If instead of pretending to be SMT
They copy off persona instead I bet digimon will be more popular

Fricking finally! I was struggling at first, due to a low number of Digimon and poor leveling. Then I turned on autobattle and watched my garbage Digimon faceroll enemies 15 levels higher. Never went back to manual combat.

The CS games and Survive are litterally the best selling Digimon games since DW1

In fact, CS sold more then DW1 if you include the multiple releases

CS was the good one and the rest rode its coattails until they ran out of goodwill

Wait, this game actually came out? I thought it was cancelled

Nah. It was delayed multiple times, but it ended coming out last year.
It's a mediocre VN with a braindead tactical RPG battle system.
As a Digimon game it's somewhat entertaining.

maybe if you weren't forced to play through it twice for the true ending

We knew from the beginning that Survive was an asset flip of the stuff they're using to make Cyber Sleuth 3 that they put out because CS3 is taking way too long.

      >Cyber Sleuth 3

No. It's going to be set in Iliad most likely so why would it be CS3?

it's because they didn't make the game people wanted

I get the logic of what they wanted to do: basically make a playable season of the aime. But when day one commercial one I saw that it looks like a mobile game I knew it was a good idea to skip it.
I wonder what Bandai thinks of it.

    >be a Digimongay on Xbox
    >buy this day one in the vain hope that Bamco will port more Digimon games to the platform
    >Digimon World: Next Order ports are announced
    >it’s only for Switch and pc, Xbox is excluded yet again
    >still no port of Cyber bawds after all these years

literally just buy any other platform, you did this to yourself. being a fan of something from japan and then buying an xbox? the console known for getting skipped constantly by games from japan. they didnt even get the digimon games that sell well. reminds of of all the so called EDF fans on xbox that have never played the game but still port beg like crazy. its never worth waiting and hoping for a port, just use a platform that actually gets the games and be done with it

Didn’t it sell 500k? Considering how long it was stuck in dev hell the net profit probably wasn’t much (if any) but for a VN that’s pretty good

      >for a VN
Some people definitely didn't expect it to be 100% pure VN

Either whoever is in charge of digimon at bandai is moron or just hates the series. Its impressive that for a decade the only new digimon game we got was a poorly translated vn

are you actually ignoring all the other dgimon games that have been released?

What part of new games do you not understand? Releasing a port of a vita game 5 years later does not make it a new game
