Anytime - Any game supersedes PING as the highest criteria for matchmaking, it permafricks its online, which CoD did years ago, which is why it hasn't felt fun for a long time.
Pubg and Apex fill my need for FPS anyways, and Xdefiant looks half way decent for a CoD replacement. Just hope they aren't also fricking up their match making with SBMM.

No one is relying on team mates to directly get kills you fricking baiting homosexual. Bad team mates will feed sweats and put you at a disadvantage when EMPs and AUAVs get dropped on you. I consistently see lobbies where me and maybe some else ends with a positive k/d and then the rest are completely negative, meanwhile almost everyone on the enemy team has k/ds past 1. Frick this garbage system

That and constant hacking is basically why I don't play these games anymore. I miss MW1 where if the team sucked you can just jump servers. I even miss MW2 where it just dumped you in with randos. How anyone has fun with multiplayer fps anymore is beyond me, I assume you have to be on drugs

So if you play an average of 8 games a night, the algorithm will give you 6 hard matches against better and equally skilled players, and then give you 2 easy matches against noobs. This incentivizes you to play more games to get satisfaction that you were previously deterred from. This practice increases player engagement which in turn increases the likelihood of spending money on cosmetic items

If the money from games decreases while the money from subscriptions rises by the same amount, stockholders (the important guys) are going to note that the money from games has starkly decreased. They will not care that the money from subscriptions has gone up, because that's not the product they're looking at. Microsoft gets the same amount of money, but they have more pressure put upon them to cut "weaker" links which is why Arkane and Tango got the chop.
