It's my first time playing one of these games and my team is underleveled and underequipped as frick. I don't think I've every even used the gambits your talking about. Half my characters don't even have battalions because their authority is too low.

Because the rest of the levels were easy as frick. Just rush the commanders and kill them. This is the only one where I don't see any way of winning. All my hero relics are broken and none of my characters except dimitri, catherine, sylvain and byleth can oneshot any of the enemies. I am fricked.
Go left and rush the named mage, most mages leave after that. If you have someone with rally that boosts resist do it on ally thats targeted by magic attacks. Use a gambit on the monster with someone that can tank a hit or two from it, or break all of its armor if you can so its stunned the next turn

Maybe it's time to learn batallions. There are some batallions that are available to units with low authority. You can literally buy them at the market.
I rather not rub it in too much so instead I'll ask: Who did you marry and why?
stack res and a retribution gambit, put that unit into siege tome range, and they're dealt with
Check which characters have the most Resistance and bait the mages with them. Usually it should be Mercedes, Annete or Flayn. You can also buy an item in the shop that gives them extra Res temporarily, use it.
Just kill them all.

she has high agility and can hit twice due to her crest (in other word, she can hit up to 8 times) with very high crit on top that.

Have you ever used sniper Shamir with hunter's volley? She's literally a delete button, and she doesn't need to rely on a low % crest

3H is the easiest game in the series. You can literally turn back time if you frick up. How?
Turning back time doesn't help when you can't actually kill the enemies before they snipe you from the other side of the map, this is just a shitty map.

It's not a shitty map. Fire Emblem seems like a strategy game at first but it's actually a puzzle game. You were used to solving the same puzzle with the same solution and now they just gave you a different puzzle, you need to solve it differently. There are plenty of tools you can use to deal with long range attacks, like a battalion that gives your characters a counter from ranged attacks, or items to tank those hits, or the option to rush the unit snipping you
I didn't need to care about any of that shit to get to this point, it's just this map that suddenly needs me to use this stuff, it's just bad game design for letting me get this far in the first place.
you assuredly have a battalion that will give you what you need, just go look through and equip one
it isn't at all as bad as you're making it out to be, i got filtered hard by it the first time i did it on maddening and thought the same thing but you just need to utilize your resources

simple, you kill edelgard, dimitri and byleth are so stupidly overpowered they can stomp the entire map by themselves
i only liked fire emblem until 12, awakening was hot garbage a literal polished turd and its been on a dowward spiral from then

Are you on Maddening? If so just abuse warp + Dance of the goddess. If your playing on hard I literally cannot understand how you could be struggling with this map. Just give failnaught to whatever archer you use and have them go to town on all the siege tome users.
