It's good, but it's also the fact that it + Dragon's Wall basically does everything that HMyrrh's Prf and default B do, and more, and I gave my Rearmed Grima Dragon's Wall because I was feeding the first one to Winter Fae anyway.
I'm always surprised whenever I watch a AR replay and most people who use Reginn don't change her base kit. I can understand people not wanting to change her A skill since it is serviceable but her B and C slot can be changed with better skills. I personally believe her best B and C are:
>B-skills:Pass, hit and run, lunge, drag back, or Flow skill.
Skills that allow her to maneuver around, disrupt enemy formation or guarantee her attacks are quite powerful.
>C-skills: fatal smoke, pulse smoke, savage blow, or feud skills
Honestly her current C skill panic smoke doesn't do her any favors. Chipping away health, disabling specials, preventing healing or guaranteeing kills against certain enemies favor her more than panicking them nowadays.
Probably because she is not worth the investment in a majority of cases. Swapping out the Lull for a low cost but valuable skill like Hit and Run gives her some versatility but why upgrade her when you can just run Brave Seliph with that gimmick and have a much more threatening unit.
Personally I don't use Reginn unless it's her bonus week, and when it is she's just a movement assist bot. If she can score kills it's usually not intended.
Well without her and assuming people don't roll for every mythic she is sort of necessary to open the last slot on offense. So if you have to bring her along why not put the smallest of investment? But I do agree there are better units to run over her.

pretty much all my units have base kit + resposition
I'm in the high tiers of AR and people still keep some units at base kit despite some skills being better for them. Obviously don't waste rare resources on a unit you don't plan to use or as the bench warmer unit you use only to score higher. The issue is seeing +10 offensive mythic units keeping base kit when they can do more. Like giving Thórr galeforce and WoM or giving Naga LoD to boost visible atk/spd to soak chills and towers.

I regret getting Y!Caeda. She was a bit of a novelty to use but her damage tends to fail to kill even with the weapon effectiveness advantage she has going for her.
A forma I don't use would have to be Winter Fae. I got her to be my far save tank but after the introduction of Gay boi Chrom I sadly had to bench her.
My favorite forma would have to be Kempf. His ability to attack into enemies and hamper them with chip damage and blinding them so his partners can perform clean up easier. I tend to team him up with Walhart so he makes Kempf initiation easier.

The only other Forma I used was for Halloween Myrrh, I still get mileage out of her because her prf is pretty strong
I really wish I had picked up Myrrh especially when after she got a refine but you know hindsight is 20/20.

Nagi can run Svalinn's Shield and the DC Seal though, can't she? And she's due for a refine at some point soon
I've kind of just had to accept that Svalinn's Shield is just somehow the best A skill for Far Save tanks because of the threat of Duo Chrom
Even if I'm losing out on stats and Guard or Dull or whatever by forgoing better A skills, it would mean survival against one of the dumbest units they ever made

Spring Idunn's DUO button is the only effect that can nullify dragon weakness as far as I know.
She can, but you lose out on the potential bulk that can come from an A/S slot. It partially hampers her survivability, is all. Not to mention Chrom has WTA anyway and, if invested, will likely be doubling her.
People will cry about Julia and the other dragonslayers being useless if they release a way to null bestial weaknesses.

There may be hope for Winter Sothis refine in January. She doesn't have innate DC in her weapon nor was she given out to practically everyone.
There WAS a Winter Sothis orb pack at one point though...
It is doubtful that all but mostly whales bought it so it wasn't as cheap as Mythic Sothis which was $4.99 vs iirc $30 but could be bought twice. But who knows she might get screwed again by IS for this or listen to the backlash by throwing us a bone after the Mythic remix incident.

As supremely bloated as the red pool is, you can still get some sort of fodder out of it like Reposition from Selena, Fury from Hinata, all your common but typical stuff that some unit you have could probably find a use for
As long as common 3* and 4* healers exist, they will always pollute the colourless pool and make it so unbearable to summon on, and since nearly every one of them either has incomplete fodder (as in, you can't even get any Lv 3 skills from them at 4* which they only started with Nanna) or lame fodder (like Def/Res 2 from Lena)

Both seem to be about the same really, since I'm full of repo fodder and who uses fury 3 on 2022. Also colorless has a repo fodder too now I think.

