Revelation is terrible not just because of the plot, but also because the royal families are the only viable units in the route. Unless you're a masochist where you use the bonus maps to grind up supports, levels, weapon ranks, children, etc., the royal family sits front and center.
And flying units invalidate everything about the map design.
If I remember correctly, the stupid thing was that units in Revelation showed up as the level they were in the other routes, even if they arrived later into Revelation, and far, far underlevelled. It just further pushed the use of the royals.
>Name one instance of when Claude actually "schemed".
Called in Nader during his route to decoy.
Made a gambit so that everyone wins no matter want in CF, regardless of if he lives or dies.

He's asking to be killed by his own people.
Enemies killed is usually the hardest task with how easily you can order allies to rush the objective and ignore all the non-objective commanders.
The only time the time limit is an issue is when a beast suddenly appears and you don't have enough weaknesses or Hapi.
Yes, Sylvain is accidentally incurring the Wrath of Seiros by giving grandmas guns.

Odin is a good example. He joins as level 5 in Chapter 8 for Conquest, but joins as level 12 in Chapter 17 for Revelation. In Chapter 8, most of your units are going to be about level 8 themselves, so being level 5 isn't too much of a handicap. However, in Chapter 17, most of your units are going to be about level 18, so being 6 levels under is a gigantic handicap.
I do enjoy Vallyria Chronicles, but I should have specified and said pike and shot era. There is also Banner of the maid, which is set in the Napoleonic Wars.
The moment easily-accessible firearms are introduced into a setting is the moment magic dies. Despite how easy game mechanics make magic appear to be, that's supposed to take decades to master. A level 19 wizard (in DnD terms) isn't supposed to exist unless said wizard is 55+ years old. I understand little girls with flat chests shooting fireballs is more aesthetically pleasing, but please understand that artillery and firearms would totally invalidate every form of weapon that FE relies on.
I can see magic still being useful so long as guns as the setting is still early gunpowder. The arty would still wreck everything doe.

So Pillars of Eternity. All men weren't created equal, guns corrected the gods mistake. A mage casts a spell and can kill your unit, but in the time he takes him to cast it, someone with a gun can just shoot him in the head, making mages no longer the be all end all of warfare and causing the ancient empire of elves to fall apart now that their natural magic attunement didn't mean shit

Because Dimitri was always boring and the only thing that kept him from being the most boring 3H Lord was that Claude used to be as exciting as cardboard
>I find it hard to believe people hate Dimitri

He's held back by >A. Being a reactive protagonist instead of proactive like the other 2 Lords >B. Can't show off his viciousness in gameplay because every other character, even the sweet ones like Annette and Mercedes, are capable of killing scores of people. So the writers overcompensated with tryhard dialogue
He's mediocre at best. Don't try and deflect to idpol nonsense. If there are people who only hate Dimitri for being a straight white male there are people who only like him for being a straight white male, which is probably you.

i feel camp system is implemented much better in 3 copes than monastrey in 3 houses
It is, separating training from relaxation activities, combining cooking and sharing a meal into one service, giving us level resets so lower difficulties can make "perfect" units and Maddening runs require less planning, improving teleportation, THE RECORD KEEPER, and making the base open and circular so movement is easier are all objective improvements.
Yeah, pretty much in every way.
I also like the camp having a "generic" sort of look, since I can easily buy that camp moving around the continent without much issue, while in 3H they had to make excuses as to why the armies would go back to Garreg Mach after every mission.
It's far less of a tedious bore and much less silly than everyone marching back home and chilling in Garreg Mach for most of the month and only marching on the final day for a big military operation
Well there's more to it than that. Kings and monarchs ruled over their Lords but it's not like they could be everywhere at the same time. So if a Lord fricked up, like conspiring to commit regicide, a public execution was required to make an example of them. The King needed to establish that it was not worth the investment to try and upend the pillar of their nation. It's why Felix tells Shez during Rufus's execution that Dimitri was "doing his duty." It's also why Count Rowe tells Gwendal that he needs to feign innocence when his attempted coup failed. Because he knows he will not survive Dimitri's Lance if he shows up in Arianrhod with his army. And he bluntly says that.
tl;dr executions are not just "entertainment." It's letting everyone, noble and commoner alike, know that this is what happens when you do this
The translation is questionable in that it sounds stupid, but the intent of the original is the same. "Why are you killing us?" "Why are you fighting back?"
Why do brainlets have such a hard time understanding this dialogue? Dimitri is asking "why do you do what you do?" and she's just throwing back "why do YOU do what YOU do?", because the answer is the same. Dimitri is moronic for not understanding by this point why Edelgard is on the warpath. The answer to why she conquers is the same answer to why he opposes her: their irreconcilable ideals.
His land is only being invaded because he wants to protect the church's caste system, which oppresses Edelgard's people. Edelgard is only the bad guy for making for the first move.
Frick off with this shit. Even if Edelgard captures Rhea in Garreg Mach she'll invade the kingdom anyway. Even if the Alliance doesn't make a move against the Empire, she needs their bridge and will invade them anyway. Even if the Church doesn't actually make it into the Kingdom yet, she'll send a letter telling the King of Faerghus to kneel to imperial rule and the Southern Church.

Her only objective is to remove all of the existing ruling systems in Fodlan and she wants the Kingdom gone because it's synonymous with the Church. Anything else isn't canon.

Anon, if you're going by canon, SS is literally the first route the devs made and so it is what they originally intended according to the interviews. They didn't originally plan on joining Edelgard as a option, they wanted to betray the gamer's expectations by making it seem Rhea, Seteth, etc were sketchy when Edelgard is the one with a warped sense of reality. Dimitri and Claude were just afterthoughts, too.
Play SS and you can tell that's the most "canon" route of Houses because Byleth rejects all three leaders and factions. Then all three lords die in that route, and the Alliance, Empire and Kingdom no longer exists when and decides to rule Fodlan by himself via the Church.

