Also, if you prefer the canto, you might want to get Escape Route 4 instead of Brash Assault 4, or if you happen to get a Harken somewhere.
BA4 with the Claude bow is weird because she wants to do big damage on the second hit with the damage reflection, but she's gonna use the deadeye on the first hit.
Get Soaring Guidance or Guidance 4 instead of Menace too if you can, it's slightly more valuable. Can always rely on someone else to give Elincia buffs/debuffs.
Can't go wrong with Brash Assault 4.

I would say yes, if only because special acceleration is easier to get with a variety of seals, support skills/characters, and most importantly because I just fricking hate dealing with DR.
It's probably better if you do have special acceleration in some form.
I should add that I'm a tierlet that really really fricking hates DR so my opinion is skewed, and might not be as correct as it should be.

I do have some units that I rolled for that I thought I'd like, but ended up not using for much, yes. Not tempted in the slightest on this banner, though. The most attractive thing to me is No Quarter, but I don't find it worth rolling for since it's a banner with no tickets and not an 8% with all useful units on a color.
I'm tempted to roll to get no quarter for my Petrine, but I don't think that might be a good idea since she'd suffer to pull it off, but then again, there's the non-zero possibility her refine gives her some sort of spec acceleration (tho I don't think this will happen). If anything I might just roll and keep it there until she gets her refine.

I might come back to the banner if L!Elincia doesn't completely drain my orb stash later this month. The 5 rearmed Chrom copies in my barracks are just begging to be used for No Quarter duping.
These new armors are making me use AoE specials again.
Most of the prf weapons that units get nowadays all have a Above 25% HP condition and AoE's are very strong into that since they disable those if you have enough attack.

Yeah, it's still fun. I'm building up villains and rolled a Christmas Edelgard for when/if Brom gets in. Seer's Snare is my favorite mode so far

any form of Limited hero battle content tends to be the best IMO. Seer's snare is also fun.

Yeah, I mostly enjoy collecting Heroes and building my favorites and then using them on pve modes, I only do the bare minimum for pvp (hover at around t20 in AR and t18-19 in arena) because I'm lazy and also because the pvp modes are not really my thing.

Rokkr Sieges, how long has it been since it last ran? I miss it.
Other favorites are Seer's Snare and Grand Conquest (It's the place where I can use all my japanese whale friends' units), to a lesser extent Tap Battles, due to being a FE "Guitar Hero" and I enjoyed that game a lot way back then.

Really depends if you just want to play some extra FElite or play with your favorite units.
A lot of my faves are older units who are either melee and too speedcrept to contest modern melee powercreep and evadetanking, or poor bastards who were slow and "bulky" once upon a time, and it's not very fun to use them when they can't even fulfill their roles of winning their weapon triangle matchups on their preferred phase 1v1.
Inheritance and building them can be fun, but it also depends on what unit you want to build again. It's kinda fun seeing my how old mages can play with setting half the map on fire and fricking over 5+ range enemies now, but the old EP melee guys haven't gotten anything interesting to inherit to help them remotely survive the ever-increasing damage output in this game (no, an extra -4 atk/spd or whatever won't cut it).

HoF for feeling closest to normal FE and getting to raise whoever I like. Kinda like seeing other people's units in VG still, but occasionally I roll the "my unit + a duo of year one unit passion projects, all the same color, vs one unit with WTA on them all who came out last week" matches and I become rapidly more jaded about it.
At least you don't lose your voting privileges if you lose a match in VG. I just exit and re-enter until I get 3 different colored units for the sake of the quests.
And I feel Binding Worlds is better if what you like seeing is other peoples' well-invested units.
Seers snare, hall of forms, and binding worlds. All so I can see what true power looks like.

Most of the time I still do. Building up favorites is still probably the best part of the game and the last year or so has introduced a lot of fun skills to play with. That being said, it's expensive as frick to build up old units to get them up to a viable level and they'll still be worse than whatever the new FotM unit is. Also they pump out so many new speed skills and barely any the works for slower units and they haven't increase the SI cap while also barely ever introducing prefodder for new skills.

