I think it looks fine, and as a gameplay-oriented franchise, it'll be a guaranteed 5/10 at the minimum. However, I just don't see what it brings to the table that will merit overwhelming praise. It needs something that sets it apart from any other platformer, it needs challenge. That's the one risk Nintendo will NEVER take in any of their modern games, which is unfortunate.