>His land is only being invaded because he wants to protect the church's caste system
She literally marches her army to the gates of Claude's capital and puts it under siege when he's been neutral the entire time.
>Dimitri asks what goal could possibly be worth bloodshed >Edelgard counters by pointing out that he's achieving his goals through bloodshed
What's the problem here
Because it's that proactive versus reactions thing. Dimitri is only killing people in response to Edelgard's killing people. In a vacuum Dimitri would not be butchering people by the hundreds. Even during the battle that earned him the title "Boar" was in response to a rebellion that came up from the instability brought forth by a suddenly dead king. Which, surprise, was instigated by Edelgard's business partners and Rufus. Dimitri is violent by nature but that doesn't mean he goes looking for it, the fact that Edelgard's war forced him to be violent is something he gets to be infuriated by. Because it's Edelgard's personal bullshit that started this war. Oh Edelgard hates the church? Then sever the church from her own lands. Edelgard wants to go to war with the church? Then don't send a letter to the kingdom telling them to submit or die. ESPECIALLY don't frame the King for murder if you happen to capture the Archbishop before she can escape there.
Your false equivalency of "you and me aren't so different" is bullshit and has been called out for being bullshit for literally years. Stop arguing that everyone is reacting wrong to attempted murder.
None of what you typed has anything to do with what I just said
No one is saying that Dimitri is unreasonable for fighting back against Edelgard. The point is that they were both justified in taking drastic measures for retaliating against and changing the world around them.
Of course you can say that Edelgard's target is misguided and point out how the Slithers were a more important target than the Church but that's just indicative of how messy 3H's writing is
Edelgard's action became unjustifiable when she started invading a foreign nation (doing so while claiming "people should be free of their own decisions" is the cherry on top)
Maybe I missed it while going through AG, but did they ever explain what happened to Hubert and Ferdinand?
When you fight them during Part 1 they flee during battle instead of dying, and you never see them at all during Part 2.
I assume they were killed by the Slithers since I can't imagine Hubert doing jackshit while Edelgard drools on the floor.
>did they ever explain what happened to Hubert and Ferdinand?
No. It's suggested that Hubert was killed (off-screen), but it's never said how, when, or why.
Two schizophrenics just responded to you, the implication is that they've been assassinated by the Slithers because they disappear after the Slithers seize control.
>but did they ever explain what happened to Hubert and Ferdinand?
they did. they got shanked by the molepeople and dumped into a mass grave
The unwritten conclusion that Ferdinand and Hubert got slither'd is such wasted potential. If they got slither'd, they should have been bodysnatched or reappeared as puppets like Edelgard, to eat least make the moronic molemen seem a little more menacing. The writing never acknowledges how scary it should be that the molemen can replace anyone they get their hands on.
>The writing never acknowledges how scary it should be that the molemen can replace anyone they get their hands on
It actually does for a change which was refreshing, and explains why Edelgard values Shez so much in their A rank, because they can sniff out disguises with perfect accuracy, and also make them so dangerous if they get moled/taken over by Arval like Hubert fears
It is a shame they didn't have the guts to mole Hubert and Ferdinand though, especially since they even gave the plot a six month timeskip to allow it, like how Monica's needed several months
I saw this dialogue, but it's not enough for just Edelgard and Hubert to acknowledge it.
I hate the Slithers as villains so much. They have so many incredible powers that they forget to use or that most of their enemies remain completely unaware of or unconcerned about while they're fricking dumbass molepeople sideways.
The moles only exist because White Clouds needed a neutral antagonist
And while the intent behind them was also clearly to make Edelgard more sympathetic, it only makes her attacking the Church look crazier when there's a bunch of child-abducting psychos armed with fricking nukes in the setting
>The writing never acknowledges how scary it should be that the molemen can replace anyone they get their hands on.
The molemen are the worst part of the setting and there is no way to make them work without basically turning them into a whole different faction.
They manage to be laughably weak jobbers while having access to >the truth about their world >political ties >a hidden capital >enough mooks for a proper army >superior weaponry >forbidden curses >bioengineering >robots >bodysnatching >mind control >FRICKING NUKES
Two schizophrenics just responded to you, the implication is that they've been assassinated by the Slithers because they disappear after the Slithers seize control.
There's also Randolph saying Marquis Vestra is "lost to us", which usually means dead.
When AG Dorothea mentions that Ferdinand and Hubert have been missing, she trails off in a way that suggests she thinks they're dead (which is reasonable, because if they're not serving Edelgard, being dead is the most likely alternative).
So, what did Claude expect after killing Rhea? That the Empire is too weak along with the Kingdom? Edelgard will invade the alliance eventually, and Dimitri will always put his people first. He gains more with forming an alliance with Dimitri instead of Edelgard. I can guarantee you that if Claude tells Dimitri that he'll leave the Kingdom alone as long as he helps him defeat the Empire and take over the Empire Dimitri would gladly do it so long as the cutizens are safe.
Claude wanted to kill Rhea regardless of the Empire. He literally tells Dimitri that he is going to attack the Church, and the Kingdom if necessary, in their support that happens even in AG.
Claude is fricking moron in Hopes. Even if you believe he's supposed to be a morally grey scheming rat, his schemes don't work half the time and even in his goddamn route people call him on how stupid he is.
Edelgard literally tells Claude she doesn't want to kill Rhea, and just wants to remove the church so she can rule, pretty telling Claude that: No, she isn't going to stop conquering the Alliance and Kingdom.
Edelgard see those two states as illegitimate and wants them to be part of the Empire again. Claude doesn't see how important this detail is and still kills Rhea, thinking somehow the Empire is just going to stop when they admit their reason for going to war is just a front.
That's how stupid he is. He's literally told the truth yet fathom why both Kingdom and Empire are still going at it in his own ending.
The Kingdom and Federation are weak. Claude, being a schemer, partnered with the stronger faction then depowers them through subterfuge. In the event he fails, the Leicester nobles could ally themselves with Empire genuinely and stay protected
When the Empire declare that Alliance must become a vassal state or face war Claude will be hanged in the streets and Erwin Fritz Gloucester will be elected as the new King.
As an animegay I can say that there are different styles of anime. Even generic isekai isn't, visually, completely one-not. Yeah, they all have the same shit plot and characters, but you can't tell me Mushoku looks the same as Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru.
Fire Emblem died long ago, Awakening and Fates are just awful, although Awakening has its good moments. Echoes gets a pass because it's a remake of FE2 that the only flaw is that it's way too loyal to it so it keeps the shit maps. Fodland is the definition of wasted potential. So much lore to be explored, characters are great but the writing is awful because they JUST HAD to do multiple routes instead of a singular one. 3 Houses should have been a single route and Threw Hopes should have been the alternate routes.
Reminder that Brigid and Faerghus are innately conflicting nations and cultures, and Fodlan will get backstabbed by yet another Dagda/Brigid contingent if she's allowed to live in AM
Ladislava is cute. It's too bad she didn't get to join the Strike Force instead of shitty Monica. Also, it's sad that she has "Adresitan NPC" vomit-colored hair.

The Agarthans are the worst antagonists in Fire Emblem history.
Ferdinand blossoms under pressure, there's a reason the first thing Edelgard does just after he kills his dad, is assign him some work, and he thanks her for it
Assigning work to someone who has reason to grieve isn't a matter of "blossoming under pressure", it's a way of giving them a needed distraction, and in this case it's also Edelgard affirming her faith in Ferdinand.
How would he get a kid with a Fraldarius Crest? Felix doesn't have a sister, and he's gay for Dimitri so he's not getting a daughter of his own for Dimitri to breed (which he wouldn't do, even if it would be the next best thing to fricking Felix, which he craves for)