The Armour Beasts would have to just be other Lions like Caineghis at least (or, God forbid, Fallen Edelgard alts).
There are some bow wielding armored characters from the main series like Hannibal or Lorenz (the one from Archanea) that could be added as red/green bow armors, but IS seems to be hell-bent on keeping ranged armors seasonal exclusive.

What do you do when your barracks are full? How do you organise your reserves?
Manual all 3*/4* you aren't ever going to build or at least keep a single copy and manual the duplicates. That is what I do at least. I gave up organizing the reserves other than two boxes for grail units and the remainder for whatever I feel like dumping in the rest, usually it's 3*/4* units from the summoning pool but a single copy.

With her current Res value she already debuffs -10 on Atk and Res, increasing her Res to 56 would increase that to -11. The question here is what would be more beneficial:

Which refresher should I use alongside Askr, Sylvia or Tethys? Both have Infantry Pulse, and with Askr's C skill and Quickened Pulse, he can one-tap Galeforce.
Sylvia has Florid Cane and I gave her Flashing Blade so she can two-tap Galeforce (if she can outspeed and get those two hits in) thanks to Askr's C skill dropping Galeforce down to 4 charge, then her weapon gives her Canto so she can position herself a bit better afterwards.
Tethys has Temari so she can provide Atk and Spd debuffs to the whole team for support, but can't use Galeforce.
I use the same build on Silvia and I can vouch that it's stupidly fun (though I unfortunately don't have Askr). You want a high HP unit for Infantry Pulse anyway, and Silvia gets both more at base and more from a weapon refine.
Finally got a Volke for Lethality.
Should I give it to Yuri? I feel like that'd be more helpful or stronger than an AoE build since it can pierce through DR and all.
What game mode? If it's AR or general use then for sure. If it's SDs then you'd need a supporting Ymir to cleanse group debuffs because Stall is everywhere.
It's for AR and general purpose yeah. Askr can help charge Lethality too, but my Yuri is only neutral and unmerged so I'm just wondering if Lethality alone is enough to bust through and one shot anything, particularly Save tanks nowadays. I guess my next question is how common Hardy Fighter is, since Lethality can't pierce through Aegis.

Is arcane grima better than base Idunn's prf?
Depends on build but since most people use tanks for tanking I'd say no, her Prf is probably the best breath she can use. Her Prf gives armor effectiveness ( which is rather negligible for a tank but allows her to tank bust other tanks so not bad), +4 all stats (which is ok), neutralizes own penalties (really good skill for a tank), spendthrift effect (great effect which effectively gives +5 atk/def/res), and 70% DR if foe doubles on the first hit.
I'll say Arcane Grima is a great alternative over her Prf still since slaying, auto doubles, and healing is amazing too. I believe prf is better only marginally but both are viable.
Idunn's PRF post-refine is plenty strong. If this is a case of "spoil your favorites" then go ahead and give her Arcane Grima, but outside of that there are other dragons who need it way more.

Given Yuri's frailty I think it's best to give him anything that directly boosts his damage rather than going for Specials, if you want to charge those you use his Time's Pulse and other similar skills
Atk/Spd Ideal 4 is a good skill on him though, since that's always gonna give him +7 Atk/Spd at the very least since it counts for [Bonus], which he'll always get with his +1 Mov
I gave my Yuri Life and Death 4 to boost his AoE spam damage.

