I despise Evergrace with all my soul. Easily the worst game I've ever played to completion.

Then you haven't played many games. Evergrace is hardly one of the worst games out there, I question as to why would finish it when you hate it so much?
I finished it because it intrigued me and had some cool things in it, large weapon variety with special moves, interesting atmosphere, great music and frankly not knowing what I was going to see.
Flawed game but I did enjoy it overall.
i liked it for playing close to a 3d Secret of Mana with how stamina worked, the unique looking weapons and armor were pretty neat too. also being able to dye your own armor is a nice feature in any game.

I love Evergrace's OST, but I prefer Forever Kingdom's overall, it's got more comfy midwest emo sounding guitars. That said, both games are absolutely awful, the OSTs deserved better.
Also now that their shitty composer quit maybe Kota Hoshino can go back to making FROM's soundtracks.
Kota Hoshino did the soundtrack for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.
