The player character in most games only exists to help you interact with the game world. What they look like doesn't actually matter as it's about everyone and everything else in the game that picks up the slack for making you care. Whether that vehicle is there to give you eye candy to help you relax between difficult encounters or makes you laugh seeing his shit get pushed in, they aren't what makes or breaks a game's immersion. Game-breaking bugs, bad writing, graphical issues and glitches, these are all immersion breakers.
When playing a male character I can feel like I am becoming the character, because as a man, I understand how men feel and think, no matter if it's a strong chad or some ugly abomination.
When playing a female character, I can't really feel with the character because I don't know how women think and feel.
Besides, women warriors are a stupid coomer powerfantasy. Historically, maybe 1% of warriors were female and an averagely trained man could beat the crap out of a female MMA pro.
Playing as a female character when you're a man is a huge red flag and tells me you're probably a troony.
And if you're not a troony it's a sign you'll probably be one soon.
