the comic got cancelled
>series
it was one game anon, calm down
Wasn't there a sequel in the works?
Nintendo never stated this.
Ever.
Just a manga.
Either way it did like 2.5mil as a brand new Fighter IP.
It did more than fine, and we'll get one per console most likely.
HOW you fricking Black person?
ARMS has outsold many legacy fighting IPs.
What fricking meteric did it fail by you cum guzzling homosexual?
You realize BotW was their most expensive game by this point yes? It ONLY needed 2mil copies.
ARMS was significantly less expensive and still crossed that line.
I wish c**ts like you would do the world a favor and rectally chug bleach.
why do smash gays keep attempting to push the >arms failed meme?
isn't Min-Min exactly what you want
>a female fighter with boobs and butt
>not a sword user
>adds a new series
>from a game that sold over 2 million so not a literal who
>has that Nintendo "Japanese art made to have global appeal" aesthetic rather than "anime"
>why do smash gays keep attempting to push the >arms failed meme?
Because it did.
it outsold the best selling games in most series in Smash Bros including Xenoblade, Mother, Wario, Kid Icarus, Castlevania, Fatal Fury and so
>Xenoblade, Mother, Wario, Kid Icarus, Castlevania, Fatal Fury
All series normalBlack folk don't care about so of course they won't sell tons of copies. Hell, the average normalhomosexual not only won't buy Fatal Fury, but doesn't even know what it is
Actually, it hasn't outsold Xenoblade 2 and won't do so any time soon. But the rest is true.
it did by a small margin
Oh right, had the numbers mixed up. However Xenoblade 2 will have outsold it by the next CESA report. Or rather, has sold more than it right now.
it doesn't matter, it's a first party nintendo EAD game, these things generally sell in the tens of millions, 2 millions is pathetic
also no one cares or remember arms contrary to more niche series that have a dedicated fanbase and a real impact on the industry thanks to their influence
cool imaginary rules bro
A competitive multiplayer fighting game selling a lot doesn't really mean much for long-term success if majority of the players bought it for the single player campaign and the community died right away and not even the developer continued to support it like their other multiplayer series (smash and splatoon).
When is the last time you saw people discuss any other facet of the game besides how no one plays it?
I want to squirt buckets of baby batter in Min Min's love tunnel
I want to eat her soup
why did Xenoblade fail bros...
???
Xenoblade 2 STILL keeps selling year after year.
>can't even outsell ARMS
it's over...
By all intents and purposes as of the time of this thread there's a chance it already has outsold it. And it will have definitely outsold it next year. Do you not see how it keeps selling hundreds of thousands every year???
According to the numbers anon posted it is actually outselling it right now.
is too slow after the other xenos monolith shat out
Yeah ARMS only sold 600k copies in 4 years, it's never catching up with Xenoblade 2's legs.
I'm not sure what went wrong with your picrel but Starfield isnt a series
wow hot baabhabhiat
I played it during that period of time when they allowed you to try it for free. It was mediocre.
Definitely not worth $60 for how monotonous it gets
It was sadly overshadowed by Splatoon and Smash Bros. Which is a shame because it was a really unique fighter.
The wagglan contributed to its demise. It's a launch Switch title, and for the first year or so Nintendo were still insisting on treating the Switch like a direct successor to the Wii. But by then the motion control fad was dead. How many people even remember that the reason the joycons are split in two is so they could be used like a Wiimote+Nunchuk?
>unique
It took its ideas from Virtual-ON and punch-out. There's nothing unique or original about arms.
it plays pretty unique with mixing TPS elements and fighters together
thats like saying splatoon is just a TPS that ripsoff Tony Hawks paint the park mode
The arms devs are also the mario kart devs so they are trapped in dlc hell and probably working on 9.
The problem with ARMS is that it's developed by the Mario Kart team. If some other random studio made it it would certainly be considered a success and get a sequel, but when the alternative is working on games that sell 50 millions copies would you really bother with ARMS?
I'm glad the producer had good taste and recommended her for Smash instead of Spring Man.
he redeemed himself after Baby Rosalina