Because in a game mode where you are surrounded by all sides the fact that all of the Mages move so fricking slow makes them feel terrible. I'm actually going to experiment with giving Felix or Shamir the Merc Whistle. Maybe turning Annette into Sanic or letting Mercedes freeze whole groups of enemies will make them feel better
I like Mercedes and Constance since they can summon quick nukes by pressing ZR.
But in general their standard moveset isn't that fun. I like putting them as Holy/Dark Knights and giving them spells as combat arts to be much better.
You can't understand how crushed I was at how terrible Point Blank Volley ended up being. Imagine crushing your weapon durability for a skill that's barely more effective than your standard light attacks
They're too squishy, also you can hardly even get through their combo's without being knocked out of it or having to cancel it with a dodge, most of the other classes can usually tank through it and take little damage and not get knocked back, not mages though, they have to be squishy as frick even when they have the advantage.
I already said you could easily dodge their attacks, it's just you can hardly even use their combo's, like I l like the gremory's c7 move but 9 times out of 10 I can never even fricking get to it. This isn't a problem in other classes
How long would it take me to do every route between 3 houses and 3 hopes? I was planning on playing through claude's route in hopes, then doing the same in houses, then dimitri in hopes, again in houses, then ending with edelgard.
Depends how much you do completion-wise. I played the three non-Church routes in Three Houses to completion including recruiting all units and doing all paralogues, and it took me over 200 hours. It's a long fricking game.
Hopes NG+ can be speedran extremely quickly; you can buy whistles for renown that let you skip side battles, and the fewer side battles you do in a chapter the more renown you get at the end of it, so you can tear through the game only doing the final battle of each chapter if you want.
>100 hours into the game >only partially through second route >feeling burnout because Claude, as a unit, is so bad to pilot >don't want to use vanguard whistles because I want to collect all of the crests and gems
Help me. I'm a sick person who needs assistance.
>think brigand sucks >go train warrior for combat arts completion >discover the leapfrog attack
What are some classes/movesets that redeemed themselves to you?
Archer for Ignatz once I got Sniper and was able to use C6 for my paint spreading instead of just Combat Arts.
Mage/Warlock once I got up to Warlock due to it's C6 + base attack speed increase, and Monk/Priest/Bishop because higher weapon ranks increase base attack speed and now everything about that moveset is actually coming together and creating actual flows and combos.
Paladin just feels like an auto win in most situations. It's super fast. It can bulldoze through regular enemies. And any enemy that's effective against you doesn't even feel like it because they can't touch you
Cavalier classes by and far are the best units in the game. They're the wyvern lord of Hopes. However, you can also change units to be like their Houses counterparts (Hopes Caspar wants to be a wyvern lord, but Houses Caspar wants to be a war master, for example), or reclass them to use a particular weapon (making Annette as wyvern lord to use Crusher), or to take advantage of their strategic ability (making someone like Claude, who prefers to hold strongholds, into a magical class to provide healing when necessary).
Some like Rodrigue really benefit from going through Mage line to get Aura, Thoron, Faith/Reason mastery and +10/5 MAG while you also try to get the Holy Knight/Dark Knight. I try to get as many classes mastered as possible. Get the knowledge gem when asked to choose between experience and knowledge.
>give my beautiful wife Flayn my Merc Whistle (Alliance Slang for wiener) >She gives me a bag of sand
What the frick is her problem
Sand is basically crushed rock, so she did it to crush your hopes of ever rocking her. Agarthan Shez wiener doesn't belong near Nabateans.
Every character gets a unique skill if you master a specific class they're not "meant" to be in (usually based on their hidden proficiency from Houses), and it's the only way to get them. Copy pasted from gamefaqs;
Yeah, that's exactly the point. You're putting them into the class that signifies their budding talent in Houses (which was Reason for both characters) and receiving a reward for it.
>But I will give you Sylvain. Kinda.
Sylvain is always portrayed as a Spear wielding Great Knight as an enemy. They made his pref class Holy Knight because Great Knight is Axe only.
So, in yhe intro we've seen a Tailtean plains, right? And there were a lot of dragons figting against the molemen.
Why were we told only a few of Nabatean remains?
>has an orbital cannon as a class spell >critical rush wipes out everything it touches >amazing spell list that deletes cavalry and swordie boies >"why is gremory so fricking trash?"
Have YOU considered that YOU'RE fricking trash?? b***h??
>worthless >all spells can be used by downgrading back to mage or swapping to superior trickster >all critical rushes clear shit
Yeah gremory is fricking garbage.
>no female brawling class >but also no magic axe class
Unless they make war cleric able to use axes and gauntlets, someone is going to get screwed, and I hope it's not Annette
You can technically get a female brawling class.
If you get A rank Axes and Bows on a female character, they'll also get A rank gauntlets, giving them full combo access while in the Fighter class.
Then for combat arts you have to rely on inheritance from other characters.
It's a stupid system but it can be done.
Yeah, but not really, she's a bonus NG+ character except you can't even use her on regular NG+, only on mission replays, also she doesn't have access to camp functions like training (so levelling up her classes would be slow as frick) or teatimes and no supports and so on.
Yeah I don't know what they were thinking, like they already have an "others" tab for the non canon playable characters for each route, just let us use those in the training function
They do. Get the redipil in ng+ for sword and arrows of indra for spear if you want your hybrid to not be shit as these two items wont nerf anything unlike inverted
>Want to get the Arval paralogue >If I kill Byleth in AG I lose an exclusive paralogue >If I kill Byleth in GW I lose an exclusive paralogue >If I kill Byleth in SB I miss Jeralt's supports with Manuela
god damn it do they really want you to play every route twice
>Play a bunch of Three Houses, clear every route >Think I finally understand the game enough to try Maddening >Get my shit pushed in before I even get to Miklan
Frick bros, why does every Fire Emblem game have the whole "Normal too easy, Hard too hard" problem
Anyone here feel the same or am I a shitter
I think my biggest problem is the 50% exp reduction thing, I have no idea how to manage it
Do I have to resign myself to only having a handful of good units or just accept that everyone's gonna be really underleveled?
Maddening necessitates a lot of degeneracy. And I say that as someone who has completed maddening a lot of times. For example the second I get access to beginner classes I immediately start training everyone in armor and axes so they can qualify for armor knight as soon as possible. I have no intention I'm actually using armor knight. However armor knight has a base defense 12. Every class has a base set of stats required to be in that class. If your students natural stats don't measure up then the game will just give them to you. Which means I can bring up Lysithea's base defense from 3 to 12 within a single promotion. That's 4 points higher than fricking Dedue's base stats. This sort of thing is really important because it's basically a requirement to allow your students to compete with the enemies absurdly bloated strength. Forcing a student to fight on enemy phase more than twice is basically a death sentence but doing this kind of thing makes it manageable. And that's not even getting to the level of grinding required to break into certain skills and classes within a reasonable amount of time. Nobody wants to be hanging out and intermediate classes in chapter 8.
I fricking wish I realized that armor knights base defense cheese back when I first did my CF NG Maddening run, having to herd those squishy chuckle fricks was torture, especially since the Wolves and Jeritza weren't out yet.
Fricking Caspar was the definition of dead weight, only salvaged by making him go full armor line, just so I'd have someone else in the team who could take a blow
The DLC gives you an item that boost strength by three points and I give it to Casper whenever I play Black eagles with zero shame. Otherwise he's just a meat shield that sucks at being a meat shield and he also can't kill anything.

As someone without DLC I gave Caspar killer gauntlets and a killer axe to have him crit fishing all the time with Bombard and Smash

I made him a Vantage Wrath sweeper. Because of his shitty Charm I had to keep him away from Gambits but it was pretty funny.
>Shez straight up explains that they have no idea why people want their opinion on shit and that they essentially just regurgitate phrases and lines they've read in books >Lysithea asks for Shez's true feelings >Shez just repeats a line from a book >Lysithea falls for it immediately hook, line, and sinker
Shouldn't Shez be ashamed that they're flirting with/courting a child?
She falls for it and says that's probably just a line if you pick to say your true feelings, but Petra feels the best for Shez, just go with her to Brigid when the wars over, Shez isn't afraid to fight like a Brigid so they'll do fine there
literally the worst part of the gams that could have been the best, simply due to the alt universe NTR. Yes it is NTR, idgaf what you trannies say. Also Shez wasn't even that plot important to be a MC, they could have just had Shez be the new boss character if they really wanted to show off Arval and lizard people. Byleth is such a blank slate that he could have just been a student instead of a teacher. And basically had most of the same supports with some minor changes. FRICK
How? Dimitri comes with a new Battalion that is at full health. Dimitri himself ends up dead before he can get his battalions down to one third health. It's the main reason why I have to change his setup during chapter 12 to make sure I don't get fricked in chapter 13
Is Sitri a dragon? She was like a homonculus of Rhea right? So she's not even human huh
She's to Rhea what Rhea was to Sothis
Sothis -> Rhea -> Sitri -> Byleth
So, the massive breasts gene skips a generation?
Hey you, don't be a Protestant or an atheist.
Eat shit, Count Varley is the only archbishop Fodlan needs
a pathetic coward and a puppet? no thanks, bro

