Bed of chaos has always been a minor inconvenience. It's very easy to tell who has actually played DaS and who gets their opinions about it from e-celebs
You can die a lot in Bed of Chaos unless you take your time to learn some patterns. And I usually do Left first,Right second, it’s very easy to just run and not mind the falling floor.
Bed of Chaos just kills me after a tentacle and I get combo'd or when I roll to dodge it's swipe but the collision drags me along with it. Though if I'm gonna be honest, Gwyndolin is my least favorite boss in Dark Souls since at least Bed of Chaos gives a bit of a rush sometime. Gwyndolin is some scooby doo ass chase sequence where you hide behind pillars and go "ZOINKS!" when he does a huge magic ball and run out the way. Bed of Chaos is Scooby Doo as well which is why it's next to Gwyndolin. Cool lore for both at least.
I played it today and got swiped into the pit while walking up the center to one of his random arm movements so yep it's the worst thing ever possibly second only to the centipede demon

Paper Jam has great combat, but the world and story was dogshit. It had forced soul with King Bomomb returning but will never be as soulful as Dream Team, the entry that only managed to be more soulful than Superstar cause it brings backs the good characters from PiT and BiS story as well
