The girls are literally the only reason to play Neptunia
Not a single person would ever say that Neptunia is remotely good or even average, especially not Re;Birth. But my life still belongs to my wife and one true Goddess, subject of my eternal affection and love.
This artist draws the best Blancs. I personally don't like much the other artist's work you've mentioned.

what didn't you like about
Mostly the "dungeons", they are literally a couple corridors with almost nothing going in there except the enemy spawns and a boss at the end. The presentation is really good so I gave it a chance until playstation land, couldn't force myself to keep going through after that. Also there was a dragon that clashed entirely against the general artstyle of the game. It was also overleveled for the area.
The games are trash but the characters are good everyone agrees. I personally think they should have made more of the anime.
But that was the last decent Neptunia game and the last decent optimized one at best.

Nice bait, I'd believe you if you said Re;birth 3 since that's an unplayable piece of shit that crashes every 15 minutes, but Rb1 is easily the second best game in the series, only losing to VII.
HDN is and always will be better than Re;Birth. The story, character interactions, world building, and atmosphere are all leagues ahead of any other Nep game. I miss when the goddesses didn't really trust each other and each nation felt like its own secluded unique country.
Shame that actually playing it makes me want to kill myself.

I beat it. Only valid complaint are the copy pasted corridor dungeons with recolored enemies, especially later in the game. You got filtered.

Who the frick said the games were good? They're just mediocre JRPGs that went on to reuse every fricking asset. It solely only lives on because of its characters, moronic memes and nothing else.
Any game developed by Idea Factory/Compile Heart are not good. Some will argue that Mary Skelter games are fine but they just mimic any first person dungeon crawler slop you can get anywhere else.
The CGDCT aspect sufficiently compensates for the mediocre gameplay. It's not terrible, not painfully tedious, just mediocre. Gets better in later entries, worse in some of the spin-offs.
There are plenty of worse games without cute girls or great music.

I really want to play the Sega Hard Girls one but I really don't want to try playing through the series again until I get there. I feel too autistic to just jump into it despite just being a spinoff but.....I just need to see the Hard Girls again......I miss them....Mega Drive.....
I played it recently and I don't think it has that severe of any connectivity to the other games. There's a few references but most aren't that major. Its gameplay is very similar to the RB games as well so no need to burn yourself playing them to play it.
