They need to change their approach to human character designs. They're not talented enough to pull off these busy, ambitious concepts. They just end up looking moronic.

Avery is a cool design and character. What makes him weird and unpleasant is the ugly outfit, but considering he is actually meant to come off as kinda mean and pathetic personality-wise, it was actually a fitting choice.
I actually find him a more clever design and character than Klara, probably because that kind of trope is more overdone with female characters compared to male ones.
He still got the bishie vibes and I'm weak for that.
I hate Avery too. I had to buy sword just to get the good rival. It's bothersome that Bea, Melony and Klara are version exclusive to the point of only appearing in one version.