I want to eat her hair.
I can't tell if Annette is good or not
she's somehow one of my most strongest units but she's also the one that has died the most.
glass canon
Characters with bad def growths will die in a single combo string from an enemy. Just learn to dodge.
reminds me that i brought her into a stage where i wasn't allowed to dodge.
that might not have been a good idea but i got it on the second try.
Canon
>Local church boy breaks atheist dykes, makes mothers and wives out them, kickstarts the next generation of Nabateans
Rukotaro has a mental illness. And so does Raul.
Who and who?
The boar
Nice picture, source?
Why does Dorothea like grooming manlets?
So will DLC add a golden route?
The truce before the war is the closest Fodlan will ever get to a golden route.
It's pretty clear they will never do a golden route after Revelation again.
Should I play revelation? I tried conquest and thought it was moronic.
Then the 3H saga (both games) all end on on wet farts.
Especially all of Three Hope’s endings.
There already is a golden route, it's called Azure Gleam (Blue Lions). The good guys all live and the bad guys all die (except for Edelgard I guess).
Claude is about to start war with the Kingdom, though. He literally said as much in his support with Dimitri.
So? The good guys will just kill those new bad guys then. Golden route.
>a schemer announces his scheme
>schemer
Name one instance of when Claude actually "schemed".
Hard mode: name one in Three Houses
i literally can't
Easy mode: baiting ferdinand into deep alliance territory only to trap him in.
The many times he said he'd poison someone's food but then didn't go through with it because no deviation allowed in White Clouds
Almyran raiders
>Name one instance of when Claude actually "schemed".
Called in Nader during his route to decoy.
Made a gambit so that everyone wins no matter want in CF, regardless of if he lives or dies.
Literally only saves Rhea to pry information out of her in 3H.
The whole plan for the army to cross the myrdinn bridge in 3 routes is his idea.
This. People be sleeping on Claude's schemes
>No Shez
>Half the Golden Deer on even better terms with Dimitri
>No Empire to bail him out
>Against Full strength Knights of Seiros
>War footing Kingdom
He's asking to be killed by his own people.
They will all kneel to the full might of Almyra
>the bad guys all die
Claude is still alive tho
Claude's only evil when he's bored
Dimitri agreed to take him rat-hunting so it's all good
Did Dimitri also mention that claude would be the rat being hunted?
>except for Edelgard I guess
It's ok because she's mindbroken.
what was implied with her calling him dee? that she wants to end it peacefully or that shes effectively lobotomized?
She literally thinks she is like 11 years old.
She used to call him Dee when she was 12.
maybe it's not that she's a drooling moron now but that her memories came back?
AG has to be the route with the lowest amount of playable character deaths even factoring in off-screen deaths/disappearances like ferdie and hubert
>bad guys all die
But you support Rhea?
She’s not a child.
lmao
Why isnt capturing Byleth her first priority at this moment?
Because the writers were getting lobotomized while writing Golden Wildfire
Maybe because an army of alliance Black folk were trying to murder her?
>SUGEI SEIROS, YOU LOOK REALLY STRONG! LET ME FIGHT YOU!
How did you get this dialogue?
Kick her ass with Byleth in GW
This is the SB equivalent
Ah I see, I got the SB one so I was surprised. Thanks anon.

Enemies killed is usually the hardest task with how easily you can order allies to rush the objective and ignore all the non-objective commanders.
The only time the time limit is an issue is when a beast suddenly appears and you don't have enough weaknesses or Hapi.
Why can't we set the music for generic/record keeper battles like houses let us?
Shamir x Catherine x Shez is cute and canon
WHERE DOES SHE KEEP THEM
Her absolutely hairy vegana.
Thanks for reminding me of El Dorado
Wait, did Sylvain just invent guns?
Yes, Sylvain is accidentally incurring the Wrath of Seiros by giving grandmas guns.
Odin is a good example. He joins as level 5 in Chapter 8 for Conquest, but joins as level 12 in Chapter 17 for Revelation. In Chapter 8, most of your units are going to be about level 8 themselves, so being level 5 isn't too much of a handicap. However, in Chapter 17, most of your units are going to be about level 18, so being 6 levels under is a gigantic handicap.
Yeah I'm surprised nobody really brings it up, but I guess it doesn't really have any impact.
I am once again asking for a gunpowder-era Fire Emblem.
Your Valkyria Chronicles?
I do enjoy Vallyria Chronicles, but I should have specified and said pike and shot era. There is also Banner of the maid, which is set in the Napoleonic Wars.
I can see magic still being useful so long as guns as the setting is still early gunpowder. The arty would still wreck everything doe.
Just play Advance Wars bro. You could have had a space age Fire Emblem if the Awakening team decided to go full crackhead mode.