Probably Aether Raids because it's probably where I get the most use out of some of my investments. I want to like Summoner Duels but that mode is way too sweaty to do anything fun in.
It totally sucks not having dagger Valor but at least we have double SP ATM so far everyone else is being trained quickly.

You know I’d be less annoyed by the 3H lords getting another alt if they weren’t the same as their previous versions just upgraded to fit current year. Granted that’s a problem the game has with alts in general. I’ve ranted about this before but for a game where the concept is summoning heroes from other worlds there could be a world where Edelgard is a Dagger Calvary. Dimitri is an armored mage. And Claude is an infantry sword so he can touch the ground and not be a ranged unit.

Rolling on the current 8% isn't bad. It has a lot of solid units to help fill out your roster when you have nothing. I think it goes away in 2 hours so good luck farming orbs. Just picking up modern units helps a ton, the newest christmas banner is supposed to be crazy as well.

Use your favorites, no need to focus too much on PvP unless you're planning on becoming a whale, just roll for characters you like instead of following the meta since units get powercrept every couple of months, don't worry too much about fodder for now, get a strong unit to help you cheese through PvE content (like Winter Edelgard for example)

Maybe you don't see them unless you are in the higher tiers. I've commonly seen L!Hinoka, Medeus, Freyr, L!Robin and Embla from time to time be used in off season in other's AR-D.

Greetings /feh/. I’m the anon from the previous thread who misunderstood the spark system and dumped a lot of orbs for Gullveig and said stuff about whaling.
Anyway, yesterday the banner ended and I spent a lot of orbs trying to get her before giving up and putting enough in my apple account to buy the FEH pass so I could get her from the spark I initially wanted. First and last time I’ll ever spend money on a gacha game. I also had enough leftover to get red flying Elincia’s resplendent so I got that and now I have a lvl 40 maxed one from before and a fresh new one I can use on her, still got some money in my account but that’s asides the point.
What I wanna get to is that now that I’ve spent money on this game, I’m tempted to get more into it and better at it. You guys have maxed out units and builds and can tell when a unit is OP on release, I guess what I wanna know is what should I look for and how can I “git gud” at FEH. I like a lot of the units I’ve pulled through the sheer power of luck and haven’t really experimented with my resources or stats too much. That’s to say, many of my lvl 40 ones have their base skills unlocked and leveled up with little inheritance. How do I know when a skill suits a unit, how do I learn the proper builds and team comparabilities for different units, what the frick do I do with fodder 3 stars and 4 stars that I have 0 interest in? I have so many questions and this game feels like it has so much in it to use and unlock and understand. Any help helps.

I just go there and copy any prf weapon build they got. Too low IQ to try and come up with my own almost all the time.
If you really need help with a build you are better off showing the unit you want to improve here and others may give advice than asking what the best units and skills to use are.
Bro I've been playing since release date and am a total luck shitter but started spending when feh pass happened and I got a high paying job. Literally just find your favorite characters in demotes and plus 10 them and spoil them woth crazy cool skills whenever you pull a 5 star and they stop being a bonus unit.
Or you know let that 5star rot in your barracks unused for years until they get a fancy refine that you use for a week. It's whatever. Use fodder on units you like so you don't have a billion manuals that are useless because you never merged and they already got skillcrept.
The meta can turn on a dime so don't chase after the tiers in the pvp stuff just have fun clearing the puzzle boss abyssals and putting tiny hats on your favorite units.

