Four paddles on the back is a godsend & let you play games like Elden Ring comfortably without having to do the funky Snoyclaw grip.
Does anyone manufacture a controller with four backpaddles/buttons that AREN'T gimmicky insertables?

Corsair or their parent company are holding a patent on backpaddles, so no. No manufactureres
Daily reminder that Corsair killed the Steam controller with their patent trolling.
Do not buy Corsair keyboards. Do not buy Corsair memory. Do not buy Corsair mice. Do not buy Corsair headsets. Do not buy Corsair fans. Do not buy Corsair PC cases. Do not buy Corsair power supplies. Do not buy Corsair AIOs. Do not buy SCUF controllers.
Never heard this, elaborate so I know you're not a moronic homosexual

Are console Black folk for real?
Would explain why the dualsense doesn't even try to have it.
The elite falls apart if you look at it
Why the frick does this thing have like a 90% failure rate? It would be the goated controller otherwise. The normal xbox controllers hold up, why can’t this..
made in Africa
I have no idea. I had mine for less than a year and the rubber peeled off of it. You walk into Best Buy and they have a couple dozen open box returns on the shelf. I don't even know why they are putting these back on the shelf as open box returns.
the more moving pieces you add to any tech the easier it falls apart, it's why the Nintendo 64 stick would basically become dust
I remember how fast that stick wore out, especially when so many games had you moving the damn thing around crazily due to minigames or whatever. I remember having a madcatz N64 controller that was black and the joystick was steel with a comfy cap, and it was oriented so that the stuck was on the far left side of the controller so I could play it like a regular controller almost.
Pic related.
As ugly as that looks it still cant beat how bad the 64 crontroller is. I bet it felt good though, the ugly ones always do.
I had that controller. I literally could not play Mario Kart or Smash without it. I loved it
It wouldn't be. It's objectively worse in pure measurement terms to the dualsense. Worse stick, worse latency.
Better battery, better ergonomics of nor asian people with baby hands.
I have bundle controller from Xbox SX, SS also 2x Power-A and have no problem. Last month I buy Elite II and LB and RB buttons are broken after 5h.
there are tons of controllers coming out with back buttons
I wonder if I should get that Xenon. I miss the 360 controller so bad bros
>Good morning gameSIR
Are they trolling or how is this shit real?
Did you think you were a special and unique anti-normie with a real personality for using a website that boomers featured on fox news as le hecking edgy for years?
>two manufacturer's with four back buttons
>both chinese made-to-crap third-world shit
WOW, GOTTEM
better question is when is someone going to make a controller with 6 shoulder buttons and 6 face buttons?
>he cant claw grip without a second thought
youre on the low end. i bet you dont/cant turn your keyboard vertical either
Valve® Corporation Steam© Deck™
Business idea: develop a high quality non chinkshit controller with premium materials (like if the Xbox elite wasn't hot garbage) that uses hall effect sensors on the sticks and has 4 rear buttons
All you need are two extra buttons for Elden Ring. One for run and one for swapping Spells.
For ds3 I used all 4 back buttons on my xbone elite controller (previous gen)
One for roll, one for swapping weapons, one for swapping spells and one for swapping item
That sounds nifty but I don't know if I'd spend so much on a controller for it. Honestly, I think just having the run/roll button is enough and everything other shortcut like swapping items, spells, and weapons is overkill. It's probably better to have the 4 extra buttons for the Elite but I'm hard pressed to find more games besides Soulslikes that can make use of back buttons.
I got the controller for like 80 bucks from combining two discounts so it was worth it
Would definitely not pay 200
I would probably get it at that price considering the standard DS4 is like 60 and the back button attachment is 20, so it evens out. It's great having back buttons for Souls games.
This controller was the GOAT.
>she's still claw gripping the controller in Souls games
I got just the remedy for that: it's called changing your fricking control bindings, which is free.
I use a controller that has macro buttons because i am a king.
Aren't the Elite core's trash anyway?
>>Does anyone manufacture a controller with four backpaddles/buttons that AREN'T gimmicky insertables?
The elite design is the best one, though. You can remove buttons you don't need.
Well, actually, the scuf backplate you can get for the original elite is the best one. It has better placement, and doesn't get in the way as much as the stock design, where it's hard to use more than 2 buttons at once.
Where are you supposed to rest your fingers?