>SB Claude meets Byleth
>they convince him to go full moron and gets him and themself killed
>can't use secret units in training
>can only use them when replaying stages in the record keeper
I am mad
There's 100% going to be an update later on to allow them to be usable everywhere, because as of right now they're literally pointless.
They're renown rewards, so they've missed their chance, unfortunately.
This doesn't mean they can't still fix it so that they're playable outside of training and replay maps.
They are simply not meant to be story usable characters; just fanservice playables for the one mode where you can use anyone and everyone you want.
They'll either add this in an update, or they do it on purpose to force you to buy DLCs to actually play the characters meaningfully, like in a new Agarthan or Church route or something.
How did they manage to ruin Dimitri so much?
They made the most interesting of the 3 lords and made him just as boring as the other two.
Not really. They defanged Edelgard and Claude is only interesting because Golden Wildfire is like watch a train crash.
Because Dimitri was always boring and the only thing that kept him from being the most boring 3H Lord was that Claude used to be as exciting as cardboard
>dimitri was always boring
Wrong
Boarmitri is so fricking cool. My favorite lord.....tied with Leif
Think he popped a stiffy there?
homie iffy uh
dee got the stiffy uh
He's so hot.
Calm down Felix
I find it hard to believe people hate Dimitri, it has to be GD or BE only that hate him, one playthrough of BL and he's a favorite
>I find it hard to believe people hate Dimitri
i don't. there are danger hairs psychopaths who dslike him for the mere reason that he's a straight white male who doesn't want to set the world on fire for the sake of "muh greater good"
He's held back by
>A. Being a reactive protagonist instead of proactive like the other 2 Lords
>B. Can't show off his viciousness in gameplay because every other character, even the sweet ones like Annette and Mercedes, are capable of killing scores of people. So the writers overcompensated with tryhard dialogue
He's mediocre at best. Don't try and deflect to idpol nonsense. If there are people who only hate Dimitri for being a straight white male there are people who only like him for being a straight white male, which is probably you.
>claude
>proactive
lul.
And being proactive doesn't make you interesting or good.
>And being proactive doesn't make you interesting or good.
It literally does, that's Storytelling 101
try reading some classics as opposed to ebin marvel comics for once
>Accusing the other guy of only reading marvel shlock when we're talking about shonen anime writing
I'm sorry I hurt your feelings Dimitribro
>we're talking about shonen anime writing
we're not. we're talking about whether being a proactive character makes you interesting or good
In a story like Fire Emblem? Yeah. It's the difference between the absolute borefest that was Ichigo and bare minimum protagonists like Luffy.
you're moving goalposts. keep at it
I'm a different anon.
You're the one who deflected to different stories out of nowhere dude
>monomyth first step: call to Adventure
>The hero begins in a situation of normality from which some information is received that acts as a call to head off into the unknown.
Except Dimitri is a schizo tard who needs everyone else to drag him into his adventure
>the hero having to relly on his ally instead of being a Mary/Gary Sue is a bad thing
Claude is no more proactive than Dimitri is in his 3 Houses campaign, and for a good chunk of his 3 Hopes campaign.
>If there are people who only hate Dimitri for being a straight white male there are people who only like him for being a straight white male, which is probably you.
Words of truth have been spoken.
link the article that says azure moon is the bad ending
It’s some redditor named Nick. /feg/ exposed him a while ago on his r/Edelgard account where he purged everything. He spams the same shit every thread.
>Dimitri is boring
>Gary Stu
>stupid and agrees that Rhea must die
>Mercedes’ is less of a pussy than he is
>azure gleam is a bad route because Edelgard got BTFO
Also recently decided to falseflag and post Claude or Felix ntring Dimitri.
I thought nick was like a term made up for edeltards, I didn't know it was an actual person lol.
Must be. He's clearly the best. A lot of people seem to fall for Edelgard's nonsense.
>white
>male
>defend the Church
put in some effort anon, you'll figure it out
Oh man that tier list
We will never get any good discussions because you gays keep falling back on nick went it’s easy as frick to point out his spam.
we get tons of good discussions when people are willing to argue in good faith. nick is not one of those people
Good conversations have gotten derailed by Nick accusations, its all pretty dumb
Not when Dimitrigays take obvious Nicks’s bait and derail the threads.
Nick please stop falseflagging.
Shitskin ESL loves the shitskin route. Shocking.
Not everyone is nick you stupid troony, the only reason why he’s even here is because he knows you’ll take his obvious bait
hey it GW wasnt perfect, but claude getting BTFO by everyone in the deer was funny.
>meanwhile in AG
muh knighthood. the only saving grace of AG was felix.
Yeah yeah Pajeet you have shit(lol) taste.
Are the people who love this edgelord shit old enough to post here?
I love edgelord shit, I don't care what people think. CHAOS was a blast too.
>e-e-edgy!!!!
Go back, troony.
>CHAOS
You mean SoP? Man I can't wait for the crazy bullshit the DLC will bring.
yeah, i'm 28 and married.
yeah sorry anon but azure moon/gleam is boring because of the knight stuffs. even though claude was acting dumb in GW at least it was fun
They took away his Fates-tier quirk and now he's "boring"? That's odd.
They didn't ruin Dimitri, he just never got to cut loose and show everyone his moron strength because they're saving that for the DLC.
It is, separating training from relaxation activities, combining cooking and sharing a meal into one service, giving us level resets so lower difficulties can make "perfect" units and Maddening runs require less planning, improving teleportation, THE RECORD KEEPER, and making the base open and circular so movement is easier are all objective improvements.
i feel camp system is implemented much better in 3 copes than monastrey in 3 houses
Yeah, pretty much in every way.
I also like the camp having a "generic" sort of look, since I can easily buy that camp moving around the continent without much issue, while in 3H they had to make excuses as to why the armies would go back to Garreg Mach after every mission.
Also had to explain why all major battles happen once a month when this game is bam bam bam in fights happening
It's far less of a tedious bore and much less silly than everyone marching back home and chilling in Garreg Mach for most of the month and only marching on the final day for a big military operation
Stop responding to nicks copypasta.
Beach and hot springs episode DLC when?
I just wish there was a way to replenish activity and training points when you're at the final chapter
>Edelgard has to be made disabled for Dimitri to look good
Azure Gleam is so bad holy frick
AG doesn't even make Dimitri look good. The plotline is pure shit.
He still mutilates people and leaves their desecrated corpses for everyone to see though
it's the middle ages. bloody executions were like a visit to the circus back then. He's just taking care of his people's entertainment
And he bluntly says that.
tl;dr executions are not just "entertainment." It's letting everyone, noble and commoner alike, know that this is what happens when you do this
She was already disabled and he was looking good long before 3 hopes even started production
god damn she's an idiot
I 100% believe we ended up with GW Claude just so they could take some heat off of her.
I thought it was confirmed a botched translation
The translation is questionable in that it sounds stupid, but the intent of the original is the same. "Why are you killing us?" "Why are you fighting back?"
Why do brainlets have such a hard time understanding this dialogue? Dimitri is asking "why do you do what you do?" and she's just throwing back "why do YOU do what YOU do?", because the answer is the same. Dimitri is moronic for not understanding by this point why Edelgard is on the warpath. The answer to why she conquers is the same answer to why he opposes her: their irreconcilable ideals.
Yeah, his ideals being not wanting to be conquered.
His land is only being invaded because he wants to protect the church's caste system, which oppresses Edelgard's people. Edelgard is only the bad guy for making for the first move.
>which oppresses Edelgard's people
lol?
do not argue with delusional morons
Bro she literally invades the Alliance unprovoked even though they're not sheltering the Church, frick off with this cope.
In SB she is allied to the Alliance and in the Alternative Path end the narration says they rekindle their friendship after the end. That's canon, period. Nothing that's not stated in the game matters.
>Alternative Path
non-canon
It's canon. All routes are canon.
I'm extremely curious what you thought was canon in the 3 years prior to Hopes
Her first action in CF is invading the Alliance, that at the time was at worst neutral to the conflict, at best for her, heavily considering joining the Empire.
Her first action is SB is to invade an Alliance territory.
Let's not even talk about VW or GW
In CF she is working with the Slithers.
trully the good guys
In 3 Houses the Empire is the only reason anyone is able to take down the Slithers. Without Edelgard and Hubert working with them, losers like Rhea or Claude wouldn't have found their base. They're a necessary evil to change Fodlan.
This is a stupid fricking cope
>Hey guys these bank robbers and murderers that have escaped justice for decades were caught because the get away driver accidently made the wrong turn into the police station. Therefore the get away driver is the unsung hero of the story.
No, the Empire was specifically working to take the Slithers down. They were their true target. Hubert specifically gives Byleth/Claude the location of the Dubstep Disco.
Then why start a war in the first place? Tell Rhea about the slithers along with Dimitri because he does have a connection to them amd he'll gladly help kill all of them if needed.
Because conquest first, genocide of slithers second. Also, despite the five years of war, the Empire actually wins AND exterminates the slithers instead of letting them out of the bag like in Hopes.
You're forgetting the literal nukes like the writers of the game do 90% of the time. And how are they going to find their base without earning their trust?
>we want to take down the Slither
>that's why we work with them
>why we keep their existence a scret, even to our closest ally
>why we blame the Church for the actions they've done
>and why we attack their sworn ennemies and the only entity in Fodlan who can actually threaten them
>canon
Bless the subverted expectations, it never ever goes wrong
She still invades the alliance for literally no reason what the frick are you talking about? She wants to rule all of fodland because shes salty that they lost a war to the kingdom