Best is pretty hard to gauge, they are all pretty dumb. Edelgard is good if you want an offensive armor, byleth is good if you want a defensive armor, dimitri is a good vantage tank, and zappy will kill pretty much anything you point her at but is made of tissue paper.
Bear in mind that this banner has multiple sparks if you wanna keep going for another one, though.
You can't go wrong with any of them really, I don't think there's a specific best
If I HAD to pick one though, go with Dimitri, because effects that remove statuses on the opponent are incredibly rare (pretty sure it's only on Duo Thorr's Duo skill rn), so all Dimitri has to worry about is Hardy Bearing to stop his Vantage once he gets going

If foe's HP > 25% has to be a very rare activation condition, and it's probably THE freest,
We should get a unit that sets their own HP to 1 at the start of the turn, and they receive an instant full heal when they drop to 0, that would be funny

Tempo 4 is probably the best option even if she had deadeye, but if you don't like it you can go with lull spd/def 4

Whoever made this build gave her assassin's strike but not flared sparrow too, huh? This is an odd build. I'm assuming they ripped this off a Yunaka or 2 but I wonder why didn't they inherit or at least put flared sparrow on this build especially since it is better than SS3 with 7 extra free damage, +1 more attack, and applies a terrain. I mean if they had SS3 they also had SS2 which is a prerequisite for FS anyway. This got to be a casual F2P and this poor optimization of skill inheritance has irked me.

That's just the japanese guidelines to pronounce the names, japan lacks a lot of the phonetics in their own to properly express pronouncing the "th" sound, so they resort to sound alikes.

For instance Gullveig pronounces the "v" as a "vee" noise when in old norse her name is pronounced as a "w" noise.

Wonder how the game determines your friend's team. I'm noticing most friends to team with are leading with units that aren't their normal lead, and there isn't exactly a way to set a team to use. Not that it matters much since you're fighting old ass level 35 units that do no damage to any modern unit.

Seeing armors like this really makes me wish that armors had a way to nullify null follow-up from the enemy since getting doubled is usually a bane to most armors especially since most fast units have a way to pierce DR/ignore high defenses.
I feel like that's kinda why they made Weaving Fighter, which offers you more DR on the foe's first attack if they can double you
"Foe cannot make a follow-up attack" means absolutely nothing now, so the best armors can do is try and mitigate the damage they can take with a skill like that and the armored Specials

I knew she'd be bad when she had terrible attack when she came out. Also I used dragons mostly so she was a none issue clinking off them due to over relying on her weapon effectiveness damage. That is why L!/Duo Chrom is good, he had great damage output on top of his effectiveness damage while Caeda hit like a noodle even against units she had effectiveness against.
From my extensive use of her you want to give her NCD4 in her B slot and outsource NFU through an allies skill or effect. This fixes most of her matchups outside brave weapons, AoE specials, chip damage or scowl effects assuming you can outspeed the opponent. You also would want to give her a way to passive heal like Céline/gatekeeper/L!Guinevere especially if she is forced to block bulky blue units like Freyr or chip damage onslaught from Gullveig(s). If you really want to bust through units then ally support her with L!Alear who will give her DR piercing.
As a standalone unit though she did fall off but with excellent support (depending on game mode) she is still workable. Just don't put her against the Christmas units she can't kill any of them I believe.

For me it's Farina. To be honest I cannot remember if I originally even recruited her in her own game. If I did, she left zero impression back then. But FEH's artwork of her has so much spunky charm, as does her voicework, that she really grew on me and I like fielding her whenever I can. As luck would have it I pulled a +Spd copy of her and another one for merging and now I find myself dedicated to try and build her to be the best pegasus knight on my roster. There are many lance flyers in the game and many who are far more competitive, but she is the one I want to use thanks to FEH having me rediscover her.
Honestly, Edelgard. I still don't like her character in Three Houses or Three Hopes but her gimmick is extremely fun in FEH. I even +10'd her base alt.

