The dev did vanish for a while. My guess is it has something to do with his impoverished shitty setup. He posted a picture somewhere and being unironic I think 70% of the users in Ganker probably have better CPUs than him. He's back now tho, he updated the game just last month.
And no, not yet. You get an almost scene but both characters don't think it feels right so they stop. Most likely it'll be in the next update based on how it went down.
