I think that he's a creative artist with a good sense of humour but I don't necessarily love it.
PilotRedSun is a neo-luddite in the truest sense of the word. He is the only major indie animator out there who dared to challenge Adobe Flash's monopoly on the medium. He doesn't do a good job of organizing his thoughts but being a lo-fi artist (both for cartoons and music) he believes that the Internet has forgotten the strengths rasters have over vectors, and seeks to demonstrate that in his work. In a way, I would consider him the 2D equivalent of RatBoyGenius, in that both lack talent relevant to their medium of choice, but use their other areas of expertise to elevate what most would consider mere outsider art into something truly magical. While it is true that PilotRedSun is effectively a reincarnation of Cboyardee, I believe that diminishes the qualities of the former's work, since he is less about comedy and nihilism and is more interested in dreams and absurdism.