So in your case 41 res +5 you can hit anyone with 45 res or lower since it is < and not ≤. {Effectively get a 17, 27, or 47 attack swing depending on amount of hits}

Gain atk/res +6 and reduce closet enemy(s) by atk/res -6. Gives an effective +12 atk, +6 res, and +6 def for unit against enemy hit by skill.
TL;DR I'd say ploy is better overall but don't expect to hit modern tanks or bulky units with this skill since they tend to have 45+ res. So I recommend having phantom res if you plan to use the skill with units under 45 res to ensure you hit everyone currently.

Lucina's axe inflicts a debuff in combat equal to whatever debuff the foe has, and it inflicts -6 Atk/Def on every foe to help with that purpose
It's also got Tempo to bypass Guard and to stop opposing Special accel, and also NFU because of course it does
So, Hans could put it to good use, you already have Spd Smoke 4 as another debuff
I have this build with Shez, both Severa and Lucina were great fodder for her, and it feels like she's complete, for now at least
It's hard to say, but unless you have someone else who really wants/needs Lucina's fodder and axe (who would have to be cavalry too) you may as well give it to Hans just as an option, if you ever feel like his prf might come up short

From me doing quick math based off of story mode and paralogue orbs you can get ~2200 orbs. It is only enough to +10 one unit though at a 3% rate since you need on average 1500+ orbs.
1500 is sniping though right? I'd imagine chasing three colors at once could help significantly, and chain challenge is a ton more orbs
Yeah, this is assuming you're sniping one color. Also you have to take into account that you may get off banner 5* which will significantly increase the orb count especially when going more than one color.

I wouldn't know the exact math on that but if you are targeting both a red and colorless unit you need ~2800 orbs to +10 both.

most DR piercing specifies "from non-special skills", and so you have aegis, pavise, armored beacon, godlike reflexes, etc which cannot be pierced by such skills
vital astra is an exception that explicitly treats itself as non-special DR
All forms of DR piercing are templated like "Reduces (or disables) the effect of foe's non-special "reduces damage by x%" skills.
So any form of DR that isn't templated exactly like that, or DR that is based on your special (except vital astra for no reason lmao) bypass this reduction.
I think it's because that paet of Vital astra is treated like a passive, because for some ungodly reason they decided to make specials that also behave like passives

This is because what the DR piercing is trying to exclude is defensive specials whose effects are specifically to mitigate damage like Godly Reflexes, Ice Mirror.
Skills like Vital Astra and Armored Floe damahe reduction aren't the result of the special itself so should get pierced by Lethality and Deadeye

They probably regret adding Dodge to Vital Astra, like they thought "oh well to balance it out, it can be pierced by Deadeye and stuff" and then they realized how dumb that was because it meant the fast dodge tanks have a weakness, so they made Godlike Reflexes and the other new Specials just so there is DR that you cannot break through
So they started making effects like those instead, it's the cooler more valuable DR, not the lame pierceable DR
They made so much damage reduction to the point where it's expected if not the standard on literally every unit, so they just made Damage Reduction 2
If you want my guess it's likely a hidden value added specifically to the armored specials because they're locked to armors.
After all the whole point of armors is to defend and it'd be unnatural armor exclusive skill to be as brittle as the frail infantry tool.
I have a feeling terrains will introduce this status condition at some point since they are what IS is releasing this season. Can't wait for guidance and other skills to be outdated when we eventually get warp terrains!

Never buy orbs for the purpose of buying orbs. If there is something you are guaranteed to get out of the pack that you want, like one of the bundles that has a unit, or a buttplug or whatever, go for it, but never spend money on orbs.
good value compared to the new normal prices, if you would normally buy orbs the large packs at worse match the normal price with added benefit and the smaller packs have a better value slightly.
If you're gonna whale, get the binding worlds thing. It's super expensive but you're guaranteed to get a very strong pre-whaled and flowered unit that you find in Binding Worlds and you get like half the spark of a banner.

