The knights trilogy sucked ass in my opinion, automatic run is cringe af.Yeah sonic lost worlds maybe sucked but it was still great somehow gameplay wise.Mania was like the last time sonic was actually good and felt like it was ready to recover, buut reality hits hard. Sonic forces came and sega lost me as a sonic fan. It just feels like sonic was only good when the creator was still in Sega

It's the only one in its series with a coherent narrative and genuinely has better developed characters than EB. One can cite the basic combat and moronic difficulty spike as issues but it's an RPG and it dominates in the areas that matter.
