Honestly it isn't game of the Year, but I was excited to play it and I had a good time from start to finish.

Elden Ring is 80 hours of reused content. Stray is 5 of kino, comfy and soil. It's not even a competition. Quality over quantity.
ER has 90 unique bosses and 50 reused ones.
Even Limgrave alone would be a far longer game.

Quantity doesn't equal quality. I look back on my time with Elden Ring disappointed with the time I spent playing it. I look back on the considerably shorter time with Stray and feel happy for having experienced it. Dark Souls 4 was a fricking letdown. Stray was unique and memorable.

90 unique bosses that are far above everything in DS1, DS2 and most of DS3.
Even early Limgrave side bosses shit all over endgame bosses from DS1 and especially DeS in terms of moveset complexity and mechanics.