Scowl didn't disable Shez's GLR because it's a defensive Special, so it always remained active against her
While with VA, I let Rhea initiate on Mareeta with only VA active (removed her Close Call 4 for this) and she still mitigated the damage, but then it got decharged when she actually retaliated
So the actual passive effects should remain

Is Byleth really that busted? I shouldn't be surprised though, since it seems to me like Edelgard does the exact same thing. Solo'ing maps no questions asked, braindead to the point I was shocked when a harmless looking green unit managed to get some real damage in once within 20 maps or so.
For Far Save I'm currently relying on Corrin, and for canto cavalry nuke, I'm still relying on Tea Time Ayra. But both feel like they are starting to fall off already, so I'm unsure which to prioritize.
Corrin is strong but her inability to pierce through opposing DR (despite getting quite a lot of it herself) means she will struggle against say, Wind Claude or hell, even Yunaka herself, and she is also susceptible to counter denial
Byleth doesn't have to worry about any of that, Supreme Heaven does pierce through opposing DR, and his counterattack can't be denied, and for that matter neither can his Special because he also nullifies opposing Guard
Ayra is also strong, but she also has no innate DR piercing, and just relies on basically hitting the foe with two strong Specials at the same time, but such effects can be heavily mitigated nowadays
Yunaka doesn't have to worry about that either, but I also feel like there's going to be more units like her in the future, whereas a DC sword armour with Far Save and Null C-Disrupt built in and all the other super bullshit effects Byleth has, I don't think we'll be seeing that again for a while

Because for as powerful as Byleth is, I kinda think Yunaka's more fun to use anyway, because Byleth just slowly moves around the map while Papaya lady dashes through the snow and sets stuff on fire, then gets to move again
So if you like Yunaka more, that's really the most important factor

Winter Byleth is virtually immune to dying except to really high level pvp shenanigans, and even then you tend to have to build to specifically deal with them. I am pretty sure they can solo literally every piece of pve content in the game on autobattle, except maybe for those handful of old "clear out all the enemies in x turns" maps maybe. I'm genuinely scared for the state of the metagame when it comes to pvp, because byleth is just so fricking stupid that they are gonna have to turbo powercreep again in the near future just to make them less of an issue.
Depends on what you need more of, a super sturdy Far Save tank, or a cavalry nuke that simultaneously gets a lot of DR and can pierce a lot of DR at once both at the same time?
Fwiw I feel like the Byleths will age better if only because I actually cannot think of any ranged unit that can get past 'em, whereas Yunaka does have to fear effects that pierce DR when she exchanges blows, and those effects are just gonna become increasingly common

They're all good, yes.
They score just as well as tier 3 skills now when fully upgraded and can be used to patch up bad stats or an alternative to using fury or push skills since there is literally no drawback to the skills, they are just free stats.
more HP is great, especially when you have DR, and then +3/+3 stats is not much lower than catch, sparrow, etc while also being dual phase
similarly, +3/+3/+3 is perfect since most characters don't use all four stats and there's no downside otherwise
They're the best Squad Assault Seals we've gotten yet since they boost three stats now, and they boost them fully (+5 HP, +3 to other stats) as opposed to just +4 HP and +2 to the other stats
They're quite worth it if you have nothing else to use, and can help alleviate a bane
They're not bad, especially foe characters like Eir/summer Ymir that have hp scaling.

You don't necesarily need special spiral to loop aoes, if you have brobin you just need a blade effect and in some game modes you don't need it to loop, the new inheritable bow also allows you to loop aoe's, for most units precharging the aoe is more difficult then looping it but nino only needs one pulse.

