Are there any ? Im on PC , "oldies" are also ok , ive played several different games form F.E.A.R. combat to the OG MW2 to Warzone (trash) to Apex Legends ( its decent in my oppinion ) .

You only need HL1 if you're playing the original Zombie Panic. Zombie Panic Source was released on Steam as a standalone that doesn't need anything else installed.
Do people still play either of those? I used to love Zombie Panic but couldn't get into Source.

Rarely people will get together to play ZP but it's pretty much dead. ZPS still has some players, but it's been declining after a new team took it over. Supposedly there's another sequel being planned by the original developer but I think it's still just being discussed.

This would be where I'd recommend Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory from 2003, but the servers have been completely unplayable dogshit now for the better part of the last decade. I'd give a TF2 a try if you somehow haven't played it. Quake Champions is already very underrated, and still has barely enough players for a match.

I fricking hate hero shooters and battle royales, but out of those bunch apex is the most tolerable.
If you haven't burned out on CSGO yet, its "free" and by far the most polished game, but you have to buy a prime upgrade if you want to actually play it.
Titanfall 2 is 5 bucks, only decent and somewhat alive arena fps out there.
Everything else is cancer and im sick of it. I haven't played cod since bo2, my only hope is that come october mw2 will keep me busy otherwise i'll kill myself.
the matchmaking for vanilla Titanfall 2 multiplayer is getting buttfricked by server problems though, but once you do get in a game it's all peachy
ye, obviously if anyone chooses titanfall 2 getting the northstar client is almost mandatory
Rogue Company is third person but it’s pretty fun for short bursts. Enlisted if you’re into WW2 type games. Paladins if you’re more into hero type shooters.
Whenever F2P hits, World War 3 is pretty fun, albeit jank sometimes
Forgot to mention Splitgate if you’re more into arena type shooters. Crsed is also a BR. Valorant is the hot thing right now.

The cycle frontier is pretty fun. Wiping a geared player with only a knife is extremely satisfying

I would still give it a go honestly. You can instantly que back into the game because the servers are persistent. You can camp on the map for hours if you want to and run inside a building, mine or cave when the electrical storms hit. Ever played STALKER? This game has blowouts similar to Call of Pripyat and most mods like Anomaly.

xontic is more like unreal in many ways and is pretty nice and unique (like sone of the base weapons lets you blast jump)
also, it was made after the quake 3 source was released as a libre-arena FPS, so similarities are going to be there.
Splitgate. It's literally Halo but with portals.