In Crimson Flower she is working with the Slithers. We're talking about what Edelgard would do unconstrained by the Slithers and it's definitely not taking over the Alliance.
She invades Leicester with the intention of taking the Great Bridge of Myrrdin IN CRIMSON FLOWER! The whole fricking point of the stalemate is that she can't get troops through the Oghma Mountains and needs to go around them.
>His land is only being invaded because he wants to protect the church's caste system
She literally marches her army to the gates of Claude's capital and puts it under siege when he's been neutral the entire time.
>Dimitri asks what goal could possibly be worth bloodshed
>Edelgard counters by pointing out that he's achieving his goals through bloodshed
Killed off offscreen because devs got lazy with the story
They manage to be laughably weak jobbers while having access to
>the truth about their world
>political ties
>a hidden capital
>enough mooks for a proper army
>superior weaponry
>forbidden curses
>bioengineering
>robots
>bodysnatching
>mind control
>FRICKING NUKES
>Thales is a thousand years old
>still incompetent
How
Epimenides was the brains and brawn of the entire operation
>enough mooks for a proper army
LOL nope. This is their main reason they manipulate others into fighting for them
Two schizophrenics just responded to you, the implication is that they've been assassinated by the Slithers because they disappear after the Slithers seize control.
>but did they ever explain what happened to Hubert and Ferdinand?
they did. they got shanked by the molepeople and dumped into a mass grave
This one line of dialogue is all you get.
There are a lot of characters on every route who stop appearing without dying. Why do people only seethe at AG for this?
Because they're the Eagles A-listers
It would be like fridging Hilda and Lorenz or Dedue and Felix
>w-what do you mean you've lost the launch codes?!
Dimitri-induced inferiority complex
Sexy brat
YO LIL DIMMIE I JUST ATE MY OWN FACES WHADDYA THINK ABOUT THEM APPLES LIL DIMMIE
He thinks the church a shit and wants Rhea dead
Claude wanted to kill Rhea regardless of the Empire. He literally tells Dimitri that he is going to attack the Church, and the Kingdom if necessary, in their support that happens even in AG.
Ok but then what? It literally serves no point at all if she's dead or not.
He thinks the Church will disappear if Rhea dies and racism will be over.
It's just an excuse to put Rhea bossfight in GW as they didn't want to program more bosses
Epimenides DLC when
You get a paralogue and that's final
hopefully never. what a trash character
Never, since we already got Arval.
Shezbros… Edelgard think’s we’re icky…
>You can tell Claude his plan is dumb because the Empire wants to unify Fodlan regardless of the Church
>"Yeah you're right"
>Nothing
kek wtf
Chances of Claude getting a public execution in the Alliance’s capital?
When the Empire declare that Alliance must become a vassal state or face war Claude will be hanged in the streets and Erwin Fritz Gloucester will be elected as the new King.
Gloucester is a coward who'd bend the knee
he'll go back to almyra and make a united alliance federation
why are you so butt hurt? im just staying the truth
>brown hordes being traitorous scum is DA BEST
Yeah Pajeet we get it. You self insert.
Luke Skywalker wanted to go see the Galaxy even before his call to action. Heroes are more interesting when they have goals and dreams.
The adventure he joins is not exploring the Galaxy, it's joining the Rebelion to fight the Empire
>Let me just clean your face there
Are there anons that are actually angry next FE is going back to the Fates like designs? Why?
I wish it went back to Kozaki, but it looks like Genshin shit.
Except this series has been anime since it's inception?
As an animegay I can say that there are different styles of anime. Even generic isekai isn't, visually, completely one-not. Yeah, they all have the same shit plot and characters, but you can't tell me Mushoku looks the same as Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru.
It's more likely for Claude to betray Edelgard than the other way around tbh.
3 Houses should have been a single route and Threw Hopes should have been the alternate routes.
>the only flaw is that it's way too loyal to it so it keeps the shit maps
Conrad was an abomination
Right, I genuinely forgot about him because he literally serves no purpose, I liked the other OC characters like Berkut and Rinea
Also, it's sad that she has "Adresitan NPC" vomit-colored hair.
when does AG here good? i have been defending all the time
Nice English Pajeet.
THE BLUE LIONS ARE BORING
>being honorable is boring because I’m a dirty third worlder so I relate to the shitskin hordes
>being honorable is boring
Absolutely true.
>because I’m a dirty third worlder so I relate to the shitskin hordes
Even if he is that doesn't make the first part any less true.
Kys nick.
Only if you say please.
Quit being a homosexual and taking the bait
Their campaign is exactly the same as Verdant Wind only without Shambhala and a shittier final boss
There's a reason no one plays Azure Moon
Gilbert alone makes it worth playing.
It's pretty funny when you kill Annette in CF's final level and Gilbert's slug ass tries to chase you through an enormous map filled with flaming tiles
By the time he reaches me he has like 35% of his health left lmao
Blue Lions are loyal, deer and eagles aren't so you can get the most part members in Azure
>Blue lions are loyal
You mean just Dedue, right
Sylvain ditches his homeland more easily than the entire cast
no he means literally everyone, since only ashe and mercedes can be recruted out of blue lions, and ashe is fricking miserable and might unhero because of it
>and might unhero because of it
homie gets over it in time and starts going back to his old self near the end
>abandons his homeland for a sick pair of breasts
>ends up crying and whining the whole time when we have to invade his country, when he could've left at any time
Sylvain is the worst
Azure Moon =/= Azure Gleam. Pay attention.
let's be honest. 3 houses got a lot of shit wrong because they simply didn't give a shit. Like the core BL units being recruitable for example. Or ignatz gleefully watching his homeland burn and painting pictures of it. Or Petra being recruitable
Petra being recruitable is fine. She's the one who handles it best in Hopes.
Ignatz doesn't care about human lives.
>Petra being recruitable is fine
i honestly don't think so. political prisoners shouldn't even be let out of sight of their handler and the second they something they get shanked
Petra isn't a prisoner anymore.
>Ignatz doesn't care about human lives.
Realistic, he's an artist
Where's that image of Ignatz disapproving of you saying human lives matter, when you need it?
What did they put in Faerghus' water?
Estrogen
I fricking love Mina Cream.
That's just Dimitri spilling his spaghettis for the nth time this week
And wanting to wipe it from Felix with his tongue
wait he's talking to Felix? I thought he was saying this to Shez... kek
His crest makes him instinctively want to breed Fraldarius (b)ussy
also, why is leonie and lorenz magic knights better than ingrid and slyvain? is it just me?
Dude, I love girls eating
Still pissed about Annette Caspar Marianne and Seteth not being able to use their relics/sacred weapons in their preferred classes and I know for a fact that they will never make an update for that
>marianne
but i can use blutgang marianne dancer??
That's not her preferred class though
>Being autistic about keeping everyone in their preferred classes
>Not making all the women dancers
Okay gay.
Yes that's literally the point of the post I made.
My mistake then.
Yes you have to s-rank the secret mission with the 3 Lord in chapter 16 to get it
>nukes
>zombie Nemesis
>shapeshifter
>Crest Beasts
>technology is like 200 years ahead of the rest of Fodlan
>lose
The Agarthans are the worst antagonists in Fire Emblem history.
It's the writers, remember they gave Byleth time powers just as an excuse for a Mila's turnwheel when they could have easily done Seiro's turnwheel.
Who did you make the Noblest of Nobles though?
Ferdie. I like Lorenz too, but humiliating him is more fun.
You could have humiliated them both via Constance
I don't want to humiliate Ferdie. He has a hard enough time with his autism and his fat evil dad. I'd like to prop him up a bit.
Ferdinand blossoms under pressure, there's a reason the first thing Edelgard does just after he kills his dad, is assign him some work, and he thanks her for it
Assigning work to someone who has reason to grieve isn't a matter of "blossoming under pressure", it's a way of giving them a needed distraction, and in this case it's also Edelgard affirming her faith in Ferdinand.
lorenz. he's based
>puppet to a schizo
Does the mission's ending actually change based on who gets the most kills?
It genuinely does, yes.
Good to know. I made it Constance but it felt like it could had been a joke ending with the mention that Shez almost lost count
Yes, actually
Ferdinand is based
Ferdinand deserves all the b***hes
Ferdinand will be emperor
i don't play evil routes
If the King of Faerghus had an adult kid with minor Fraldarius and then had another child born with Major Blaiddyd, who inherits
How would he get a kid with a Fraldarius Crest? Felix doesn't have a sister, and he's gay for Dimitri so he's not getting a daughter of his own for Dimitri to breed (which he wouldn't do, even if it would be the next best thing to fricking Felix, which he craves for)
The nobles and royal family are inbred with each other as frick
That's a given, the child with the Blaiddyd
Blaiddyd of course, assuming it's a male.
Male or female, it's going to be Blaiddyd
The one with Blaiddyd, the game even addresses this in Shez's and Ingrid's support actually.
She mentions that a lot of the nobility is inbred as frick so any crest spawning isn't entirely out of the question, but that the succession always goes to the kid that has the crest of the family's relic
>muh honor, muh knighthood
what ever will we do without those things
>Edelgard sets Bernie on fire in Houses
>Makes her a general in Copes
She really wants her dead huh
>Bernadetta: Wish I could have died at home...instead of this big, stupid field....
>Edelgard: lol, lmao even
>you can upgrade your camp
THIS IS WHAT THE MONASTERY IN THE WAR PHASE SHOULD HAVE BEEN AAAAAAAAAAAAA. WHY IS MUSOU SHIT GETTING MORE DEV LOVE THAN THE MAIN TITLE??
Because it's newer and they learned their lesson from the monastery
It's also why base camp is far smaller than the monastery and why training is done on post rather than as separate event
The training is the worse part of replays
Yeah what the hell, did BL seriously need three fricking lance relics
Meant for
yes. cope and seethe you godless heathen
Miklan was a true knight
>No he wasn't
He was, even died like one
Get off of Ganker and get back to work old man!
I cannot Felix, for I feel my knighthood upon me.
>0 heroes relic are in the empire
They make up for it by being Sacred Relic Chads
>3 spear same-ish relic
>1 "magic" mallet relic
>1 shield relic
>1 accessory relic
>1 ugly sword relic

