>too bad it isn’t an efficient money maker
Early game it's the most efficient by a huge margin.
Then you're just tagging each type of fish until you can have a go at all the legendaries so it keeps you fishing for quite a while.
Just get sprinklers to make you money while you enjoy fishing
Where the frick do I find the Dwarf Scroll IV the yellow one? It says mines at lv80+ and I've been in there so long I have like 500 gold ores. Sometimes a blue scroll drops from enemies and not the yellow one. I also have that Burgular's ring that makes enemies drops items be increased. I like fishing but yeah those very few high ranking darting fish like the octopus and some legendary are infact aids. Also the fish in the Mines suck too because they never fricking spawn, endless ghost fish or trash items, never the Lava Eel or the ice or rock ones
You're better of ploughing the soil than fighting monsters for it.
RNG bro, sometimes I have 4 of the frickers by the first Autumn, other times I'm raping lvl 95's soil patch for 20 minutes straight for a 0.2% drop chance.
This run I've got over 15 diamonds before reaching the bottom of the mine halfway through spring, other times I get 2 prismatic shards from dust Black folk in first spring, other times I'm hitting the skull cavern to genocide dragons and mummies because the travelling cart fricked me for a red cabbage.'
There's also the time I finally found a red cabbage, posted it here, but didn't actually fricking buy it from the cart and went to sleep. Frick that time.
>RNG bro
I guess I'll try the soil raping then but yeah my current playthrough in winter year 1 I still have no red cabbage and no yellow dwarf scroll but I have found 4 prismatic shards, 3 of which came from opening omni geodes and 1 from a slime that was in the mines below level 40.
Fishing is pretty much my favorite bit. The mines were decent as well. I never really expanded past a relatively modest farm despite getting two years or so into the game.
Stardew is so comfy. I love it when people keep their farms in a more untammed way like yours.
We see many pictures of ultra controlled farms, all paved or so autistically "perfect" that they look soulless.
Yours look a lot like mine, I love it.
Behead all pedotrannies
When he's not first post it is inevitably worst post.
Funniest part is that they literally can't help but talk about Jas anyway.
too bad it isn’t an efficient money maker I had to drop this game because autism
just keep replaying the first season when it is.

i watched a stardew valley 100% speedrun and the guy spent most of the first season fishing
Enjoyable but consumes too much time
>Fishing
frick this, crab trap till fishing 10, then you can actually fish.

stardew is cuckshit in 2023 everyone is just waiting for chocolate game now
why is haley the best girl
She just is
Haley is best wife. Penny is best girl.
And she can be even better
is there a game like stardew valley but with more side stuff and less focus on farming specifically
Rune Factory
which one
RF4.
why not 3 or 5
Slime rancher.
You breed slimes. You can farm or forage feed for them with farm plots, but those are basically automated from the get go.
I haven't played it but supposedly Graveyard Keeper is that. It's also supposedly a grindfest which is why I never pulled the trigger on buying it.
Stardew. Just go fishing > ranching or artisan goods. Rebalance mods help to make things more viable.
i have 800+ hours in the game because this is the only game my gf ever likes to play
Based gf
I introduced it to both my sisters, then call them a bunch of fricking scrubs for only having at most 20 crops by autumn 1st year
>the only people that like fishing in the game are Willy, Pam and Elliot
>you will never have a cute fisherwoman wife in Stardew Valley.
Fishing fricking sucks in that game, something like animal crossing style would have been a thousand times better.
What's animal crossings style?
At least in Wild World, you'd throw the line, wait for the fish's shadow to move towards it and bite. I vastly prefer SDV's since it's nearly instant.
Night of Summer 6 Year 1
Just about to plat some melons in that bottom patch and lay sprinklers

The ones that balance farm with nature are the best.