One copy is fine enough to do the job, although her damage output may be lacking at times, while you can save Hardy Fighter and A/R Far Save for any other Save tank of choice that can also do a good job

Oh okay, that's a bit disappointing to be honest. I thought thay had some good gimmick build.
Like the other anon said, there's not much. If you try to go full offensive build, they will always be held back by no offensive special, no good offensive staves, occasionally awful inheritance restrictions, and needing to sacrifice their B-skill to be more than an objectively worse mage. If you try to go full support, there's not many great support staves (though Nyna just came with the best one), healing isn't great compared to self-sustain, there's no good way to activate balms if you're using a movement staff, there's no powercreep support skills unlike offensive skills (ie, there's several C-skills that can buff/penalize in-combat, but no A-skill provides support to allies), and even if you slap as many support skills as you can they're immediately negated by CFeud (which I've seen several times on tryhard teams to counter Elimine/Flayn).
Honestly, just pray we get an Arcane staff that's halfway decent.

I'd hope this isn't what they decide to do for Askr trio merges. I'd rather it be done a series of missions or through the currencies we already have to be as f2p as possible.
Perhaps let us keep a friend's unit by using a new forma soul currency at the end of the binding worlds event. It'll most likely have the same stipulations as HoF formas no merges, dragon flowers, traits and keep only the skills that are equipped and in base kit only.

Got Seiros on my 4th roll and Embla on my 11th. Would've preferred Vero or either of the other blues to Seiros but it's pretty decent luck so far, considering I only had like 65 orbs. If I'd known they were going to introduce both a lego and mythic at once I wouldn't have blown my entire orb stash a couple weeks ago. Hopefully I can still eke out enough to get Vero.

For me its because I realized that there's no point in summoning new units. Everything is bound to get powercrept anyway, so when I roll for new units it's usually the one that has a long shelf life like S!Edelgard, F!Edelgard and S!Thorr compared to others that become obsolete 2-3 months after release.
At this point I'm more interested in using my orbs for revival banners to +10 my favorite early gen units.
I started losing interest in AR recently and Embla's addition only exacerbated the issue. I'm still enjoying everything else, even SD is occasionally fun.
Honestly, I just want alts for my favorites. The game feels stale when you don't have new toys to play with, keeping up with the meta becomes impossible using old units and I don't want to roll for characters I don't like, no matter how strong they are.
I want to see staves get another rework. They really need more skills that more meaningfully support the party, healing skills in particular are rather lame nowadays and should give some kind of variety of buffs or protections for the various BS that exists in the game now. Most of the crazy shit powercreep units can give everyone should've taken up a party slot on a staff unit. I'm sort of surprised healing rallies weren't even a thing when they were adding in more of those a while back, the best we got was movement skills with a heal.
I would like to see that too, but I doubt it would happen. Staves are locked in this weird spot where they can technically always be useful on paper because of Grav/pain/flash, and IS doesn't seem to want to change that outside of selling PRF staff units.
I wouldn't mind seeing more armor staves in the game, they have interesting build combinations.

No, the game has been showing its age for years at this point, the gacha system is absolutely terrible when you compare it to the many other games that have been released since then and the powercreep is out of control even if I appreciate the addition of Arcane weapons. At this point the only thing that would make me regain genuine interest in the game would be a rework of the entire game from the ground up. I'm also getting tired of the events that are not TT because at least that one gives a big amount of orbs, the rest have all become a hassle to manage.
And don't make me start on PvP modes, those alone are singlehandledy killing this game.

I don't know on anything about the actual odds of getting her, but if you like/want units on the 8% then it might just be better to roll now. at least you could get characters you want on this over being pity broken by characters you might not care about.

Fortunately, Merrybilis with a Broadleaf Fan is able to oneshot both of them. Olivia got the kill on Vero, but Broadleaf-Lethality was absolutely necessary for Embla.

No, that'll be a Special Heroes banner. New Heroes is always the main pool banner. That does mean we can expect a FEH Channel in about 11-12 days though, since they always open a new book with a FEH Channel.

the game does a solid job of telling you if your unit will die during combat, it's figuring out why your 99atk blue mage can't kill a 0res sword unit that can be a pain. Honestly If you actually like FE you can still have some fun just logging in to collect orbs, enjoying the dumpster fire story/TT, and doing the monthly PVE stuff like hero battles. from what I gather a decent amount of people now seem to just log in for orbs, and roll on favorites.