Man, those all suck huh, definitely some of the worst possible IVs for all of those units.
I'd evaluate it in terms of which one you are likely to use most. Robin for example, probably only matters if you care about arena, Karla if your selection of heroes/blazing blade units is bad for shit like resonant battles, Elise is generically good, but not specific to any mode I would say.
I do feel like a -spd hurts more than a -atk on a speedy unit.
Robin might aswell be unaffected since his support is what's broken about him rather than his personal performance.
Attack bane is mostly meaningless these days. You're usually gonna get

>+7 from your A skill
>+6 from your seal
>deal 15-20% of another stat as true damage
>Reduce the enemy defense by anywhere between 4 to 14
>Do 5-10 raw damage because why the frick not
>Proc a Special on top of this
And 90% of the cases you're going to either obliterate whatever you're facing or do absolutely no damage due to a myriad of skills. A 3 Atk deficit difference is nowhere close to make a difference in most match-ups
Karla's usually just gonna one shot whatever she initiates on so technically she doesn't need Spd, and she shreds through any DR anyway
Robin's stats are pretty inconsequential because usually he's just gonna be there to support
So I'd go with Elise

I'd say it is a slight downgrade to the Darkbow since it gives NFU, desperation on initiation, and neutralizes penalties. It also has higher might over GYB. The Golden Yule bow guarantees your special as long as the enemy isn't running scowl effects which are becoming more common and being added to non-dragon units now.
I ended up giving it to Brave Claude and being able to instacharge Deadeye, on a free bow at that, rather than needing to exchange blows is wild
Wind Parthia still heals and has more stats and NFU though, so I just find it to be a fun little sidegrade or tool he can put to good use as long as the foe is debuffed

I'll be looking to build Yune and Elincia. Skills like Desperation 4, WoM4, Escape Route 4 exist but Yunaka's won't be available yet. Clause's bow won't be available either.
There's Far Trace for some Canto, or Spd/Def Snag 4 so you can control where the debuffs go, or you could try Escape Route 4 + Fury seal so you can have at least some fixed Canto

From throwing it in the duel sim, it seems a max invested Reinhardt (Flared Mirror, Occultist's Strike, Incite Atk Spd, DB echo) can barely beat a completely uninvested Byleth with Atk Res Form seal, but once the Byleth gets flowers, he survives and 1-shots Rein.

Bonus Doubler 4. That's an easy +10 to all stats all the time. While her "+7 dmg if Special strikes" obviously wants her to have "strike with Special all the time," the cooldown that Flash Sparrow grants is easily replaced by numerous other S-Skills or allies.
Though... I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to relieve my Atk/Spd Prime's "counterattack" effect, in my opinion. It's not inherent with her, but she DOES already get at least 2 Bonuses just by existing anyway...
Also, is that Beast Trace or Beast Follow-Up? I'd claim she does not want either; her weapon already guarantees BOTH Canto and Null-Follow Up. If you really do want the "removes transform" condition, though, see if "Beast Sense 4" is available in the forma pool --- WAY better for her. That "all Spd comparisons +7" is super on top of her transform and infliction.

I don't understand the point of this unit. She feels like she was made to counter unity strats, but those have already been countered to death in so many ways. What's even worse is the way she's ramped up the current worst effect in the game - pre-combat damage - to absurd levels. With a Flared skill and Triandra support, she can take most units in the game under the 25% HP threshold that we've been joking about for years instantly. Think about how many units she completely turns off before she lands a single hit. This is the most absurd unit IS has ever released.
Oh yeah, and because she's a flier we get the joy of having yet another unstoppable unit Hinoka can fire directly up our buttholes in AR. What fun!
They realized DR is fricking everywhere and is problematic so it's biggest counter is true damage both mechanics are fricking awful.
I would believe that was their reason for doing so if they also hadn't been pushing DR reduction and negation effects for months prior. They had already been handing out ways to mitigate DR, this shit is unnecessary, and Camilla is even more unnecessary for having BOTH.
Honestly, I'm pretty pissed about the state of things because as awful as DR is on modern units, it was also the only thing propping up two of my older favorites, Haar and B!Ike. Now it feels like I've wasted resources on them.

Easier way to tell is that it doesn't have a number attached to it so it has to have an older skill as a prerequisite. Savage Blow debuted as a skill for her base class anyway so it's just logical to assume.