Lets talk gameplay
Why are mages the fricking worst aside from hubert?
i fricking hate archers
They're so fricking awkward to use.
Making spells into combat arts was a mistake as well.
Honestly, you reach a point where you get a high enough durability, and a low enough cost that you can basically spam spells.
The gremory moveset is okay when you can support it with decent combat arts like bolgannone or thoron.
Somehow archers are even worse because all their combat arts are really slow and even the good ones miss the enemy half the time.
You can't understand how crushed I was at how terrible Point Blank Volley ended up being. Imagine crushing your weapon durability for a skill that's barely more effective than your standard light attacks
They're too squishy, also you can hardly even get through their combo's without being knocked out of it or having to cancel it with a dodge, most of the other classes can usually tank through it and take little damage and not get knocked back, not mages though, they have to be squishy as frick even when they have the advantage.
>taking damage at all
Opinion discarded
I already said you could easily dodge their attacks, it's just you can hardly even use their combo's, like I l like the gremory's c7 move but 9 times out of 10 I can never even fricking get to it. This isn't a problem in other classes
Whole point of them is using the 50% cooldown and spam magic. Constance is a monster because you never worry about running out of durability
A simple recipe for a ton of fun
1. Tsundere brat
2. Ridill
3. Lightning Speed ring
4. Mortal Savant
5. PROFIT
english please
it's fine, those relics can't compete with freikugel, big tyrtrus (3 hopes version), blutgang and claude's bow in the l aesthetics division
I'll raise your sword brat and raise you Fetters of Dromi Felix.
Looks awesome, guess I'll give the Merc's whistle to Felix
>GO GOGO GOGOGOGO
h-he's fast!
>Intense Velocity
How long would it take me to do every route between 3 houses and 3 hopes? I was planning on playing through claude's route in hopes, then doing the same in houses, then dimitri in hopes, again in houses, then ending with edelgard.
180 hours
Depends how much you do completion-wise. I played the three non-Church routes in Three Houses to completion including recruiting all units and doing all paralogues, and it took me over 200 hours. It's a long fricking game.
Doing 100% of each playthrough in Houses took me ~80 hours each.
I've only finished my first Hopes playthrough and that one was 60 hours.
200 hours for the 4 three houses routes. SB alone on three hopes took me 50 hours, hopefully NG+ is a lot faster.
You can speedrun 3 houses on the lowest difficulty in about 8 hours.
Hopes NG+ can be speedran extremely quickly; you can buy whistles for renown that let you skip side battles, and the fewer side battles you do in a chapter the more renown you get at the end of it, so you can tear through the game only doing the final battle of each chapter if you want.
GW took me about 50 hours, but I 100% it.
Subsequent playthrought will be faster with NG+
>luna
>dark spikes
anything and everything sucked into the death ball and dies as if you used a team special. just upgrade your durability bro.
>Sir, I found a promising new recruit
>Uh....I'm pretty sure she's just lost
>kidnapping children, AND Bernie
Does Faerghus evil know no limit?
You are best girl, Bernie. So you needed to be paired up with best boy Felix.
Tell me about the secret sword stealing technique! I must know it!
Girl like this would get taken advantage of, if it
wasn't world where everyone on your army is almost pure good.
She's cute and innocent on real world she would have no chance
i lover her so much!
>Monica, you want to do what with me?
ywnbaw
>he isn't into roleplaying with his fella Gankertards
ngmi
Sleep on your lap, Your Majesty
You just know she flicks her bean every night thinking of Edelgard. Hubert would never. He's a pure loyal servant.
i want to get pegged by both.
We know, Hubert
Hubert's butthole is only for Shez
Hubert's butthole always belongs to Lady Edelgard first, but she's willing to share it.
why are the red-haired ones such good characters?
I don't know how I didn't realise how much of a sex goddess Hapi was before Three Hopes.
dlc character.
Her timeskip hair was really ugly in Houses
They put her in a thong in the card game
I hope my wife Anna is playable in the next one!
Lucky Dee Dee
>100 hours into the game
>only partially through second route
>feeling burnout because Claude, as a unit, is so bad to pilot
>don't want to use vanguard whistles because I want to collect all of the crests and gems
Help me. I'm a sick person who needs assistance.
>because Claude, as a unit, is so bad to pilot
why are you even bothering to use him, rather than just speedrunning with Shez?
Because I don't know if they're going to pull an SB Ch.9, which is when Edelgard became a green unit being rushed by multiple enemies.
Just level him with the training instructor then so he isn't uselessly squishy/won't be useless for Arval's chapter, assuming you spare Byleth again
Use gold to lvl him then reclass to advantage on missions where he’s green npc. Strategies bro
Just reclass Claude to something else then.
Going Trickster and spamming C7 is fun regardless of your character.
to using cute and fun characters like hilda or dancer marianne
Golden deer is literally best for Male byleth self inserters
>Marianne
>Lysithea
Ignore dinners and generic NPC in your camp. Don't try to grind supports. Use Shez
Imagine 3h remake with all the improvements from 3c
>Edelgard only wants to take down the Church
>blaiddyd is pronounced blaithid
well, that's dumb
it's gaelic or welsh or whatever
>think brigand sucks
>go train warrior for combat arts completion
>discover the leapfrog attack
What are some classes/movesets that redeemed themselves to you?
Not so much a class but
>use Ashe
>man Archer sucks
>use Ignatz
>“Painting is a source of endless pleasure, but also of great anguish.” – Balthus
Archer for Ignatz once I got Sniper and was able to use C6 for my paint spreading instead of just Combat Arts.
Mage/Warlock once I got up to Warlock due to it's C6 + base attack speed increase, and Monk/Priest/Bishop because higher weapon ranks increase base attack speed and now everything about that moveset is actually coming together and creating actual flows and combos.
>a manprostitute's special ability is his lance becoming red, big and pulsating
cute
>sub 10 fps in combat
how's you day going, gentlemen?
Just overclock your switch bro
Thank god there's no limit to the number of battles you can figh each chapter
Is it worth speccing characters into classes outside their favored class in 3 hopes? Are there any classes that have particularly good movesets?
Sand is basically crushed rock, so she did it to crush your hopes of ever rocking her. Agarthan Shez wiener doesn't belong near Nabateans.
I wish Flayn was real. I have jerk offd to her so much I'm kind of worried
Pedo
>b-b-b-but she's actually thousands of yea-
Pedo
Yeah I'm a pedo so what? What are you gonna do about it? Cry? I love dicky.
The triality of man...
We really need to get our alibi straight, pedobros......
She's actually thousands of years old.
>b-b-b-but she's actually thousands of yea-
No. The real argument is she's a drawing.
Do you realize that almost every character is underage in the first half of Three Houses? You're a professor who is basically grooming their students
>taking them out to tea
>giving them gifts
>private training
Yep
Every character gets a unique skill if you master a specific class they're not "meant" to be in (usually based on their hidden proficiency from Houses), and it's the only way to get them. Copy pasted from gamefaqs;
>Dark Knight (Range Master) - Shez, Hubert, Caspar, Ashe, Flayn
>Holy Knight (Exalted Breath) - Byleth, Dorothea, Raphael, Marianne, Seteth, Catherine
>Gremory/Dark Bishop (Nullify Magic) - Edelgard, Felix, Sylvain, Ignatz, Balthus, Holst, Rhea