I went full moron because I've been saving nearly everything since day one. Some of the new paragraph skills just shut my brain off because I play so casually. Fortunately for me I'm an absolute luck shitter and get great fodder units that I never even consider merging. I usually merge season one guys since the best they can offer is like home fliers.
I'm thinking of becoming a dolphin one day and getting like the customization bonuses. And for example are the hormized units on sale even worth it? I could see budgeting for one of the hinoa Camilla packs but it doesn't really seem worth. I also hear a lot about people getting the packs and then refunding them at an orb deficit lmao.
Besides my problem with hoarding I can never come up with "fun" builds. I play so casually I'm stuck in some basic b***h mindset of haha goad and ward and spur go brrrrrrr. I live in rank 17-18 for pvp but understand the arena assault became the new real pvp along with the summoner duels which just take too long for me to care about.

Finally got Vital Astra for Legendary Dimtiri, now he's got a fun new tool to try out.

It's pretty neat, because I gave him Atk/Spd Finish 4 too, and Time's Pulse to precharge it. With that and his Atrocity, hejust shreds through enemies, while the Finish skill helps keep him topped off. Sometimes I've even been able to activate VA twice in a single combat. And then the NFU Seal lets him get past follow-up denial.

Yup, VA is from Ascended Mareeta. Good for both damage and also damage reduction.

I really like Hubert too but from what I seen of his representation in Heroes I doubt he'll be treated well until a new alt. He is practically a common pool unit but 5* only due to his inf. hexblade skill and it was like that even when he was realized he really needed to be demoted.

Why does everyone think we're getting improved Askr shitters instead of a new "main character" legend/mythic? Considering that the story is getting more serious, it wouldn't be farfetched to think that we would be getting a new plot relevant "permanent" party member.
Legends and mythics are units that you can pull and merge. This mystery box is covering the slot designated for Askrs which indicates it's some sort of unit similar to them, be it a new one like OG Veronica or an update to the actual trio with a new design they don't want us to see.
If it was the new freebie book OC they wouldn't be on this bonus rotation, they'd be alongside whatever the new banner ends up being and not tossed in here with Ganglot and friends.
Fjorm is a unit you can pull and merge though and she ended up there too.
Though the thing about bonus rotations may have a point, at the same time the new book (which gives away the new OC) begins in 3 days and that is quite literally the only banner that could have the new unit that is appearing in the upcoming season.
I dunno, to me it just seems more plausible for it to be some new OC than it being related to improved/ascended Askr units (even OG Veronica with new stats and a new kit sounds more plausible).
The thing with Fjorm was years ago and they have long stopped doing it. Last time she was there was like 2019 or something. Unless there's an incredible shakeup coming they won't be doing that again.

Arena has suffered from having too few bonus units as long as I can remember, and just having a constant version based bonus unit selection would be amazing. The 4* special thing is also pretty cool, I mostly just hope that they are obtainable more than just through that.

Remember, if they haven't fixed it by now, it's likely an intentional design choice to better line their pockets. Every "Do 5 or 10 clears of Training Tower floor X" is designed to be tedious unless you have FEH pass. Every lack of a summoning pool decision encourages you buy FEH pass and more orbs. If it's an old problem that hasn't been fixed, it never will be.
Been my own conclusion for a good bit as well. Sucks, but always had a nudging of optimism keeping me from calling it quits.
Too Much. Writing, quality of life, creativity of execution, difficulty adjustments for some single player modes, little touches to make the game more lively and such.

Seidr has 47 visible Res. Units on the backline of your defense need to have at least 30 Res to avoid having their turn deleted. Units placed in the second row need at least 33.

Honestly, they gave it way too many restrictions to be consistently useful. Only works every other turn, only works on closest enemy, and much more difficult to activate from range. And she's on the season with two powerful +res defense mythics. I just don't see it being that useful in AR. She's probably made for SD.
I wouldn't be so sure. I had to fight two teams this week that used Mirablis + Arval + Fortress Res + Res Tactic + Chill Res + Phantom Res to push B!Catria's Res as high as possible. Wouldn't have been able to false start her if Elimine didn't have Phantom Res herself and if N!Lagjarn wasn't soaking the Chill Res.

