Im at the point in my life where i value my time more than a free game.
Still remember the feeling of being in the flooded jungles knowing I couldnt sprint away from infected. Just hearing a screech from the treeline and the sound of splashing water. Fun game
Dead Island 1 is a much better game, the first two maps are kino and there's a big ass open world with lots of shit to find and lots of side quests and even vehicles to drive and run over zombies with.

I have been paying 0 attention to the story of dying light 2. The gameplay is just so fricking fun what's you start understanding everything including glitches you can do with the combat and parkour. I'm having a ton of fun. But the survivors and PK faction shit bores me to death.
It's ok for a playthrough but it does nothing better than the first game
Riptide is simply an expansion. I wouldn't recommend it unless you played the first one and want another questline.