>Great Knight (Ironclad) - Ferdinand, Hilda
>Great Knight (Inspiring Agility) - Bernie, Dimitri, Rodrigue
>Falcon Knight (Flyswatter) - Petra, Leonie, Constance
>Trickster (Gather) - Lindhardt, Manuela, Shamir, Monica
>War Master (Prepared to Die) - Dedue, Jeralt
>Bow Knight (Sharpshooter) - Mercedes, Ingrid, Yuri
>Wyvern Lord (Heaviest Hitter) - Annette, Claude, Hapi
>Wyvern Lord (Domineer) - Jeritza, Arval
>Mortal Savant (Proficient Witstrike) - Lorenz, Lysithea, Sothis
>Jeritza, Anal
I wish I hadn't read it like this
>Dark Bishop (Nullify Magic) - Felix, Sylvain,
pretty sure they were meant to be a mortal svant and a dark knight respectedly. how fricking dumb
Yeah, that's exactly the point. You're putting them into the class that signifies their budding talent in Houses (which was Reason for both characters) and receiving a reward for it.
Mortal Savant is actuallly on Felix's preferred class line though.
But I will give you Sylvain. Kinda.
>But I will give you Sylvain. Kinda.
Sylvain is always portrayed as a Spear wielding Great Knight as an enemy. They made his pref class Holy Knight because Great Knight is Axe only.
>jeralt
>prepare to die
>give my beautiful wife Flayn my Merc Whistle (Alliance Slang for wiener)
>She gives me a bag of sand
What the frick is her problem
Why does Shez always have to have to shit colored outfits for other classes? Frick
cheese would be an alirght character if not for his terrible colour scheme
Playable Kronya never
Playable ERWIN never
Playable Ladislava never
Margrave Edmund never
Agarthan route never
Nemesis support never
There will probably be a season pass announcement down the road like with Hyrule Warriors AoC.
I know it's foolish to hope, but I'm genuinely hoping we'll get Kronya dlc.
>every other mission is an escort mission
Either I have a bugged game, or I have been lied to, but I can reforge my relic weapons to +100 just like common ones.
Yes you can. I have like 3 at +100
So, in yhe intro we've seen a Tailtean plains, right? And there were a lot of dragons figting against the molemen.
Why were we told only a few of Nabatean remains?
That was Indech and Macuil
It's five at the very least.
It was a few of them, only two
Cutesythea
Why is gremory so fricking trash?
Class is slow as frick in attacks. Feel like warlock is better
Because not only is it slow but the attack angles are also awkward.
>has an orbital cannon as a class spell
>critical rush wipes out everything it touches
>amazing spell list that deletes cavalry and swordie boies
>"why is gremory so fricking trash?"
Have YOU considered that YOU'RE fricking trash?? b***h??
>worthless
>all spells can be used by downgrading back to mage or swapping to superior trickster
>all critical rushes clear shit
Yeah gremory is fricking garbage.
>no female brawling class
>but also no magic axe class
Unless they make war cleric able to use axes and gauntlets, someone is going to get screwed, and I hope it's not Annette
just run wyvern lord like in houses
You can technically get a female brawling class.
If you get A rank Axes and Bows on a female character, they'll also get A rank gauntlets, giving them full combo access while in the Fighter class.
Then for combat arts you have to rely on inheritance from other characters.
It's a stupid system but it can be done.
I don't think you get the extra gauges for class actions or the better(?) class passives if you do this
Do you finally get to play as Rhea in this game?
This is important.
Yes but not in the main story
She's a bonus character in NG+.
Yeah, but not really, she's a bonus NG+ character except you can't even use her on regular NG+, only on mission replays, also she doesn't have access to camp functions like training (so levelling up her classes would be slow as frick) or teatimes and no supports and so on.
>wanted to make dancer arval
>gave up halfway through because class leveling was a chore
Yeah I don't know what they were thinking, like they already have an "others" tab for the non canon playable characters for each route, just let us use those in the training function
>Shez is super enthusiastic about Annette's songs
>Shez says they just don't understand the appeal of Dorothea's
Shez is autistic for a reason.
Annettes are child like and pure while Dortheas you can hear the prostitute in them.
Annette speaks to the soul of the common man, Dorothea is a plaything for the nobility.
Shez flatters Dorothea far more than they ever do Annette though
Do inverted items also affect spell cds?
Want to make Lysithea a trickster so wanted to have phys/mag swap weapon to do this.
They do. Get the redipil in ng+ for sword and arrows of indra for spear if you want your hybrid to not be shit as these two items wont nerf anything unlike inverted
To unlock Arval's paralogue, I have to not recruit Byleth right?
Other way around.
You have to recruit Byleth so you can get Arval for NG+, then you have to not recruit byleth so you can access that paralogue
>Want to get the Arval paralogue
>If I kill Byleth in AG I lose an exclusive paralogue
>If I kill Byleth in GW I lose an exclusive paralogue
>If I kill Byleth in SB I miss Jeralt's supports with Manuela
god damn it do they really want you to play every route twice
>If I kill Byleth in GW I lose an exclusive paralogue
If it's the leonie one you can do that on SB
Wait what how is this even possible?
It's their conversation in the secret chapter
I think it's the conversation they have in the extra chapter when you spare Jeralt.
all the lords have a C support with each other
arval traps everyone in zaharas when you recruit byleth. The lords have nothing to do so they chat with each other
>Play a bunch of Three Houses, clear every route
>Think I finally understand the game enough to try Maddening
>Get my shit pushed in before I even get to Miklan
Frick bros, why does every Fire Emblem game have the whole "Normal too easy, Hard too hard" problem
Anyone here feel the same or am I a shitter
Early game FE is always painful, then you get your footing and it starts to become a cake walk
>Shez straight up explains that they have no idea why people want their opinion on shit and that they essentially just regurgitate phrases and lines they've read in books
>Lysithea asks for Shez's true feelings
>Shez just repeats a line from a book
>Lysithea falls for it immediately hook, line, and sinker
Shouldn't Shez be ashamed that they're flirting with/courting a child?
Why are you taking something that's obviously done for humor so seriously?
because lysithea is my (byleth's) wife...
But she's MY wife...
Why am I talking to myself? But yes, she is my wife.
She falls for it and says that's probably just a line if you pick to say your true feelings, but Petra feels the best for Shez, just go with her to Brigid when the wars over, Shez isn't afraid to fight like a Brigid so they'll do fine there
Why should they? They're hardly any older than her
literally the worst part of the gams that could have been the best, simply due to the alt universe NTR. FRICK
who cares about Byleth? They're less of a character than Shez
>who cares about Byleth
ME! SHE'S LITERALLY FRICKING ME.
>SHE
Byleth isn't you. Byleth is just another character
You're you in your sad reality. You will never be a character in the game
how many eggs can she lay at once?
why is frog whearing brown wig?
>Battalion Vantage + Wrath Dimitri in Hunting by Daybreak
How? Dimitri comes with a new Battalion that is at full health. Dimitri himself ends up dead before he can get his battalions down to one third health. It's the main reason why I have to change his setup during chapter 12 to make sure I don't get fricked in chapter 13
Also Hunting by Daybreak has no preparation screen. It's one of several reasons why it's such a notorious chapter.
Enlightened One would be a lot more fun to play if the class gauge didn't take a goddamn year to fill all the way holy shit
Byleth, I ever tell you I was born in the kingdom? Some would even say I was a true knigh-ACK!
