Because you can re roll a lot of the motorics shit on the game or you can bypass entirely the need for them so they basically shot themselves in the foot by not adding more interesting options or branching paths depending on whether you had early points on it or not. To me, Conceptualization and Inland Empire represent the two sides of creativity. Conceptualization being the type where you create ideas on your own, whereas IE is where ideas are given to you by the universe. I'm more of the IE type, meaning that I typically don't create things from scratch, it's more about how open you are to the ideas the world is presenting to you, then finding a way to allow these ideas to become manifest in the real world.