Feel like Marth need guaranteed follow-up or something in his weapon when being initiated against to use his weapon against some enemies.
Nah's really good I think, you get the Special accel status for a turn, and then she has both Bonus Doubler for herself and Bonus Doubler that checks for a nearby ally's stats, in addition to +8 to all stats for herself
So with that Def/Res buff she can get +20 Def/Res just for existing
The issue is finding a way to give allies full stat buffs to make Nah work optimally. The only way I see it working to it's full potential is running her with Legendary Eliwood with a full team of units with the same attack and some way to give everyone a res buff.

Hubert is quite good as a support unit imo
Kronya feels like one of the least improved refines in a while, but her base effect is so good that it doesn't matter that much. Hubert is definitely the most inproved, but he's still not good, and Nah would be surprisingly good as an alternative to Brave Lucina support for Brave Ike if Brave Ike were still usable.
No comment on the duos though, I really don't give a shit about either of them and haven't even read Marth's effect.

Units with followup denial (not NFU) also tend to be slow. They're not trying to be real speedsters, just being fast enough to outdo those in the slow and middling speed section. Though now that Still Water exists, the argument for pure Atk/Res investment is stronger than it used to be.

1. I got another Fjorm so I can fodder off Hardy Fighter and I've got two recipients, Brave Hector and Ascended Idunn. Which one should I give it to?

I actually already have Far Save on Idunn and while she's strong I feel like without some method of reducing damage like with Sacred Cowl or something then she's more prone to getting beaten down, but without an offensive Special I feel like she might miss the mark on damage. Meanwhile Hector doesn't have to worry too much there because of his follow-up attack, and he's also easier to merge up if I really wanted to do that (or if I get lucky and get him as free summons).
And 2. I can finish my 40 summons tomorrow so I can get another Ascended Mareeta, this time I'll probably merge her up because I like her. My current one is also +Spd -HP, but I used the Floret to patch up -HP. If I merge the neutral one to my current copy, does she become +Spd +HP? And if I do the reverse, does she only become +Spd? Is it possible to say, use the Floret to get +Atk on the neutral copy, then merge the +Spd and I'd have +Atk and +Spd or does it not work like that?
Hard to say, bector probably needs the stats from some merges to make up the generational difference, but it feels weird to give idunn far save when they already have close save. Either way, both of them cover the use cases of when you can't use fjorm, so either or should be fine.

IMO Colorless has the best average for getting something good and Red has the best things you can potentially get, but all of them have definite stinkers.

Already got it, my grand total for 350 orbs is two Ophelias, one being from spark. I then spent more on greens hoping to get a copy of Seidr and got an Astrid and at that point I truly gave up.

Matthew, Seliph, Sophia were merged, and built, and had some flowers on them. They were fun to use at the time of their refines/divine tyrfing, but eventually it wasn't enough or I just got a much better unit anyways.

I used my ole reliable Nino. Surprisingly she did quite well picking up the necessary kill each match. The only downside was she couldn't kill units that neutralizes her blue buffs but she excelled at matches against units like Gunnthrá since she'd eat the debuff and my other unit with harsh command+ would reverse them giving her a heavy attack swing .

I already use Fae as a scorebot so I just had to give her a kill while Dimitri took care of the rest.
I really like that we no longer are forced to use the Askr trio anymore to score well in arena. Only issue is that everyone will need a unit that is +10 in each book to consistently score well which I believe hurts newer players.
These weeks with variable bonus units aren't going to be every week, according to datamines the next one isn't for another month.
Damn that is disappointing. I guess it is so whales don't get upset probably. At least there is a change of pace from time to time to use the old heroes assuming they don't get terribly powercrept by units like Fallen Edelgard in the future that require a skill or BST check to even kill them.
I went with Cecilia, she's decked out to take down most LChroms, and thanks to the WTA + Flying effectiveness she was able to take out LMyrrh and Ninja Laegjarn.

