>Fools, our cause is righteous!
Is it really though? Didn't the Defias gang literally go around Westfall and indiscriminately murder anyone who didn't join them, from farmers to townsfolk? Doesn't seem very righteous to me, seems more like terrorism.
forsen
where is my
>debating morality in a slot machine with a deceptive UI
because it's better than having him yell out "Fools, our cause is morally grey!"
Many terrorist leaders believe they're doing what they do for the 'greater good', it makes logical sense that Van Cleef would believe his cause is in fact, righteous, considering all of the hardship his people endured to get to that point
>morally grey
Nothing grey about it, moron
Well considering a lot of quests in Stormwind involve disposing of corrupt nobles up to and including the big stinking dragon in disguise that was the entire reason for the Defias forming in the first place, I think Eddy boy had a bit of a point.

>seems more like terrorism.
this is what anti-union bootlickers want you to believe
if the kingdom had just paid their fricking bills none of it would have happened
I remember this guy he got bigger based on the number of cards you played so you would use lots of coins or 1 mana spells before playing him
this guy's outfit confuses me, is he wearing a jacket with pauldrons? and it's not even covering his chest
Whoa, you noticed that WoW armor isn't realistic? You must be crazy smart.
It's obviously never been realistic, I just can't tell what's supposed to be "armor" and what's him wearing a jacket or something.
It's not that it's unrealistic, it looks fricking weird.
yes.
>Rebuild entirety of Stormwind city after the war, agree to be paid when things get better
>Nobles decide to just not pay for it
>Entire mason guild does bankrupt, you all lose everything while the king & nobility feast
I can't blame VanCleef for being mad. The farmers are all serfs anyways, many joined up on their own. The ones who resisted were considered royalist bootlickers who fought for their own slavery.
that's not even what happens, not even close, why does everyone parrot this exact thing every time? is it some youtube essay or some shit?
Go on then, tell us what happens.
just play the game
terrorism is just a another label for revolutionaries, so if they win their cause is righteous
Gets cannonically killed and replaced by his daughter.
Who also goes on to be killed.
Was kind of hoping it'd lead to some kind of interesting frick you to Stormwind, even if they just acted as a ferry for Horde Black folk.
She wasn't killed and she's even present in the latest expansion
How would you even fight the defias in the open world if they were not just doing generically evil stuff? And if they were not in the open world you would hardly know they exist. This is a game where enemies walk around an open world and attack anything that gets near them. They need a reason to do this. Maybe they are thieves, maybe they are blood thirsty, maybe they are an enemy faction, maybe they are just insane or corrupted.
If you want the lore to match this you can't have interesting lore. The lore would entirely consist of Saturday morning cartoon villains. Than you wouldn't read it and would have less to enjoy. So be glad there is inconsistancy.
the game really was worse for dropping all the race specific political intrigue and low stakes local stories in favor of becoming a soap opera revolving around big name npcs monologuing at each other while the player character stands silently like a moron off to the side. and that's not even touching on the cosmic forces homosexualry or the narrative style of the modern game just being Steven Universe meets Lost with furries and orcs sprinkled on top
Is art on the right official?
what do you think?
WTF is going on here?
lel the orc literally has the Warhammer Chaos undivided symbol tattooed on his arm.
Warcraft 2 orcs summoned Khornate looking demons and the humans trained paladins from an overtly Christian church
Warhammer ripped off the eternal champion and didn't come up with chaos, any of the gods, or the symbol.
you can't ripoff warhammer
Man, that AO3 story where his daughter was raped by everyone in the Stockades was great.
source?
>Is it really though?
In his hypothetical mind it is
I suppose you disagree
