Vsync being on is important. I don't like watching the top and bottom halves of my screen tear apart.
Depends on your monitor refresh rate.
If you have a +240hz monitor you can disable Vsync and you won't notice the tearing because of the high refresh rate.
And no, you don't need high fps for this, just a high refresh rate.

Depending on the monitor and game this can be more or less noticeable.
I understand that most people have bad eyes these days and can't tell that their games flicker and look blurry.
It's best to just disable all syncing, all upscaling, all AA (unless it is true super sampling) and play on a high refresh rate monitor.

Cause it doesn't, having to use DLSS on PERFORMANCE mode on a fricking 3090 to have playable framerates is the very definition of poor performance, cause DLSS on performance mode means the game is being rendered at below 50% of the set resolution, meaning that if you're playing at 4K, the game is actually being rendered at 720p.
And if you think that a 3090 needing to render the game at 720p to get playable framerates is good performance, you're just delusional.
