge or similar effects, Tempo will also help a lot here), then Godlike Reflexes.
Godlike Reflexes it is then, Arcane Downfall gives special cooldown charge +1 which would be meaningless with Vital Astra since the weapon also gives special accel. It's also good because I also get Spd Smoke 4 as a bonus from the Lyn manual.

Not sure if you're aware because at this point no one pays attention to the seals we get from the Squad Assaults, but we have been getting some HP +5 Dual Stat +3 seals for a couple of months, so you could give her an HP +5 Atk/Spd +3 seal instead, if you don't care much about the defenses and would like to avoid the 6 damage from Fury.
Fury's recoil is what would activate Escape Route 4 for its Canto though
Otherwise she'd usually be taking out her opponent in two hits and would thus avoid taking damage, unless you let her enemy phase something first or something
If you can't afford anything better, Windsweep is a decent budget skill. You can still get use out of your DR against dragons and other magic units

Wow that's outdated. Consider Counter Roar from Brave Corrin or, if you can't afford that, Dragon's Wrath 4 from Muspell in Codes 4. For A, consider Flared Sparrow or Flared Mirror for placing Divine Flames, or a Catch skill as budget (I think we just got a free Hapi manual). Upgrade the C to Guidance 4 or Soaring Guidance if you care about her teammates; otherwise, Rein is alright.
I was considering Atk/Spd Catch 4 because she's a dual phase unit, but also Distant Pressure since it also gives the Spd boost on Player Phase. The problem is the B-skill, right now I'm out of manuals and Counter Roar is too heavy of an investment but I think I'll save for the Wrath.
I would've recommended Dragon's Ire 4, but you just missed your chance since it's still only locked to Halloween Male Corrin. Auto followup plus offensive NFU both dual phase would be really great for her.
I do have a spare Corrin from last year, unfortunately I'd lose Distant Stance because I don't have Ire 3 fodder, but I might bite the bullet and she might still prefer a Spd DC, it sounds like a better option.
The offensive NFU on Ire 4 works EP, so if you want the Spd+5 DC you can grab it from Marth in Codes 3

I agree. Other realms could use more love. Imagine Niðavellir Resplendent Black Knight. His armor would look more like power armor. Or any of the dancers getting a Vanaheimr outfit.
I'm guessing fairies is just one of the more popular, and unique outfit types, especially for women. the wings, and flower vines are unique accents that make them stand out from other realms. it makes sense they use it a lot. some of the outfits from other realms look great, but likely aren't as catching and the most unique ones are muspell with the flame motif on some clothes to appear on fire, and Hel which don't fully lean into the jelly skele gimmick.
Vanaheim might be another commonly used one they can be revealing, and the translucent fabric is good for teasing skin.
I'm surprised we haven't gotten anything from Vanaheim yet, dancers would be pretty good for that

This was my experience as well. I just started previewing the next map and if it looked too difficult for Marcia to solo, I just did the lowest level Infernal instead until I rolled an easy map.
At this point i just completely ignore armors
They don't get kills and are only good to sacrifice them in favor of a better unit
I honestly hate how AR-D meta changes too quickly imo. I had to change my save ball to a Cav/flying line instead because offensive units (even though they are unmerged most of the time) are too powerful to tank nowadays and attacking offense before they can reach you is far more consistent than tanking.
I wonder what IS's answer to powerful pp units like Ninja Snacky will be since most defensive units are blown up by her currently.

Any unit with DR and "neutralizes unit's penalties" somewhere in their kit. Base Peony also grants this effect with Gentle Dream+, so honestly Ninja Sanaki isn't a problem on Light season.

Merges aren't too needed nowadays on most of the newer units, unless you care about arena scoring or for favorite autism, most newer units will serve you well at +1 or +0 even.
When it came to tanking Sanaki the only viable way I blocked her was pre-charging armored Floe/Beacon on top of having panic, sabotage, and enemy penalty doubler active. Otherwise she shredded most of my units except in rare cases.

Depends on the gamemode I'm playing but usually I'm running Zephia, Jeralt or getting debuffs on the enemy by initiating with my Summer Claude who also runs atk/spd menace. So getting catch to activate through means other than relying on the enemy to have full HP is not too hard.

What's the moment in this game that has made you seethe with anger the most? For me, it's when they backpacked Tate in the bridal harmonized. As one of the 4 big Tate fans, I knew this was her one shot at an alt, and seeing how Catria got yet another alt, it seems like I was right.
Never really got upset at feh beyond just angry at bad summoning rolls, which happens to everyone.
The most "upset" I can recall is Duo mark not commanding Lyn for their weapon, or Mark not being the backpack because borh options would be more fitting. Perhaps they figured if they did that people would shit their pants and call it even more of a Lyn alt when it isnt. Its funny how backpacks aren't considered alts until Lyn or Fjorm get involved.

Yes, especially on weekends when you get an extra 10 points even when losing. Nino has extra movement while Gullveig has teleporting and extra actions, and they're paired with my Nowi, H!Nowi and Nah who are fully boosted and also have teleporting. The only real threats I'll most of the time lose are Brave Corrin and Ninja Zelgius.

I and many other people built up a +10 Ninja Hana and then Ninja Shamir came out a year after, then a year after that, F Shez (who at least has a prf, even if it's just kinda meh)

It's gonna happen, so if you decide to stick to a project, stick with it, because eventually you'll get more stuff to give to 'em, and even if there are technically better options, you gotta work with what you've got
And if they have a prf, all the better, like both F Shez and Summer M Shez have pretty decent to good prfs, and prfs with support effects will age better over time like Cornelia or Fargus's stuff

Also true damage is getting a bit stupid. DR is getting out of hand so their response is to release ass tons of true damage. It's like they're trying to make gen 1 units great because they had high ass hp and low atk so they can ignore true damage while also getting DR from other sources.