Not sure if she would be on the HoF. FEH HoF tend to be somewhat themed. The last two were nearly entire banners with one being the book 2 summer banner and the other being 3 characters from the valentines banner/tt. The first one wasn't very structured, and it's hard to say if they would even do something like that with base fjorm being on the banner.

Ogma was popular enough that he was the most requested after Marth and just any Fire Emblem representative for Melee before it released. He carried a lot of players and Navarre was the logical swordsman alternative so the debates helped fuel their popularity. That was decades ago though, you can't really say they'd carry the same appeal after so long especially in a gacha game.

First is Summer M Shez; Canto, dual phase Brave, a lot of true damage, what an incredible free unit
We're seeing more protection from Brave hits nowadays but I feel like he'll still do very well, especially since I've given mine Gambit
Second is Cornelia, because being able to sit back and inflict the counter denial status from afar so you can wreak havoc without (usually) fearing retaliation is very fun
And finally, NY Askr, combining power, tankiness, and support all in one
leg Seliph for the absolute glow up he got, he was able to tank everything in freyr's abyssal except freyr himself, the Christmas units are also really fun.
If we're counting refines and remixes then I'm gonna have to count Legendary Seliph too, he really went from zero to hero

Hard to say, I liked a lot. I enjoyed the book 7 OCs, FKana is getting an alt, Veyle was nice, Anankos actually got it, and the list goes on.
My favorite would probably be Mark duo with Lyn. Mark was a never ever, and a duo with Lyn felt like a pipe dream as she was a lead in a duo already. I'm not sure I'll ever have enough orb to +10 them with all the characters I want.
Syrene, Mark&Lyn duo and Isadora are characters I've been hoping and waiting for. L Camilla makes me sad because she colourshares with L Xander, we are still missing Lancemilla, and I have no orbs to roll with.
100% Legendary Camilla. I've been running her with turn 1 AoE in SD and it's amazing to watch her crush all the Far Save tanks. Plus I got insanely stupid lucky and +10'd her in 1300 orbs.
A close second and third would have to be Isadora and Rearmed Plumeria. Isadora is really pretty, her stat swing against enemies is helpful, and she got a shockingly good Prf (NFU and DR on top of Bonus Doubler and Foe Penalty Doubler). Plumeria is cute and I love fairies, so she just wins.
Waifu who stole her brothers bow and gave it back to him was my favorite for making me feel like Archers were great again I uninstalled after +10ing her, felt like a good stopping point. I come on here every now and then to check the latest word

How do you score well in that mode? Never bothered figuring it out.
You fill your team with the latest legendaries you have (except the last slot) then you make sure you have WTA against the enemies you kill (colorless have to kill other colorless)
your brute force has you lucking out anon, the mode rewards pair ups and many, but not all legendaries have Pair Up bonus
also don't forget that each week you do it adds to your bonus, as well as friends playing too

I feel like this is what helps you score at least well enough to get the score reward, just doing it enough times (alongside your friends)
I don't always optimize the team when I do it, I usually just send a few Legendaries that match the season, fight WTA and then that's enough to get the 950 score
The ranking reward probably will require optimization but that's just if you want more flowers I believe
It's similar to Arena. I used to score over 1000 without legendaries just using my normal Arena team, but then I decided the way AB is makes it a pain in the ass to use units with Rallys that also don't have good movement options like warping/canto, so I started settling on a 990+ score using lesser merged units that have better movement options along with Reposition instead, still without legendaries.
Basically all I wanted to say was you don't really need legendaries if your only goal is to score 950+ like me. Just use units with high BST as if you were playing Arena. My team is

>168 bst +4 unit
>2 +10 units with Duel 4
And I'm almost scoring 1k, so you don't *really* need to worry about the week's elemental seasons.

said, if you didn't already know, killing with color advantage gets you more points, and killing with your friend's unit gets you even more points, so if you have a blue friend, make sure they kill all red foes rather than using your own blue unit if you brought one.
