How about the MAS Super Pro Stick? It is the best for the early Marvel games in how it is very close to real arcade feel. I hear they are back which is great news, since the overlay is starting to peel after all these years.

If you don't want to saw it up yourself have a home improvement store like Lowes or Home Depot saw a piece of MDF up for you. They will do straight line cuts for 50 cents a cut.

That was my original idea until I saw the cost of parts and tools, it's cheaper and probably better to just get a Mayflash 500 or a 300 and put whatever buttons and stick you want.

Consider a HRAP as well. Japanese buttons are much more sensitive and Japanese stick is light for agility to move around.

My original MAS cost me $180 in 2002. With inflation that would be $296 today. And you could buy a stick like a Qanba Dragon for less than that now.

Tip: if you want a MAS style case there was a series called the Pelican Tournament Ready joystick released in the mid-2000s. Just replace the parts with IL parts and you've got basically the exact same thing. No soldering or other modding necessary. And if you look around you might even find one that has been pre-modded since most users ended up doing that with them.
