he caught a fish know as a 'Sea Bass.' Then he says 'See? Bass!". The word 'Sea' and 'See' are pronounced the same. He is asking for you to give your attention to the bass he caught by phonetically saying the same thing twice.
Yes, old AC games are practically unplayable after all the QoL updates ACNH has. There are plenty of other QoL updates it needs but the older games are painful.
Slowly turning your island into the land of your desires is fun but if villagers all just spoke in animalese and you couldn't understand them and they made random emotes while talking it would unironically be better. The events are bad and visitors are a good idea but overall much less comfy then earlier games. Though I have played this one way more than the other ones tbh since you have a few fun chores to do everyday for nook miles so you can get the default nook miles furniture to spruce up your island with.
Without Harv's island I think the idea is you would pay other people an exorbitant amount of miles tickets for a genuine copy of a piece they already have which is a fun idea but then they should tell you somewhere you're never going to finish it without online but with Harv's Island it should take less than a year to finish I think. There shouldn't be many things that take longer than a year to complete imo and definitely not a big thing like the museum.
>catch a horse mackerel/freshwater goby (5x) Especially annoying if you misremembered the correct shadow size.
I just finished moving all my flowers from the breeding pit to everywhere around the island and holy FRICK my town is starting to become gorgeous. When does Leif change his inventory on Harv's island dammit? There's 13 different shrubs and I need five of each of them. I also need bamboo trees, how many nook miles tickets on average is it find a bamboo island?
imo animal crossing is no fun without friends that also play and eventually becomes no fun when those friends stop playing. I feel the same way about pokemon games as well.
that's not to say they're bad games but they're the type of games you can only really enjoy with a suitable environment
i get it
I don't, please explain
sea that bass?
No.

>Sneed Bass
where is the funny (me ESL)
"See" and "sea" are homophones.
that's kinda gay
Can't believe we still have to deal with that kind of bigotry in 2023
museum is a b***h to fill
The worst is art
Time traveling ffor the museum is mandatory
How long does it take if you buy from Redd at Harv's everyday? I still need to Gulliver to wash up 15 more times too...
What does it say in the japanese version?
Seeu? Bassuruuu
who "close eyes and listen for plunk" here?
Is New Horizons worth it?
no
no
yes

>ACNH
>QoL
Whatever "QoL" you think they added doesn't balance out breaking tools and an obnoxious crafting system.

OG Animal Crossing is peak soul
was ocean fishing really the fastest way to get bells other than abusing global trade
I want the coffee shop but filling the entire museum is absurd

I'm on a sea bass diet.
