We reached the point of diminishing returns when it comes to realistic graphics. That's why every company is shilling ray tracing right now, a technology that won't be good when it comes to gaming for at least the next 2 generations

Reflections are a low hanging fruit, not the end goal. The end goal is to have realistic lighting in general which would make creating dynamic worlds possible. Full day-night cycles where every object has proper shadows that would adapt to the world being constantly changed by the player. All current attempts either use handcrafted lighting or hacky approximations where not every object cast shadows etc. Since this would be automatic, devs could potentially focus on creating fully interactive games without spending their time on the lighting (which takes a ton of time)
The hardware for this to be real-time is at least a decade away from that however.

Using a Korean F2P FPS game aimed at ancient internet cafe potatoes is a little extreme.
Actual photorealism is not something you can achieve. Heck, it would take Nvidia themselves 24 hours to render 30 photorealistic frames.
Its also not worth the fricking money. Getting a 3090 Ti now and realising it is "obsollete" as soon as 4xxx hits the market is a steep rabbit hole. Plus any time theres any actual advancement made in terms of graphics the "improvement" doesn't justify the cost.

Photorealism is an incredible waste of money and resources for something you can get by going out and touching some grass. It can be great for some games, but fundamentally it's a gigantic time and moneysink that brings diminishing.
Better invest those resources into making a better game.
Games used to look dramatically different year from year and console gen to console gen (yea yea frick consoles but the gens used to be easy measurements of time as to graphics getting better) things haven't improved that significantly since the PS4 gen. Hell some PS3/360 era games don't look much worse than a typical PS4/XBONE game and some new games still look like shit
