the main draw of fromsoft writing(or lackthereof) is that it's barebones and plays with your imagination and has just enough information to if you pay attention you're able to end up with conclusions, you don't need to know the answer to every mystery.
go play other games if you want detailed writing about the tragic backstory of the main character and what type of dilator the wacky side kick uses on xer axewound on fridays.
