>friend tells me about new dungeon crawler
>buy cheapest "founders pack" to try it out
>on first day, can't login to play
>on second day, 17,000+ queue and 5 hour wait time because their servers can't handle all the players
I honestly don't know anything about this game. I saw a few gameplay videos that didn't look bad. Has anyone played it? I hear people comparing it to Warframe.
mmm more purple corporate slop
I love purple corporate slop
If I can't play it by the end of the day I'm refunding. At least I didn't get the $150 pack like others. Those dudes can only refund the $20 base pack and have to keep all the extra BS.
>anon gets filtered by the color purple
I want to play but it won’t let me
What the frick did I pay them for
It has Fortnite UI and the premium currency is always just, JUST barely enough to buy an item you might want so you're forced to overpay
Also good job wasting your money
Yeah, I got in last night and this morning.
It's basically Warframe crossed with Wildstar.
You have a set of heroes you do randomly generated dungeons that consist of one to two mini-bosses, possibly puzzle rooms, and then a final room that is either a horde or a larger mini-boss.
Then you have other dungeons that is just a entirely themed boss.
All characters can use whatever weapon you want, they're not limited to weapons.
Weapons and Characters will have skill trees later on I heard.
It's a mediocre to fun game if you have nothing else better to do and nothing more.
Official Discord is saying two-handed great sword is the strongest weapon atm but I don't know.
The game is of course P2Look Good at the wazoo with a Season Pass and whatever else you know from Fortnite or Call of Duty. Nothing so far that helps you win in a PvE game but I'm sure people will b***h.
It has a LOT of Gacha Game mechanics, especially when you want to summon a character, you need to farm materials like in Warframe or a currency from like Genshin Impact or Star Rail
Can you choose any character you want to start off? Or do you have to unlock them?
You get a choice between three of the starter heroes.
A Tank (the old guy from OPs image), a range shooter with grenades and gizmos, the black guy, and the rogue who's a succubus and uses starting daggers and teleports to go through enemy lines and puts dots on them
+ queue
Please say sike
Sorry, thats where I started in queue. It's going fast though. Since I started the thread, I'm now at 10,000. I'm sure people are dropping out of it as soon as they see the numbers or get tired of waiting. I'm making food and watching stuff in the meantime. It better not kick me out of the queue.
They're not lying, people have been trying to get in since last night and only people from Russia and China can manage to get in.
They just released a patch earlier this morning to add in a queue system. I've been in it for about four hours now and in the last hour it's said I'm in front of the queue. I started in the 6k queue but Ive heard it's double-digits now.
I'm in. Took about 45 minutes. Not too bad.
Whatever, whoever you choose hold off on upgrading your weapon to its next level when you get to that point, around Lvl 3 or 4 I think?
Just hold off on crap until you see what weapon you like and what hero you might want to spend mats on getting.
I'm going for Venom for the passive healing she can provide
I chose Niss for the tutorial but Venomess is who I want to play. When can I choose her?
>finished tutorial with Niss and wanted to try the tank dude
>hit no for playing Niss
>thrown out of tutorial and back into the queue
Why?
When you get far enough in the battlepass to unlock her. You could also try to grind her parts but the grind is so insanely long for the non starter characters that you will probably get her in the battlepass first.
It's probably the next thing they are gong to change after they change the item prices in the shop and people realize how fricking insane the grind is for characters. You need 24000 of the memory fragments you are finding like 8-30 at a time of for Senja and Kyros. The starter characters only need 6000.
That's ridiculous for the pricing. How's enemy variety? That's nice it's randomly generated dungeons, but it would get boring fast if it's the same 3 enemies over and over.
Purple and cyan/teal is the new brown and bloom. BK kids club hero shooter casts are the new white 30y old protagonist. Some gamer in the early 2010s found the monkey paw
>Purple and cyan/teal
I’m glad I like all those colors and nothing Ganker says will stop me from liking them
If anyone is interested in the story for the game it's pretty cliche but it goes like this
>Big bad destroyed worlds/realms with purple/blue herpies and is deleting everytthing
>Big bad destroyed beacons which were what was holding it back
>Heroes go in, all die outside a butch, white haired brown girl who's your guide trough the game
>Come to find out you're a sentient echo of all the heroes that died
>All the heroes we get are basically using their memories and bodies to fight the big bad
The end
A lot of attractive looking female characters though, the succubus barely wears any clothes, and there's two other female characters, on being a giant fricking butch viking woman that uses a two-handed axe and a goth chick that throws toxic alchemy wienertails at enemies and can do some off-heals for the party.
Anyone know what the go to weapon is yet? At least for Early Access?
too incompetent to do a stress test and reserve extra servers for the launch
Why did it get this many players? I havent even seen much shilling or hype for it
its goyslop, heavily appeals to normies
I played it for an hour or so, I actually like the gameplay, enemies need to be harder though
every game is goyslop for normies and most of them cant even get few thousands online
>enemies need to be harder
For fricks sake the problem with warframe is that there is no challenge or endgame despite the gameplay being good.
if this game has the same problems might as well not even bother
Yeah, the gameplay has the bones of something solid but if the enemies don't scale up fast it'll get real boring.
Think some of the open world boss spawn can be some what challenging. Know me and a dude were fighting a orb boss and it kept nearly one shotting us
>this many players
it's really not that many
their servers are just that shit
>20k just on pc alone
I think that’s pretty decent
>paying money to beta test a f2p game
anon pls
>server issues
>for goyslop #2738
Server issues are artificial. They do it so people think "man this game is sorta popular, must be bussin" and fall into the hype to buy a $20 pack to play it now.
I’m pretty sure they want people to play their game so they can get more money
I don't think that's what happened. A lot of people are refunding because they can't play. I think they're just incompetent devs.
I don't know how many are on PSN but the 17,000 queue only took 45-50 minutes. I figured it's just their servers being fricky because it went down pretty fast.
I thought I was free from PoE but it seems I won't be able to play this garbage today.
I hope we get some skill trees or something akin to Warframe and having mod cards to do different things.
Just have three accessories is boring af
>The only Whiteman is old man
every fricking time.
>Getting filtered by some fricking skin color of all things
Jfc what is happening to people they get so triggered by shit like this?
>cries about game not having gruff white guys
>game adds a gruff white guy
>still b***hes
No pleasing you people
It's okay, he fricks all the b***hes with his BWC. Why else would they put him front and center?
Imagine literally paying to beta test an f2p game that you can't even play and you people have the gall to constantly shit on those Blizzdrones, Genshingays and gatchagays?
Pretty sure anything is better than blizzard gays
