I find it more likely that PC would die because consoles are much cheaper. The more things switch to phones there will be less people buying PC's capable of running many modern games.

The gaming industry should unironically stop making new games. They can still sell their current catalog, and they can re-release old games for modern platforms, but all games in development are to be scrapped and Steam is to not allow anyone to upload a game to their servers, AAA or indie. The same goes for live service games, after a small grace period they stop updating seasons or just shut off entirely.
if you removed all the noisy indie games, AAA will only see eachother clearly how shitty the vidya game industry is, this doesn't mean indie games is better, when you have so much smaller shits everywhere you tend to shroud the bigger shits.
