Should try to keep it as low as possible, and if a game has annoyingly loud sound effects, turn them down. And if you're using earbuds, change to over-the-ear headphones.
I think I got tinnitus from turning up my earbuds in the gym, so I could hear the music over all the noise. Definitely take note of any sound warnings from your device(s).
>wears headphones with no sound turned on for two hours >Noooo I’ve gone deaf why didn’t I listen to the WHO and get my tinnitus vaccine
Frick those morons in the WHO. The whole work when mad and put them in charge for three years over a fricking cold.
WHO also recommends abstaining from all foods and substances that can cause health issues in excess, meat included.
If it was up to WHO, meat consumption would be limited to up to 3 portions of meat per week per person, and weekly total meat intake should not be larger than around 36oz per person.
WHO also said Corona wasn't real at first and, if it WAS real, it was definitely NOT China!
Who the frick pays these grifting scumbags the slightest attention?
>You just love making shit up.
Anon, it isn't even a debatable fact.
The WHO stifled Taiwan letting people know about Corona back before/during chink new years. It's literally the reason it made it out of china at all.
So basically im just going to keep using them (the headphones!!)
Ugh i know!! I'm sorry. Its just that im not going to stop wearing them (the headphones) is all
I actually did damage my hearing years ago to earphones. Not headphones, but having an earphone in one ear during bus rides to school eventually did build up damage in my left ear.
Luckily my right is fine so that offsets it mostly, but it's a bit shit in games where I do need to hear where enemies are coming from.
>always thought headphones and earbuds were for gays and listened to shit exclusively on speakers >hearing perfect at 30+ with zero tinnitus even in dead silence
I also wear ear protection plugs to the cinema if it's a moron director like Nolan, the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE demon isn't going to get me in this lifetime
Whatever. I'm 37 and wear headphones for probably 5-6 hours a day with the volume pretty loud. My hearing is still fine though I'm sure there's some loss. Not gonna live forever, so why not use it while I got it?
I've never worn headphones in my entire life.
Not even for listening to music?
I'm not a homosexual so I use speakers.
I am a huge gay, so I use headphones
I only use headphones when playing online games with friends, so like one night every week or two.
RIP anon's ears.
I wear headphones all day, even though im not listening to anything most of the time.
How much is volume a factor in this? I usually have mine pretty damn low.

RIP call service who have to wear them 8-10 hours per day.
It doesn't count when it is wageslaving.

And all of it bug protein 🙂
And? They might be right, they're not enforcing it, so why the knee jerk reaction?
Pointing out that a thing we do is unhealthy isnt a bad thing, anon
> they're not enforcing it
There’s nothing to enforce you moron.

Glad I don't constantly use headphones, but some of my friends do.
You just love making shit up.
