I want to do my own game. I'm thinking about something like an action shooter game, but with magic, nothing crazy. Game development has nothing to do with my career, but I think that I have some skills
>I can code in python, java and js
>I don't know how to use blender, but I'm already familiar with 3DCAD and Solidworks
>I have a cousin who can do some 2D art
Any tip from where I should start?

>Any tip from where I should start?

Ugh we already started bad, my sisters already took it for them and kicked me because I actually had a job...
>ai shit
>its bad because, um, it just is OK?
Its bad because her eyes are fricked up
The eyes are bad
The glasses are bad
The ends of her fingers look bad
The israeliteel looks bad
fixeable within 2seconds of inpainting that most people who generate waifus for the sake of generating waifus dont care to fix since its easier to gen another waifu
for anyone wanting to make a game it wont be a problem
>"fixeable within 2seconds"
>Still posts trash
Yeah, sure
i didnt post it kid, and i explained why people dont fix it, why would anyone waste time wtih fixing small bullshit on a hot girl image instead of generating another one in the meantime?
>fixing small bullshit
>The left side of the face literally melts
Ah, nAIggers have just been blind all this time. This explains a lot
Brother, let me clue you in here. Consumers of coomer art are largely blind. They have virtually no compass for quality. Their neurons get activated by the booba and buttcheeks. A melty hand or disjointed kneecap doesnt even register in their porn fried brains. Look at this appeareny human drawn image
The posing of the right hand is stiff and awkward, the scaling of the left arm is totally incongruent with the right and the artist must have fricked up the hat horribly, because he clearly cropped the top of the image in a way that hampers the entire composition. The mistakes that humans and AI make are different. A compotent artist can make a solid image, like that slightly flawed one of the genshin thot. A compotent artist can also identify and correct all of the mistakes of an AI gen, which could potentially increase his work output significantly. If you are an artist, you need to swallow your pride and start playing with these AI tools. They're flexible, powerful and can even be totally ethical if you make your own dataset. You will not be able to produce marketable, competitive content if you do nothing but decry these emergent tools for artists and you arent impressing anybody by pointing out obvious flaws in an AI gen while ignoring equally igregious mistakes in a piece you THINK was drawn by a human. Emphasis on think, because no one will be able to tell which is which by the end of the decade. If you dont want to hear this, stop fricking with digital art and get into wood carvings or something.
If it was that easy everyone would do it
Rerolling another pic is faster and gives more returns than working 20x as more on one pic
especially coom
It isnt that easy. It takes an artist's eye to clearly identify the problems and know how to seamlessly fix them in an image editing software. To a layman, poor quality ai gens just look "off". An artist can see exactly why it looks off.
>fixeable within 2seconds
Then why it isn't?
The answer lies in the second half of the first sentence of his post, you illiterate moron
Actually I'm not him though.
I don't get it, all laws indicate that Ganker should universally love AI by the sheer seethe factor in how much it upsets different groups, be it artists, furries, twittards, anyone who might be even remotely upset. Yet here they are, getting mad at mass-produced booba. I know Ganker's gay as hell but dam.
AI Black folk are like ponyfrickers, shoving their shit everywhere so much they had to make a GR. Just frick off, you're so annoying.
>but it good because it makes people seethe
Go leave, election tourist zoomer.
>getting this mad at an observation
Stay mad, I guess?
Actual answer, yeah makes better sense.
consider 2 things:
>older users with troll's remorse
>newbies
Nobody likes being lied to.
MOAR
>cousin can do 2d art
>posts soulless ai slop
I'm your cousin and I won't help you
bye john
I will exploit him once I start with the game.
You are quite a patrician sir, we will remember your devotion in the kingdom of magicland!

Godot?
How's the platform? What does let you do? It's hard to learn from zero?
whats the best godot can do?
Project Nortubel
Dead "engine"
Don't even need to open that to know it's ai slop
absolutely seething paintpiggies itt
Pute shooter games are the least succesful games btw
If you are using AI you literally don't have a product to sell, you need something of value, human craft, creativity or skill behind it.
It's like bottling air in hopes morons will buy it.
if it's your first game then make the smallest possible version of it you can possibly imagine
there are ai porn games. morons buy them
Reconcile your ambitions with your means. Without clarity and sufficient capacity to keep on making things your game endeavors are doomed.
You should start with making a game
Few tips
>learn level design, maybe make a DOOM .wad (or quake map) to practice if it's going to be fast paced.
>optimize the game, don't make ot so slow it's unplayable on a midrange PC.
>an action shooter game
2D or 3D?
If 2D probably Unity, 3D Unreal Engine, I started recently doing a game with Unreal Engine and the programming part with Blueprints it's actually quite easy.
For the visual part, you'll to learn Blender, it can do models, textures and animation, you can also do animations in Unreal Engine after you make the skeleton in Blender.
>From where I should start of I want to make a game?
First, learn English.
start watching tutorials and making simple shit
idk, but witches with big hats and commando dresses are definitely a great start
Unless you want to make another Unreal Engine asset flip template game you want to start small.
If you're using Unity than you'll probably need to take some Udemy classes.
Also, learn C#.
PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP
GET PREGNANT
GET PREGNANT
I would recommend watching unity tutorials for the individual features you want the game to have. You can pick up on c# bretty easy coming from java and python. Some people say unity is selling out and making shitty changes and that godot is on the come up. Unity just has so much support available, it seems the obvious choice for a beginner
You should try coming up with a more involved idea that isn't just a genre mish-mash and "but instead of gun, it's magic!"
Make something you can finish. Finishing things is an important skill you will need to force yourself to learn. Just make a simple 1 screen standalone thing to start with.