Tomes were supposed to represent Anima, Dark and Light as the magic version of Axe, Sword and Lance, but the problem is that they rarely release inheritable tomes as it is, especially good ones, and now colorless tomes made things even more complicated.
Nah, Red/Blue/Green tomes should all be separate still, but allow colorless units to inherit tomes of any color and they now function as colorless tomes, but it's just one way, can't do Red > Colorless > Blue or something.

The real bad thing about rearmed heroes is them not being in the standard pool after the banner ends, if you could just be off bannered by one and get inarguably the best inheritable weapon for a weapon type, they'd be worlds better.

I'd give it a year or so more before we start running into full teams of ranged cavs with Embla's shit baked into their kit. NFU was around for a while (One of the dream Corrins pretty early IIRC?) before it became omnipresent enough on fast unit Prfs for guaranteed followup/followup denial to feel meaningless more often than not.
Follow-up denial seems pointless now but guaranteed follow-ups can still work as a pseudo-NFU for units with usable speed, funnily enough.
At this point my old guaranteed follow-up armors are better at killing the odd enemy tank I come across (basically just the half-dozen variations of Edelgard left at this point) via that pseudo-NFU, than any "squishy" attacker they manage to get into melee range of

The units are fine, but they don't feel too game breaking other than Seidr herself, and the banner has a garbage staff unit on it in Dwyer, so I don't think people are gonna want to vote for that.

Isn't running Null follow-up and oath 4 redundant on Lysithia? She has a guaranteed follow-up and if opponent has null follow-up it turns into a speed check. And for oath 4 wouldn't atk/spd menace be better since she already has the teleport in her Prf and she'd get a better stat swing with effective +6 atk,+6def/res, and +12 spd vs +9 atk/spd assuming out speeding is the main goal for doubling?
If the opponent has follow up negation as well as guaranteed follow up neutralization (Maltet+hardy fighter, for example), she needs NFU to double.
The +3 atk/spd during combat from oath is more consistent than the debuffs from menace, which can be usually negated or avoided.

Well, it's worth noting that any hardy fighter armor can easily get that combo now thanks to Seidr.

Regular DC actually isn't in HoF anymore, you can only roll the upgraded versions.

For C skills, if you have it, you could give him a Rouse 4 skill because that comes with Null Panic built in, and it'll give him some stat buffs to work with before he uses an Assist or his ally uses an Assist to activate his skills
Otherwise, something simple like a Drive skill would do just fine, or Infantry related skills if you're gonna use him alongside other infantry

Depends on the unit I guess? Semi related but I saw on YouTube that the "normies" as it were (not sure what else to call them since they aren't really casuals) are trying to set up a Book 1-4 repository for people. I took a look and it's empty as frick right now (probably 20 entries across every FE game combined) but I might check back into it eventually if it fills up.
Anyway we might as well all ask here if anyone wants one of our Book 1-4 units.

I was thinking more in the way of "someone finds a unit they didn't know they might want a forma of", like a diamond in the rough. For people like me who like the idea of messing around with units but can't bring themselves to go all in on builds.
Personally I've seen and like the Serra build you run, I really like the voice lines they gave her pre-resplendent form but could never bring myself to pay up, so to speak.
the only units I have that are book 1-4, fully kitted out with abilities are NY eir, and the Free forma souls I used on Summer Laeg/Laev/Gunnthra.
So if anyone wants them I can share. Summer Laev's kit is underwhelming, and might not be worth it unless you also want a merge.
I made them in the unit builder if anyone wants to look at. the Laev one was kind of shitty so I didn't bother because her only decent skills were atk/res catch4, and panic smoke.

Why is Phina so popular as the prime Allegiance Battles dancer candidate? Is it just the Rapier and its dual effectiveness?
It's more that she has Vantage in tandem with the dual-eff. It's the only weapon with that combo, and being on a dancer just makes it better since she can do all the fighting on Enemy Phase and dance freely.
Seriously, she's very underrated. Give her the right kit and everything green, armored or cavalry just explodes. I've had Abyssal runs where Phina just eats half the map.
